Good luck to everyone going.I thank God, I never had to go through this. I doubt I would have survived. My elder siblings complained about filth and other living conditions. |
I find waking up every morning, discovering that I am still alive miraculous. Its not because of my intelligence that I see another day, but its by miraculous grace of the almight. But I have a lot of stories to tell ![]() |
akpumping7720: Well! Well!. I regretted having a child out of weddlock. It isn't something I planned for considering †ђξ fact dat I ave a baby girl. And anytime I listen to her voice on fone I always feel guilty for not getting married to her mom. But I want a kind of satisfaction 4 myself in †ђξ future but at †ђξ same time I always feel sorry for my baby girl for allowing her to come into dis world and not enjoy dat parental care and affection she needs to ave. Dat guilty conscience burns my heart everryday. And I always try to make her happy by meeting up with her needs.I respect you for your honesty and not candy coating what is unacceptable and make it look cool and right to the younger generation. I have been waiting for people to comment on the disadvantages but also not ignoring other blessings at the sametime discouraging those who have not done it yet rather than praising this abnormalcy which will breed an abnormal society. Your God sees your heart and will help you to forgive yourself. Pray for your child daily, that's the best gift you can give her. All the best bro ![]() |
Those who are single parents ( those who were never married and married and divorced) I salute their courage, but I get worried when people come on social or public forums and bit their chests and say " I am proud of being a single parent" ( particularly those who were never married ) 1) Ignoring the fact that its not about them and their mistake but its about a child who will be psychologically affected because of an absent father. Yes it was a decision/ mistake that you did and you had a child out of wedlock, but its not good to condone and justify your behavior on a public forum where the younger generation will learn from you that its OK to be a single parent ( refering to those who never married ). Having a baby before marriage is " NOT GOOD " for the child. Being single maybe good for you but but a child needs the father. I am not judging those who are unwedded single parents but I am against those who paint a picture for the younger generation that " single parenthood " is the way to go. DON'T DECEIVE other people. Single parenthood is harder financially, emotionally etc than you paint it to be. For christians looking into have children before wedlock, here are words for thought Wisdom of Solomon 4 : 16 - 19 ( Read this chapter and let's debate ) ![]() |

I am disappointed ladies. In fact exercising is not only good for weightloss its also good for your brain.its good for easy delivery when you preggy, reduces cellulite and I also use it as my me time to think. I exercise twice a day morning and evening, by jogging 4km. That means 8km a day. I have two machines ( treadmill and orbitrek ) if let's say its raining I don't look for excuses not to exercise.I do sit ups as well.I also use e-vibe belt to message my calves so that they continue looking like a womans legs. ![]() |

davidylan: Changing the seats worked a treat to be honest. the other things i added include wall panels (to improve the sound) and blue strip lights to recreate the cinema effect. The room with lights on -I am very impressed o, looking at the fact that you said you have budget issues. ![]() Its what you wanted and what you could afford. Comfort, style. Well done. I also opened a thread for my bedroom sometime ago, I am busy also changing my four roomed flat, money is devil oooo. My project is slow and I am also busy working on other projects But I will share on NairalandI agree with @ all4naija, Nigerians have to learn alot about interior decor. Our houses can be somehow and some of us carry that abroad and continue with what we are used to. Though some of us its budget that is a problem, but alot its ignorance Beautiful decor can be achieved with little budget as well. ![]() |
davidylan: lol agreed. The gf said the same thing and i had to swap them out for raymour and flanigan recliners. Much more expensive than i really wanted but they work.I am glad she was there to work with you and be honestly blunt. It now looks like a man cave at the same time friendly for woman ![]() Tell her she is the best. ![]() Looks awesome. ![]() Don't mind these Village interior designers encouraging you to use Patio furniture for house/ man cave. ![]() |
its not as bad as u guys take it.. Yall too uptight Joor..
See na, refusing constructive criticism. There is still a lot of growing to be done. ![]() Nigerians are different to SAfricans. In SA this is publicly ok and there is nothing wrong. Your nice personality in Naija will make, you go get permanent label, fast fast. The difference is that SA does it openly and Naija does it discreetly. . So you may take my advice or leave it, its your choice . |
just saw this now oo.. Bbe I don't flirt I'm just a nice person nd u people take it otherwise..
Okay ooo, I hear you. Luv, you know Nigerians have a way of telling the truth and apologize afterwards .Let this joke make you do internal inner inner introspection? Ike should be the only cockroach in your cupboard eeeeh. No other Nairaland cockroach should lay eyes on you. I apologise and I also forgive you on behalf of Ike, you know Igbo's look after each other. ![]() |

all4naija: The OP plan is laughable though. Hahaha... I hope no Nigerian will buy into such mediocrity. yes, he tried sha. He really tried. |

tatiana009: As long as it works for him and he is happy with it he can put a couch in the kitchen sef. The important thing is that the furniture is functional in the space it is put. In a kitchen the person would have to have enough space so it isn't near the cooker where things can pour on it. There was a time when people taught that putting a tv in the kitchen was ridiculous but now so many people do so. If anything is done with flair it will even become the new trend. Personally I love the look of the cane furniture in his TV room. The only reason why most people use them outdoor is because they can withstand rain. There is no logical reason why the OP can't use them in his tv room. His house, his rules and it looks good so kudos to him. Looks like I touched the wrong button. I am sure you have cane furniture inside your sitting room, thats why you protecting this concept. I know that personality determines how the room looks like, but it does not mean be deranged.Anyways, as you said its OP's choice, he had thought of buying a recliner which is OK. But a lazy boy is better than a recliner. OP, it looks like you are creating some kind of a man cave to me, so I still suggest two lazy boys and one small bean bag, a bigger screen. Patio furniture looks terrible and also uncomfortable in cinema rooms. Abi, you will spend a lot of time there, so patio furniture is a NO, NO its also uncomfortable. ![]() |
tatiana009: I love your furniture and there is no rule that says cane furniture cannot be used indoors. It is a refreshing look. TV should be bigger thoughI get your point, but there is also no rule that says that couches cannot be used in the kitchen. But we use common sense and advice from those who create the pieces. ![]() Contact any interior designer that you know, they will tell you patio furniture is patio furniture. Some modern patios are also indoors, hey. So cane furniture is generally meant for patios not for living room or TV room. ![]() |
abdulkayus: no mind her. She want u to sex her till eternity. Y would some1 do all dat and still claim she doesnt enjoy sex. Na lie jor. She is circumcise bt d cli.to.ris is nt chop off co,pletely, which is wat Islam recommend. Its dos dat has their cli.to.ris chop off completely dat do nt enjoy sex like others. Ur gal will be more healthy down there than dos nt circumcise at all.Are you a woman Dont you know that woman can lie, just not to disappoint you and boost your ego. ![]() Even woman with everything in tact find it hard to ........... It takes practice and self understanding. How much more when she is circumcised ![]() |
OP, sorry to criticize you. I am a fan of interior decor. Those chairs and table is garden furniture. Its meant to be displayed outside or in your balcony overlooking the garden or whatever. I would have adviced you to opt for bean bags and one or two lazy boys and invest your money on a bigger screen. Lazy boys are not that expensive though ![]() See pics. You tried shaaa. ![]()

My rule is always look but don't touch. ![]() He can look, admire and pass on remarks or whatever whether I am around or not I don't care. ![]() He can flirt as much as he wants but. What I cannot approve of is when he acts on his lust while I am in the picture ![]() |
