LMAO@ vicade. Isn't it up to them to either listen or ignore? people are always going to talk. That's the price for being a celebrity.

kellorah:
Lol . .MJ's dad said he had a big nose, not THEY.
True. Besides didn't they all get nose jobs in their family? including the not-so-popular ones? did anybody force them? grin

CelebritiesRe: Who Cares If Omotola Jalade Has Ten Children She Needs to Loose The Weight by chiogo(f): 10:17pm On Oct 18, 2009
@Amaka,  Tyra has always been skinny. She does gain a little weight once in a while but not that big of a deal. But I guess being in the modeling business, people fuss over it.

Mo'nique on the other hand, has always been huge since I started seeing her on TV. Anywayz, we know the truth is bitter. I'm sure she doesn't even agree with herself on what she says on TV. It's all business.  wink

I've never heard Raven say anything about weight but she's my girl  kiss I think her body type is fine. Except when the gut starts sticking out.   embarassed

@Kellorah, you're a hater!!!!  grin grin grin j/k.
I love Omotola though. never noticed the lips thing oo. But then I gave up on naija movies years ago.

I'm sooo lucky.
I'm one of those people who won't be fat, even after 3 kids.
I eat whatever and whenever.

I love my burgers, coke, candies, ice cream and cakes.
However, i try to monitor my sugar and fat intake,
Strictly for health reasons and not cos i'm worried about my weight.
Same here. wink

I eat a lot though, when I can. Don't mind gaining a few pounds. cheesy
CelebritiesRe: Who Cares If Omotola Jalade Has Ten Children She Needs to Loose The Weight by chiogo(f): 9:39pm On Oct 18, 2009
lmao @ topic.

All I can say is that being slim doesn't make you healthy. There are people who are very skinny but eat a lot of junk, coupled with no work-out. While some eat only salad and are far from skinny. Some people are just born thick. And I don't advice anybody to go about killing themselves in the name of working out. Some of these Hollywood celebrities look very sick, with their bones and muscles popping out everywhere.

Anywayz, I think Omotola's body is fine except for the belly. But still, she's no where near obese!! And yes, it is annoying when she's compared with someone and people say she looks better because she's had 4 kids. That's just nonsense. who says the person who hasn't had 4 kids won't still be in shape after doing so? Omotola is free to be whatever she wants. It's her life like Ify said and her hubby sure ain't complaining, why should I?  undecided

LOL just watching Mo'nique say "skinny bitches don't eat EVER!!" Now she's a hater!  tongue

Honeric, you just don't get it.

In Nigeria, you can work your ass off and still not be able to buy a laptop or even get a job to begin with. In America, if you don't have those things, it's not due to lack of opportunity but laziness to take advantage of the opportunity. simple!

These people just like to yarn dust
LMFAO!!! They woulda killed my siblings with their so-called culture. SMH!!!

jextoban:
aint no big deal in dating or marrying a lady older than me .am not surprised at those that said no or never.it shows how immature they re when it comes to love.when you love someone ,age will automatically be a mere factor of numbers. yall need to grow up and handle biz like an adult and stop using culture as a motherfucking excuse.
Oh please. Agreed, it has nothing to do with culture. But saying you can't date or marry someone who's older/younger doesn't make one immature. It's called choice/preference. It's only immature if there's no reason behind it except "culture".

@topic, younger guys?? nah. Ok, I have so many reasons. If he's younger then he'll be in school with me or something and myself, I'm gonna be in school for a LONG time as far as I know. We can't both be in school struggling when it comes to marriage. uh uh.

Again, I like to feel protected and pampered. If he's younger, I'm supposed to be doing the pampering?? oh hell no tongue That's like raising another child.

From experience, some of 'em like to be spoon-fed, some can be very mature for their age. But um, nah. Considering that women age faster than men. That's another factor. I can't be looking like his mother. lipsrsealed

there was a time one of my uncles who we haven't heard from for a long time called and asked for 100,000dollars

we thought it was a joke, but that was just wishful thinking
to cut the long story short, we tried to explain to him abt exchange rate and what not, but he made up his mind to say we are just stingy and told people at home, and spoiled our reputation
anyway just send whatever you can send, they will never be grateful, but in your mind you know u did your best

i dont even have 1000dolars in my acct, but they dont understand, its usually distance relatives that trip like this
LMFAO!!! $100,000?? Even the mayor of my city can't dish out that amount randomly.
I wouldn't see it as spoiling my reputation if that happens, after all I wasn't the one begging. so wetin concern me? lipsrsealed grin

That's good for her.

