LOL, the change affect every other EU country also, you can backdate the thread 8-10pages back, when bandeco was talking about denmark and sweden. I also heard romania is a cool country..student jobs dey, moderate tuition fees around 3000$-5000$(Not with this new rates oh sad

) and very affordable standard of living, almost the same with poland and hungary. All in All, i still prefer Germany but if you believe the finance needed for Germany processing is gonna be much for ya, then research for others using bachelorsportal.eu and the likes.
My 7blessings; Hope and pray the rates become affordable as at next year. Double your hustle from now.

as at March this year, 2.5M would have done just fine.
But change affect am also, you can't predict next year.. just sit down and Monitor d economy.. and by next year If d rates are favourable, u cn go for it.. if not.. u cn try another lesser Eu country.

Now looking that the 8790€ block account fee alone, with the current exchange rate...don't you think it's even more than the 3.5m? Buhari spoil things for Guys oooo...no be small. A large percentage of Germany Universities have July as deadline for international students. only Rhine-waal and very few others extend beyond this. getting the transcripts out by then, certifying, sending, uniassist processing(if need be). Mehn almost impossible.
If you are lucky to find any school available by the time your transcripts is ready.. Good for you.. that's 10/1000 probability. But anything can happen wink

. Sit and wait till then, or try pushing it out before then!!!

*IELTS money = Around 55k
*Courier fee(lets say 3schools max) =30k, (can be cheaper if you send along with someone in the same parcel, going to the same school, or if you use Nipost, which i won't advise,but it's way cheaper, and u get cheap service with it)
*Uniassist fees(if needed)= 105€ for three schools Rates dependent.
*Blocked account opening(after admission)= 7k Rates dependent tho, prepaid international envelope about 10k more or less, Bank statement showing total sum of 8790€ equivalent in naira with the present rates at that time.
*Visa fee(Varies) =60€ Rates dependent, Prepaid self adressed envelope 1k--4k, depends on ur location.
*Blocked account money: 8790€. Rates dependent
*Flight fee(Varies) : Rates dependent

Miscellaneous : Tfare, Gala and coke money for the road, Recharge card, Photocopy and the likes,Internet, Money to b spent for getting out your transcripts (if need be), Semester fee(if needed for online enrollment), All i can think off for now grin

lol, Boast ke.. Do your interview well, Get one Letter of sponsorship that meets the requirements,know about your sponsor. Answer the prerequisite interview questions very well. Shikina.. if you like carry 5 LOS or use DB join.. if you no convince them undecided

it hasn't gotten to db yet i guess, na yesterday night i receive debit alert.
Its DB statement compulsorily!!!.

How long did it take to get to DB? I've funded mine (Keystone) and I'm currently waiting for the notification from DB, because that's the last thing I need to send to the embassy people. Do you know if they will accept a telex copy or do they need to see the DB statement?

i was debited yesterday, Ecobank. within 7days.Adeola odeku branch, Current account (Was advised to use dis, since i no get savings) if u have existing account with them den u can go on with the savings. 3.2m in total tho undecided

Abeg who has funded his or her account recently. please tell us how u went about it o, cos I'm in a stalemate and I'm presently short of option. Tell us of any recommended bank or branch and any other necessary tips that can fast track the whole process. There's no time again. Cos it will be too bad, if after applying and getting admission, opening blocked account, going for visa interview and raising more than 3 million, the journey gets truncated because of forex wahala. please let's try and help ourselves to surmount this obstacle.

I applied with transcripts showing 1st and 2nd year results.. (2yrs), in calculating ur vpd grade, your first would be used.

lol, Have you tried opening a blocked acct befor? if you have, den i suggest you use d slip and attend d interview ASAP!!!!.. cancel ur blocked acct appointment. u cn open it d next day at d abuja embassy after interview or even d same day.

lol, you don't need to do studienkolleg bro, Just get out your transcripts/Cert, write ielts /toefl.. and apply to Rhine-waal or any other school offering it, most likely winter session.. you'ld be fine cheesy

with your first degree, nothing like studienkolleg anymore fr u.. even 100lv uni transcripts will do d job, unless na your own personal decision.

My friend says i should apply to Studienkollegen with jst my olevels do d 1yr n i will b at C2 level by passing d Fsprufung. But then omitting such info in my studienkolleg form where it is asked is it not a Bad idea? And also d embassy might ASK... Nid ur advice.. N yeah wanna study in deutsch.

As the most sought after destination(owing to its free tuition regime) in Europe for international students ; Germany is getting increasinly tough with their funding system. A strategy to frustrate intending international students and thereby cut their numbers..

Some fee paying western European countries are way cheaper and easier to enter as a student than the so called "free education" Germany.

Yes you can use another person's account(even without same surname, don't jst forget to state the name and relationship) .. 3.5m or above should be d least amnt there to avoid 2nd rejection. and reapply for db after you have done your interview.Godspeed bro!!! wink

My people, I need help o.
I applied for the block account on the 19th of July and got the confirmation leaflet same day. I proceeded to apply for the visa interview and I was scheduled for 23rd Aug (Tuesday).
All this while I have waited for the account details, I was shocked to receive a message on Friday that my account opening wasn’t successful because I didn’t attach the source of funding. The source of fund attachment syndrome started August so how would I have attached source of fund in July.
Am so confused at the moment. I have paid for 4 months accommodation at 300euro per month plus 400 deposit (total 1600 euro & 420naira per euro). I don’t even know how to start again because I am sponsoring myself and I have used almost 700k on accommodation. Totally confused. Can I use a bank detail of someone that doesn’t bear same surname with me to reapply? Like a sponsor.
Please help!!!! My interview is on Tuesday

I went for an introductory session with DAAD and they said you can use a letter from a scholarship body but the organisation has to be credible and also a representative must be present if possible

there are only 3 ways for finance proof.
1- Open a blocked account with deutsch bank and block the sum of 8790€, monthly withdrawal limit of 720€
2- Letter of sponsorship from someone residing and working legally in Germany, the alien office of the person's city would only grant a go ahead if his/her salary is above 2500€ monthly after taxes.
3-Scholarship from an European /German body alone e.g Daad scholarship et al.

your NDDC scholarship letter won't do anything, dem go jst dey look you for embassy like dis shocked

Only way to prolly gain from it, is if the scholarship body tranfers the required blocked account fee to your DB acct after opening. or if dey have any partnership with an European body and transfer it to dem..

it means No!, Ghana can't do, only if you have a Ghanaian residence permit, you can check up other ecowas countries and contact d German consulate dere first
