I don't know what transpired for her mama to abandon her.

In our family case, we have a niece ( my late brothers daughter ), who is rebelious rude, unruly,liar, etc child.Both her parents are late, so she was left to our family's care.

She is 14 years.We have failed in all possible ways to contain her. We have prayed for her, psychological intervention, spiritual intervention,flogging, visits to hospices to see infected people, personal conversations you name it.
I have personally given up on her and have asked her to do whatever she wants.

In her case, if she can get pregnant, I will still distance myself from her.

So I won't judge her mother because we have a living example of an unruly child.

We have tried all we could as a family to show her love and she spits it on our faces.

So, there is a lot to her story, then meets the eye. I doubt a mother would give up on her child who has been well behaving and happened to be a victim of one stupid act. Perhaps the mother was always telling her and advicing her to no avail.

Anyone working in Saudi Arabia?? How is life as a female and christian.

I decided to take a break from my studies next year for personal reasons that I cannot share. I decided to use my SA passport to my advantage as they only want SA, British, US, Ausralian, Canadian citizens.
I did one month TESOL course and then applied for English teaching jobs. To my suprise, I got responses.

They pay anything from $3000 - $6000 per month depending on experience and $6500 - $9000 when you possess Phd or Masters in English.
Accomodation is free, Medical insurance and transport is also provided and 30 days paid leave and round trip ticket to home country once per year.

I am skeptical to accept because of hearsay.

Are stories sansationalised or is Saudi Arabia really bad for a woman?

I have been following this topic in amazement at peoples responses.

If he loves you and has made future plans which includes you, he would try to always make your life as comfortable as possible.

In this case he is far from making your life comfortable, this is not about being your father or not. Find yourself a man who will find joy in making your life easier and better.

I don't think the time frame matters but the quality of the relationship that matters. I have seen people who dated 5-10yrs yet still divorce.

Some people date longer and still don't know each and cannot tolerate each other.

My mama used to say, " It takes a man less than 6 months to know if they want you as a wife or not.

One can keep long relationships and yet they don't last, after getting married.
And sometimes those who are extra careful in choosing partners normally end up with the worst choices.

My take is, follow your heart and your head, and not time frame pre-defined by societies.

I have have a lot of encounters with Psychiatrist and Psychologists and Professor who don't see the way you do.

In psychology there are only three causes of ailments that have been proven
1. Somatic (Physical ) - Injuries, genetics, infections etc.
2. Environmental - Abuse, pollution etc
3. Psychosomatic - belief that u have something and u eventually develop somatic symptoms which never existed .

I did clinical aspect and still continue to do it.

The psychology I studied and practice taught me to accept and respect peoples beliefs at the same time stand for what is wrong and unethical.

To say the woman killed the man because of Diabolism is utter rubbish. I have not come across Diabolism in all the years I have been practising part time and full time.

People always do jungle justice in communities to other people who are suspected of practicing Diabolism and Black Magic and no professional let alone lay person can prove beyond doubt that there is Diabolism. No Psychologist or Pyschiatrist has ever been called into a Court of Law who can prove beyond doubt its existence.

So please love, change instutuitions, they may be messing with your else, get Psychological evaluation your self.

With all these scientific studies that have proven psychological and physiological causes of disease, there is no single one that u can show me that proves death and diseases caused by diabolism.

A lot of disease and all mental illnesses were thought to be of diabolic in nature, up to this day, none has been cured let alone managed by spritualism. E.g.Epilepsy.

Ebola was beleived by some to be the work of the devil but science cured Ebola and not spirituality.

i never knew diabetes is caused by extra-marital affair. if the man had died of magün or he got shot in the mistress' house then one can understand his logic but diabetes?

Nobody is saying for sure she killed him, just as you cant vouch that he died of diabetes. We are only looking at the probable causes of his death, and with the mistress threats, her confession and circumstance around her death, you cant rule out diabolism, so you really have no point

I am still saying all of these incidences they happened concurrently which made her to believe that she had the upper had in a mans death. She thought her diabolism worked thereby felt guilty because she had done something to fight the man as well. But the truth of the matter is somatic causes killed the man.

Diabolism doesn't exist. Its only an uneducated black mans excuse when then fail to think and explain things beyond their imagined world.

The man died because of somatic causes relating to his Diabetes that was discovered very late. Which when sugar levels are too high it can lead to organ failure, coma and sudden death.

I still pity his family who are educated but think very primitively.

The man died because of " DIABETES " which could have lead to organ failure and perhaps sudden coma to death.

Unfortunately all of this happened coincidentally ( diagnosis of Diabetes, curse of the student nurse, and a mans decision to go back to his family ) and hence the nurse also believed she killed the man.

Its sad the family believes this crap when they are this educated.

A child is a child regardless of the gender. A childs conduct and sense of responsibility should somehow determine the luxuries that a child gets not gender.
I will always reward a well behaved child who majority of the times wear his best behavior even out of my sight.

Laptop to do schoolworks is basic necessity, todays kids use computer at school anyways. But an expensive cellphone, tablet etc, to me are all luxuries that should be rewarded because of good behavior or conduct regardless of gender of the child.

Personally, I will buy all my kids basic phones to always be in contact with them for their safety and constant communication with them while they are out of my sight. But I will reward my kids expensively ( cellphone upgrades, tablet upgrade etc ) to encourage good behavior and responsibility. At the same time I will teach them to earn whatever they have.
