tempex88:I agree with you. Never been a fan of blended families. I feel for the kids, very awkward and difficult situation. It works for some families though with immense hardships to blend the family. I also think these decisions are selfish and self serving and do not entirely consider the wellness of the kids involved. Also studies show that divorcees are 70% more likely to divorce if they choose to marry again. ![]() |
helpee:1. He was the one who said his marble and tin can elections are fair and transparent in the whole world. Who rigged them? 2. He conceded defeat. Meaning he was confident in his processes created by his administration that took power by coup!! 3. He has been controlling the electroral body all these years. Just because he lost this time, then he wants to take over by force? 4. Has been in power for two long. He doesn't wanna hand over power that he took over by coup? This man deserves Guantanamo or Mandelas jail. There is nothing to listen. The only time to listen is in the next elections after Adama Barrows term. The voters/citizens will say what they want through marbles again. For now, he must accept that he will be in the opposition party and step down. ![]() |
They should walk further deep inside the forest to find the girls na. I am sure they will find them chilling with Shekau drinking Arabic coffee ![]() |

SuperSuave:What is making sense here? When you chain a dog or leash it, is that empowering? The dog cannot do anything unless you agree to it. This does not make sense literally or figuratively. He is also lying, he wouldn't want this done on his daughter. ![]() |
Sacluxpaint:Very true. Singles have no idea what goes on on a daily basis. All is just her perception. Given an the shoes, she will never even wear them for just a good two months. So, Miss Nairaland makes her a pundit of marriages.smh. ![]() |
kenonze:I would be interested to know where you live? I am not stigmatizing anyone, travel and live in different countries and compare. You will see that Africa is still lagging in a lot. Its not stigma its facts. Simple healthcare System in Nigeria is not good. Most people choose to give birth outside the country. So there is no stigmatization its daily life for some people. People travel to India for dialysis or transplants. Anyways you are jumping from one issue to another. It was orphanages, then IDP camps and now Old age Homes Let me tell why white people prefer old age homes 1. Most white people chose to live in retirement homes so as to curb loneliness and avoid depression. When they live with people who share the same situation with them, they feel better. 2. Elderly tend to have health conditions as they grow old. ( Dementia, Diabetes, Cancer, Schizophrenia, Parkinsons Disease, Incontinence, Arthritis etc ) These life threating conditions need a full time nurse who knows better. Meaning medical costs become more and their older children cannot afford them as well. Their children have other responsibilities of their own they cannot afford to live with an aged parent who needs e.g. daily dialysis or weekly radiation or chemotherapy to treat cancer or daily watchful eyes to watch an elderly person with Dementia. Governments of well organized countries compel younger generation to contribute towards medical fund and pension which later assist them when they retire. Its not about joke or not. Its simple planning by the government. Compelling citizens to contribute towards their healthcare and social welfare while they are still agile and working. Its not magic, its their taxes contributed while they were working. |
kenonze:Not sure which point you are referring to that I have failed to prove. All i said to you was raising a child with their extended family is way better than an Orphanage. We both don't have full information about this man and his triplets. The fact that he is alive, that means he has origins somewhere. An extended family somewhere.Hi deceased wife has family somewhere. Which when one lives in orphanage, its normally difficult to trace. Besides is absurd to expect him to have all his family members in these pictures which were simply about him and his ordeal and not about his extended family. So many people put pictures of their neonates on Instagram, FB etc. It has always been common amongst white people and its becoming common among black people. That doesnt make them entirely bad parents neither it doesn't mean not showing their faces makes them smarter or richer later on in life. In fact white babies have been inventing things etc while you black people who have not been exposing kids outside your family for the first month have been lagging. Mercy Johnson has been kind and generous with her neonates pics, does that make her a bad parent You cannot judge parenting skills by just that one munite pic. |
alezzy13:The ignorant person here is you who thinks only material things raise up a child. A good support family structure is what every child needs not an orphanage. I can tell you have no idea what an orphanage makes people feel. My father was orphaned, lived in an orphanage and he used to tell us that he doesn't wish that for anybody. Moreover the triplets are not orphaned, they still have a father and other extended family members who may perhaps be willing to assist the father take care of them. An orphanage should be the last resort. The kids have martenal and paternal family who can help. |
kenonze:You are one confused person here. Where does IDP camp come in here? There is no 5 star orphanage. You are lying. Even in first world countries talkless of Nigeria. Orphanages sometimes struggle to feed the kids when the funders decide otherwise especially when they have issues with government administration. I was not even suggesting a 5 star home because majority of homes are not 5 star. I can bet even your home is not a 5 star home. Thats where you also miss the point, beautiful buildings don't raise a good child. Majority of successful people were not raised in 5 star homes but were raised in loving families who loved and supported them. Try and suggest an orphanage for your family members. You suggestion was heartless, point blank. Even in Social work, a Social Worker normally assess if there is any family member capable of taking care of the child before suggesting an orphanage because family support structure is better than an Orphanage for a childs development. I can raise my brother child better than your Unicef or Who or your imaginery 5 star home. |
kenonze:It wasn't meant to be an insult, but your view of things spell family issues. If you have no family issues you would know that kids can get love and care from their mothers sisters or aunts not the government. Who is the government by the way? Orphanage is not a good place at all.Its for people who have no one in this world. Grandparents are way better than orphanage given proper financial support and a place to live. Suggesting an orphanage, killed me. Thats so cold of you. Have you been to an orphanage? Have you lived there? Do you know how it feels being in a place where you are taken care of by strangers who are only doing a job? No child of my brothers or sisters will go to an orphanage while I am alive. |
kenonze:So you think the government can take care of babies better than their father or aunts or grandparents ![]() I am sorry that you come from a very disfunctional family I can take care of my sisters of brothers kids better than the government. Right now I cater for them. |
shaiba:If it was not for her marriage crisis, i doubt she was gonna apologise. This is just a strategy to cushion whatever is to come out to the public about her marriage. She wants people to be sympathetic towards her. Biggest manipulator. It has crossed her mind that she is also human and she is not immune to things that happen to all women ( marriage crisis, kids crisis etc ) Her husband is afterall not KING KONG. Its good for Mercy to forgive her or else that will be too much to carry. |
gabazin080:Eeeeuuuuwwww. Your own is serious. |