What's with the doubting? A lot of black people have long hair. sheesh. My hair is even longer than that, NOT tongue

But anyway, I never really took notice of her hair until now.
RomanceRe: I Have Been Certified A Bitch by chiogo(f): 9:16pm On Oct 16, 2009
Hahaha, I will never accept that word even though sometimes, people supposedly say it in a "friendly" way esp. females using the word among each other. My friends use it a lot, I don't really resist it much but when it comes to a guy, then we're gonna have problems. tongue But I know what you mean though.

I just see the word like the n-word. These days a lot of black ppl refer to themselves as "niggas". They claim it's different from "nigger". I just think it's another way of denying defeat i.e. accepting you're one under the guise of calling it something positive. Enough with the rambling - it's ya choice.
Something is ONLY wrong when you use the word(love) deceitfully.

BTW,isn't the B word a synonym for "loose" girls any longer?
Nah, it means SEVERAL things these days. You're a bitch if you don't even agree to sleep with a guy  grin Also for a woman that nags/complains a lot. Not necessarily loose.

But like I said, it boils down to the female and whether or not she decides to accept the label. These days, females tend to accept it. what a damn shame!!
TravelRe: Why Do People Back Home Think Money Grows On Trees Abroad? by chiogo(f): 8:56pm On Oct 16, 2009
I totally agree with Platinumnk. This stuff happens, sometimes not even from family members, like wtf? grin

As for those saying it's due to "show off", that's just fallacy. Where do you go off showing off to someone you haven't had contact with in 10 yrs? seriously, it's so crazy that it's hilarious.
RomanceRe: If You Want Girls To Remain Virgins, You Should Do The Same! by chiogo(f): 8:18pm On Oct 16, 2009
lol Amaka, I think the new title makes more sense. It kinda summarizes the whole content, don't you think?  smiley

And you do write long sentences without paragraphs.  grin grin I do it sometimes too. But this looks better. chill.
RomanceRe: Get Married To A Virgin Or Die Searching! by chiogo(f): 8:11pm On Oct 16, 2009
samtoye:
What the hell is everyone talking abouthuhhuh when did virginity go out of fashion? it is similar to saying, Most Nigerian leaders are thieves, therefore stealing is good and all Nigerian are thieveshuhhuh for those that says virginity is lack of opportunity; don't worry your sisters and your daughters would find plenty opportunities, infact they would take hold of every opportunity until they become opportunist.-Amen.
If abstinence is out of fashion just remember HIV and STDs aren't out of fashion. The only thing i would agree with others is that virginity would not guarantee you a successful marriage but it's a good start. Moral decadence is the order of the day, it's so shameful that some girls have lost count of the number of men they've slept with, they are still counting and they are very proud of it !!!!!! If you think sex would keep that guy tied to you then you are the greatest foooooool!!!!!!!!!!!
Good one. smiley

y me:
but when it comes to a relationship i use the word but i find out that i say that word for saying sakeundecided
i guess LOVE isnt meant for everyone undecided
but that doesnt neccessarily mean you dont care about others smiley
Exactly!!!

I noticed that when people are called the b-word(which in itself is a bad word) a lot, they tend to gradually accept the word and identify themselves as such.
That's just bull, man. Most times, people esp. males call females bitches when the female doesn't conform to their ways. Why would a guy who claims to want you call you a bitch? simple. He's too immature to get it across his head that he's really not wanted. Just like immature guys go about calling their ex-girlfriends bitches whereas prior to the break-up, she was an 'angel'.  tongue

Anywayz, Michelin09, the L word is not by force jare. I too, don't like saying the word  grin except to relatives like my mom, sis, etc.
These days, every TDH uses the L word like it's food. Half of them don't mean it. I'll rather not say it - call me mean/insensitive.
If they pester you too much, just say it for its own sake. undecided
