Jakumo: Damn ! Those are some of the most profoundly ugly women I have ever had the misfortune of beholding. It is fascinating to note the proud look on the face of their blubber-loving husband. To compare such nasty fat apparitions with hippos would be a grave insult to hippos, for sure.
Clearly the good folks in South Africa have never even heard of physical exercise, perhaps on account of them being too drunk most of their waking hours, to hear anything
No amount of money under the sun could ever entice me to touch any such disgusting examples of clinical obesity. No wonder that Africans are mocked mercilessly by bemused observers living outside the Dark Continent. You are one very unhappy person |

God exists. No doubt about that.
BUT God never said he is Christian or Muslim or Buddhist or Sikh etc. So I question the authenticity of religion.
Religion seems like it was all about power and politics |

NOETHNICITY: I swear to God, I ve a former neighbor, staunch Catholics, Ibo by tribe, he is married to 2wives. Both wives re Catholics. The man was excommunicated then, though I don't know as of now if he is still a Catholic His Catholicism is just by birth. He is still a practicing Catholic. One of the marriages is definately not recognised by the Church. Or even both marriages. I can tell you, he may have not tied the knot in the Church. |

Gaddafithe2nd: Well done Musa Ahmed, you are a good man and a good muslim. You detest cheating that is why you followed the Islamic doctrine of getting married to another wife since you are capable to do it financially and physically. As for his ex-wife, she is the loser. Once you are muslim lady, you can never compel your husband to marry only you. Is only a selfish muslim lady/woman that would go against what almighty Allah says in the Quran. All other muslim ladies should learn from this. I don't know why our muslim women are now selfish like their western counterparts. Only women are selfish for not agreeing to have co-wives, abi? Men are angels for not considering the feelings of the first wives. What do you call doing something against your partners approval and knowing well that they don't like it? |

phranq: Which one again is endured?? He is a Muslim and his religion accepts multiple wives but d lady was jealous and did not want him to do d right thing as a devoted Muslim. Had it been d first wife is a Christian it would hv bin a different ball game. God is a jealous God. He doesn't like it when attention meant for him is devided. He doesn't like being jealous. He hates the feeling. What kind of a God who experts us to do what he himself cannot stand? So, polygamy being permissible in Islam is a total misogynist idea that was created by men for a man's gratification and has nothing to do with God. |

Feminism is good but should not be at the expense of the opposite gender.
Women need support and care but man should not be portrayed as monsters who are against progress of women. I partly support feminism, but not in its entirety.
Women apply feminism in your entire life at your own peril. 9 Likes 1 Share |

lekeshoow: Hello guys, I salute the effort of the OP and all members of this thread, I really want to move to KSA before the end of this year in sha Allah, I am a graduate of mathematics but I have been working as an RF Drive Test Engineer (Telecommunication sector) since last year, pls I need someone to advice me on how to get this job more easily and quicker, I am satisfied with the restrictions over there, in fact its the major reason I want to go there, I will start applying for jobs posted on the telecom forums I have subscribed to online, and will also start taking steps on getting my Nigerian passport when I get my next salary, my wife is studying Medical Lab Sc to finish next year in sha Allah, pls I need someone to enlighten me more on the important things I need to be aware of to make this dream a reality soonest in sha Allah. Thank you.
hemmn and pls, on some of the job links I saw, it was written on the description that 'transferable iqama or ajeer is a must', don't know what that means o. Take a look at the above posts with webpage addresses, they might help you. Only if you wanna go into the academic field. Iqama is a work permit that your employer applies on your behalf to work here. The employer bears all the costs of relocation etc and they become our Mahrams especially for us women. Some employers refuse to hand people over to other employers because of the costs of relocating and recruiting one person. Therefore they sort of "close iqama" meaning you cannot resign and join another employer. You have to resign, return to your country of origin and start the process all over again. "Transferable Iqama" simply means transferable work permit. Eg. If you come with a wife and your wife is your dependant under your "Iqama", she can find a job while in Saudi, if she decides to take another offer, she is free to do it because her "Iqama" is transferable. She didnt arrive in Saudi through any company, but through the husband. This is somehow modern day slavery, but it doesn't affect us that much. People resign and return to their home countries and start the process all over again. |

He also complained bitterly about the restrictions despite being a Muslim. Well you get used to it and create your own fun. Yes, your collegue was not exeggerating. Yes, alot of Muslims expecially from the UK, find it hard to cope here. For medics, leave is calculated differently. For us in the academic sector, we have quiete generous breaks in between quater terms and a very generous summer break. |