You are really an enemy of progress . You dont want me to taste the real stuff!!!! Leave me. |
Lilimax:Her own is complicated oo. Even God had a hard time with her. Kids from different fathers and marrying a man who is none of the kids father. ![]() I am not a supporter of blended families because most of the times the kids suffer. If i was in her shoes, i would get a lifetime shagging buddy and forget about marriage and traumatizing my kids. Multiple failed marriages are not good for the development of any child. If i could loose my husband now( God forbid) I will date but not marry. Raise my tiny tots alone. Not live with the man as well. |
Talk2Bella:I am with you. I would rather take multiple vacations to different locations than spending $12000 at one vacation spot. |
Talk2Bella:Well she said she is Muslim. As I said I follow her vlog, before she shut it down and after her come back. |
Talk2Bella:True. She is Hausa who calls her self Igbo. I always wonder what kind of Muslim is she. I follow her vlog. On her videos, her cleavage is always out there. Her hair not always covered. She may be an apostate at heart. She behaves otherwise to be called Muslim. |
The Tina Uche who shared the story, whats stopping her from helping her. She needs shelter; let her share her bed with the girl na. ![]() |

TechEnthusiast:I hate these churches with a passion, but i do believe in the power that each and everyone possess. If you believe in something with no ounce of doubt, nothing is impossible. Somethings takes time, some come to fruition quicker, depending on whether the help was close by or not. We all possess that mighty power. If you believe in you greatness nothing is impossible. People should stop handing over that power to some priests and pastors. |
DebbieLaw:How do we know which one is God's anointed and prophet? So many say God but few really are honest and true. |
I love her real face ooo |
idupaul:Nope. Thats my dressing ring and not wedding ring. ![]() |
Greatidonis:You dont know what transpired and you wanna know. Amebo. I won't share. But trust me, it gets better. We stood the test of time. We learnt how to resolve our issues better and he loves me for standing my ground. |
TheVictorious:Well its easy to throw in opinions when you dont know what transpired. Most of the times he was completely wrong. Most times i felt whatever he did was unforgivable. Because he knew he was wrong he endured and I learned to forgive him. So please its our marriage, and my reaction to anger, i dont think you can dictate how me and my husband react and solve our problems. Tell that to your partner. My husband can handle his own. We will be completing three years and its getting better. ![]() |
I dont blame her. Marriage is not easy first year. Well, it wasn't easy for me. But i think its even more difficult whe you have your business on social media and have million eyes watching and waiting to see what will happen. No matter how long you dated or have known each other. Combining values, beliefs and even finances to build one entity is no joke ooo. Us, women, we expect the udjustment and changes to happen on the day of the wedding and unfortunately it doesn't work like that. Thank goodness, my husband endured. I don't know how many times I divorced him in our kitchen, bedroom, livingroom etc. I pray they find a solution. |
