Our curriculum is way outdated and it makes it difficult for our kids to be global citizens. Few weeks ago, my team and I were at the Federal Ministry of Education and we discussed at length with the Minister of State for Education about this archaic curriculum. I hope when they finally reel out the curriculum, it will be in tandem with cutting-edge technologies. |
If many men can have the kind of patience God gave me, how sweet will life be for them. I could remember vividly how my wife seized my phone while going to work early Monday morning. I leave home on Monday morning to return weekend to see her and our two wonderful kids. That was how all the clothes I ironed and arranged were scattered by her. Blocking the door and pushing me several times because she said I was cheating. I begged her several times to keep the phone but she should allow me to go to work. All my plea did not yield any result. Just imagine if i had pushed her out of the way and she hit her head on something, I would have been tagged a murderer. To cut long story short, she kept the phone for that day. I later received her message on my PC WhatsApp that I should come home to get my phone. I just laughed. May our level of patience never be put to test that will stretch beyond its elastic limit. |
That's not true. Being a pilot is a highly rewarding career. I lodged in Sheraton Ikeja early this month, come and see the soft life those pilots are living. If you had said that the job is highly risky, I would have agreed with you. humilitypays: |
Submission of phones during working hours isn't a big deal. It's for workers to have full concentration. For someone like me who works on a laptop throughout the day with 247 internet connection, I don't even need my phone since WhatsApp is installed. |
Just dey deceive yourself... notttty: |
Degree in Animal Production and Health but now a Robotics Engineer in Abuja. I know many of you will be surprised but it took doggedness, trainings by experts abroad sponsored by my ever- reliable boss and ultimately, God Almighty to sail through. It's been a wonderful experience. There is always this joy in my heart whenever I wake up in the morning going to work because my job is fun. Also staying awake throughout the night to program. Although, the job is brain tasking but I love it. |
Npower thank you oooo for remembering Wema bank users this morning. |
Npower make unah show wema bank users love ooooo... We are waiting patiently. |
I read some comments here and I can't help but laugh at some people's view about STEAM. I'll link their views to inexposure. I teach one of the STEAM subjects here in Abuja (Robotics) and I can tell you that it's highly rewarding. You can't be ICT inclined and suffer in Nigeria of today whether you're teaching or in other sectors. Of recent, I declined 4 other jobs in different organizations in Abuja here because of the school I'm teaching. I'll advise anyone who is really good at STEAM to relocate to better cities to enjoy teaching and make good money from it. Guys are really chilling in Abuja with this teaching job ooo. I'm in a cab going home. So I don't have all the time to type long epistle about teaching in a good school in Abuja. |
August stipend received with gratitude. Wema bank. One year don waka. My advice to C2 beneficiaries is to see Npower as an additional source of income for the next one year. It will always be useful whenever it comes no matter how long. My believe is that there is no beneficiary that is not working to earn a living. Npower stipend is not something you can depend on ooooo. I'm glad that boy called pastor wetin self has been banned. He's becoming a nuisance to this platform. I wish you well as we leave this thread for you guys. |
I don't know why Nigerians are like this... During registration, it was clearly stated that the scheme is for a year which you didn't decline. Please move on n with your life and allow others to benefit from the National Cake. BTW, I'm also a beneficiary BatchC1 to be precise. |

Wema bank received. Niger State |
Oya oooo wema bank.... Make unah do normal normal for boys. |
Abi ooo... See the epileptic way those guys paid us throughout the program. If you aren't economical in spending, there is no way you'll be able to point to something tangible with their method of payment. 23jerryking: |
@NPOWER. You guys should just pay the 3months together now. At least, we'll appreciate you guys for the sendoff package. |
When I watched this lady's outburst, I just smiled. Cumbaland Hotel, Paris Deli and the last one that I can't remember the name again all located in V/I. Chai! Well, I did all those menial jobs during my undergraduate days anyway. It wasn't easy at all. Thank God I left Lagos for good. My mental health is more important than the money people say is flowing in Lagos. |
Received around 8am this morning. Wema bank. |
Don't worry bro. You'll receive your stipend inasmuch as it's still processing. That was how Nasims frustrated wema bank users. JohnCyrilEfe1: |
I've observed you on this platform and I can say emphatically that you're rude and don't take to corrections. Someone just gave you a reasonable analysis and you're insulting the person. The money you're suppose to have started utilising by now so that you won't have issues servicing the loan. You're here insulting almost everybody whose opinion doesn't go down well with you. Grow up brother and learn from people who are way ahead of you in life. Nairaland is a university on its own. PastorFire: |
Yes ooo... At last. samso247: |
No show yet from wema bank oooo bro. samso247: |
We don't know our crime ooooo. Nasims dey always pay us late. samso247: |
The way this payment is going, it seems everyone will partake in this fail transaction. My January payment failed due to system error. One of my guys using zenith had failed March. Last last nah everybody go partake. samso247: |
Is there any member who has received via wema bank? |
I just received February stipend now. January still processing. Wema bank. |
It seems Sadiya and her people have forgotten about beneficiaries using WEMA BANK. Both January and February still processing. |
It's the same issue with wema bank. I guess they have exhausted the money they have in the meantime. I'm already used to being paid late. I received December stipend March 1st when others had received theirs two weeks earlier. So guys, make unah just comot mind oooo. Whenever the stipends show, it'll still be useful. |
See wahala oooo. You don't know me now. I'm serious bro. It's just that i pay part from salary and whenever Npower shows, i pay the remaining part. At the end of the programme, i want to be sure I've used the money for something concrete. So that's why i collected the loan for the bike. GrammarNazi1: |
Make Npower give themselves brain ooooo.... Make i refund the money wey i borrow use buy bike for easy mobility. |
I'm still hopeful. Wema bank, Niger State. |
These people are really insane. They want to pay January stipend in April. I'm beginning to give up on this country called Nigeria. |
b like say this people Don forget say them never pay ecobank their match stipends o abi na only me remain wen them never pay self
