Please verify your information well brother before informing the public. It is not advisable to pay school fee without successfully completing your registration online. I have said it several times here that you shouldn't pay now until you are done with online registration. It is very easy to pay into FUTA's account but very tough to get back your money when the situation warrants it. I'm telling you all these because I served twice in the student union government and also as a registration expert. Once again, exercise patience in all that you do!

Secondary school
I wouldn't have been too pompous to attend holiday coaching after my JSSCE. I thought since I had the best result I needed no coaching but it affected my performance when I got to SS. Though, I was still a force to reckon with back then.

University
Throughout my stay on campus, I don't think I have any regret because I utilized every opportunity I had in terms of business, school politics and above all, I graduated with second class upper division.

This is one of the bad eggs we have in FUTA and Nigeria as a nation. You better change your mentality because it will hunt you down soon if not eliminate you out-rightly....

You guys should just exercise patience because it's better you do all the registration in school so that you don't start having problems by the time you want to print your course forms..... I'm talking from experience. Don't rush the registration at all.

renting an accommodation off-campus depends on the following factors: 1) nearness to school. 2) self contain/ a room. 3) location- southgate, northgate, ibule, ilara etc. Houses are very cheap in ibule and ilara but I wouldn't advice a fresher to leave in those places because of distance and cost of transportation which is #100 to and fro everyday. At southgate, a room could go for #35,000 - #40,000 while self contain could be #80,000 on the average. At northgate, the prices could be slightly lesser than that of southgate....

I graduated from FUTA this year and I've been doing registration since my 300L days. I'll also be doing registration for freshers and stallites by january. That reminds me, the #83,900 you guys are paying makes everyone a beneficiary of FUTA customized tablet. This is optional for 200L-500L students that's why the management didn't increase stallites' fee. For more information on anything whatsoever concerning FUTA, add me on WhatsApp (08144742324). I don't know why you guys would believe trash coming from some people that know nothing about FUTA. Please visit www.futa.edu.ng for any information concerning school fee. Everything is clearly stated there.... You guys are now undergraduates and you should behave like one by searching for information through the right channel instead of allowing yourselves to be fed with junk information.

To be candid, I really thank God for the school I
passed through (FUTA). When I was an undergraduate, I thought my lecturers to be wicked and callous. I never knew they were actually grooming me for the future.... They have made me a better person.

I'm a student of FUTA (Animal Production and Health) 500L. I chose my course right from day one and I'm not regretting it. If everyone decides to study eng., med., mgt etc... I wonder what we'll eat as citizens. The reason why we are still behind today is that, we depend on peasant farmers to produce our food.

lanrexlan: NO,If you are using school WAEC or NECO,you will need the statement of result from your school.Affidavit is required when you lost your photocard.

. Every fresher will definitely provide an affidavit because it's an oath that you will be of good conduct during your stay on campus. so it's compulsory!

Good job @OP. This is a very good thread. I am a student of animal production and health in 1 of the federal unis, currently on I.T in 1 of d commercial farms in d country. I have really learnt a lot during my I.T. I wil be glad to learn more here and also share the little knowledge I have gained.

Nice idea OP. I think going into commercial farming is a brilliant idea buh the question is," will they b patient enough?" Because majority of our graduates want to earn millions immediately after skull. Agriculture is something you work on with patience, endurance nd consistency.

@op, thank u for bringing up this topic for deliberation. I had a similar xperience recently in skull. There is this 100level female student dat whenever I say hi d nxt thing she wil cough out is "how re u". At first I didn't get offended but later on I stopped greeting her nd one day, she approached me nd asked y I ve nt been responding. I later told her she was rude in her greetings nd she apologised immediately because am far above her level. This is rampant amongs female folks.
