op dull sha. so you had a discussion with just one person from an ad firm (out of the hundreds or thousands we have) and made your conclusion based on that? OLODO!!! also, nairaland has far more traffic than LIB and i can swear that anyone who visits LIB visits nairaland many times more, so the logic that LIB has more financially buoyant readers doesn't really hold true. let's forget the teenagers and youths that have an account on nairaland and post and comment silly things, there are some "underground" men of calibre that visits nairaland with or without an account. that said, i think you're very gullible because from the beginning, you said you were of the opinion that nairaland makes more money. so tomorrow when you have this same discussion with someone who patronizes nairaland, your opinion will automatically change again? to the moderators, This post on front page is bad for business, very vey bad!!! are you guys working for seun or against him? (una just do free advert for LIB so) you'd be surprised the nagative impact this could have on the forum. see people already complaining about the layout of nairaland |
whatlyf: If LASG or FG wants to "aSsist", they should travel to the countries and not import the ebola victims to Nigeria.but nobody said we are "importing" ebola victims to Nigeria. West African nations wants to learn how to control and contain the disease from us by the health workers and health authorities coming here to learn, then go back and implement it. Simple. it,s not a bad thing, it's a compliment to us. |
NifemiOlu: Wondering why some peeps are having issues with Windows 8, for me, it's super great...super cool. As for this Windows 9, all I can see is a combination of Windows 7+8.1. Is Microsoft trying to dull us?Thanks bro. I've used both win 7 and 8. And i swear, windows 8 is superb. I don't know why people always complain about it. |
PapaNnamdi: my windows 8 still givin me problems,I think windows 8 is amazing. I've never had any problems with it. |
mirajune: Because the first son is like the 'better' side of their husband that has changed since they got married. (Just kidding). Let me ask my mum why she prefer and always support my senior bro. Be right back......Lol... We are waiting for you . |
Maybe I'm not right about this, but it's my observation from some families I've met and mine too. I come from a family with six kids, I'm the 2nd son and I have an elder brother. My mom is very nice and she loves all of us very much. Still, i always feel she has a stronger bond with my elder brother. Whenever the family is talking and she's asked "mom, which of your kids do you like most? " even before she answers, everyone will shout "Sam" (that's my elder brothers name) but she will always reply "I love you all equally" and yes, she loves us, cares for us and sacrifices a lot for us. Another scenario is that of my cousin, she has 4 kids, I've stayed with them, and i still noticed this same thing, she loves all her kids but she's much more closer to the first son (first child). Some people say it's because it's women's first experience of childbirth. Others say moms shower the first son with so much love so that he too can extend the same loving hand to his younger siblings. I don't know if this also happens in the case where the first child is a girl. Share your story, have you noticed this same phenomenon in your family or elsewhere? If yes, what are your thoughts about it? |
Opportunity for tecno haters to say the phone is a flop |
0rlando0woh: You should be ashamed of being overpopulated. Why should he be ashamed? Is China ashamed of their population. I bet your family even contributes more to Nigeria's over population than his. |
PapiWata: The man at least died as hero among lovers of dog meat, known in his neck of the woods as "Ebuwa" meat. Matter of fact it would not be surprising at all if the victim of this dhoggie dinner comes to be remembered with reverence and fondness, as a veritable patron saint of dog meat eaters in Calabar, Nigeria and beyond. You well so? |
2oby: a friend of mine who is a geographer told me something sometimes ago. She told me rain doesn't fall wen d rainbow appears. She said d construction companies have machine dat projects artificial rainbow to stop d rain wc most time obstruct quality result.Lol, your friend just deceive you with oyibo grammar What she really means is that the companies have native doctors (machines /mercenaries) that perform some juju and incantations (project artificial rainbow) ![]() |
This one black? Lol. |
It now seems like a zombie apocalypse over there |
This is one of the reasons I advise people not to use any other name apart from their real name and picture on Facebook (because that's one of the easiest way for people to contact you in a situation like this) . If any of these guys happen to be using those stupid names like "young money Friday, cash money Sunday, Doro-ekomobong" etc all in the name of SWAG, they would definitely miss out on the obtaining their discharge certificate with ease.Good one OP. Well done. |

Ceasar1: I'd rather come as a Bird than Human. Then my catapult will be ready for you ![]() |
Very true. Very little attention is paid to education in Nigeria. |
Eldavido1: If #1 fit buy u bread in 1980, u go nid #165 to buy the same bread today cause of inflation. So also if you earned 1 naira then, you will earn 165 naira now. Except the economy has gone really bad in all that time like in the case of Nigeria. But ordinarily, the exchange rate between two currencies does not really matter. What matters is the strength and wealth distribution of such nation. |
Orunto: This one you talk surprise me. Are saying that the Police are just trying their usual trivial-tricky game on us all? The Igbos don't want to be Deputy Governor of Lagos again? Or is it Emir of Sokoto that the Igbos now want?Bro, what has this post got to do with the igbos or any tribe? |

dondo83: That is why we "proof read" auto correct or not, we shouldn't be lazy..... Read your write ups before clicking SUBMITYes, you're right. It's easier said than done. You proof read your project work and assignment in school and work related articles and documents. But really, cut people some slack on social media. We all know this is a common mistake which anyone can make, so why are some people still particular about it? Nor be Government work my brother. |
Faun: Welcome to South Africa, the land of conquered niggers. It's South Korea. Not South Africa |
I don't believe it. ![]() I have different handwriting and none of them look anything close to one another and I am consistent in using anyone I choose. Does that now mean I have multiple personality disorder? ![]() |
