I wonder why guys are saying no dates - I booked for mine two days to the interview and the next day was even available too as well as the following weekdays. Please ensure you're booking correctly. Slept in the office for my 7am appointment because its closer to the consulate. Got there in the rain by 5:30 or so. After all the checks, queued up and the VOs came to their desks. I wanted one other slim vo because he seemed cool and patient lol, but I was asked to meet the Chinese guy - I think he should be about 32. I wouldn't say he's strict, as the interview wasn't as scary as I feared. You just need to give him or any of them good responses..

me: I'm going to st cloud state university to study for an MS degree in Applied Clinical Research.
vo: how many schools did you apply to?
me: I applied to 4 schools; the university of Rhode Island, Virginia Commonwealth university, the university of Texas medical branch and St cloud state university.
vo: why st cloud?
me: I chose to attend st cloud because the clinical research program focuses on medical device research which basically aligns with my interests and I will ( vo cuts in)

me; I told him I wasn't sure what the difference is ( I had not heard that word in the context he was asking so I chose to be honest instead of explaining rubbish)
vo: what will this degree do for you?
me: this program will equip me with the requisite skills to be able to perform proper and ethical biomedical research upon my return to Nigeria.
vo: what's your research topic?
me: I'll be working on biosystems neuromodulation(the guy is super fast with asking questions and typing)

Passed i20 back with white form and said to pick up passport in three days.

If you did it correctly, then it should be about the same. For example, my official report was 0.01 higher than what I got on the WES online calculator. All the best.

Just forget you took that exam. Study well and re-write, or don't even show that if it's not a school requirement.

My point is, a low TOEFL score can affect an admission decision for schools that care about the test.

if a graduate applicant using WES evaluation reports want to upload a copy on a University application page.
Are we required to upload university official transcripts again along with the WES Evaluation Report ?

OK, everything you upload on the application portal is unofficial. I was asked to upload both by one of the schools I applied to. I was lucky I had someone make photocopy for me before it was sent to WES as schools generally don't hand transcripts to students. So, it depends on the graduate schools policy. So ask your admissions office.

It depends on how decisions are made by your program of choice. It may be on a rolling basis or after deadlines. I applied last to University of Rhode Island and got the decision a little after two weeks, but for others the wait don dey reach two months. You should probably email the graduate school after 4 weeks asking about your app status IF decisions are made on a rolling basis, otherwise, brother find a hobby.

They actually require it. They didn't begin my evaluation until I sent a photocopy of my degree certificate. I don't know if there's a way around this requirement but feel free to send them an email explaining your situation.

Also they wouldn't have instructed that i write my reference number on each envelope I will use when posting it

Include your reference number in the recipient address section when filling your transcript form. You School will send it, but you may have to follow it up by asking someone in your exams and record dept/registrar's office to keep an eye on it. If you're using courier service, the person can later send you the tracking number. WES will get back to your school for verification so transcript will have to come from school. About sending it on your own, I don't know. The safer option is always better. Most schools won't even give it to you by hand.

OK... The free GRE went to Adazlolly when I finally roll of my bed I'm going to do it, I will also subsidize 2/3 other peoples GRE/TOEFL by 30% or so percent by registering it at #250 to $1. My whole budget for this thing is $400-$450 . between paying bills and some serious flexing here it doesn't leave much extra.

So I am going to stick to guys who mailed me first. Ipledge, chinewon88 and Venek . as a special concession to lagoismyhome (I'll see what I can do about teekay) . But it takes Wes just 7 days from wen they get what is required. For the guy asking about Wes, GPA came out with 0.01 addition to what their online GPA calculator gave, so use it and you'll eventually get little to no difference. Prepping for Standardized tests. We all shall testify to the goodness of The Lord.
