in that case i must be nasty seeing as i've never shaved my legs
and i dare anyone to call them nasty

while some people fret over shaving or none shaving, she doesnt and i don't see how that singular act (or non-act as the case is) makes her any less of a woman, wife, comedienne or actress.
But do you grow hairs on yours? I knew someone who didn't so no need to shave.

Thank you . . . I tot I was being bias. . . especially as one of the best friends I've made on NL is from the Islands.
Obviously, the U.S. is different from the U.K. If they don't play reggae at the parties there, does it mean it's not recognized? Even U.K. music like rap is not recognized unless the ones with some affiliation with the U.S. It's that simple.

Slow Jamz, Soul and Rythmn & Blues(old skool) are the Genre of music often played in the majority of parties I attend.
Aren't you in the UK? But still, that's weird considering everybody in UK be tryna speak with a Jamaican accent  grin I figured their music would be heavily influenced at the parties.

I'm sure Marley was the whachamacaalit? 'introspective' type. These songs are just buck-wild, fast-paced with loud beats.

What kind of parties do you go to that have Reggae spinning more than hiphop??
Do they also have people with long hair smoking cannabis??  grin grin
Nope, college parties and my school is 'diverse' - Whites, Blacks(Africans, AA's, Caribbeans), Asians all go to these parties.

Trust me I'm very particular about my hip hop music and the majority of the songs played are reggae.

What a thread!!  grin

@poster, I get your point if you're talking of faking accents. So irritating especially when you can't do it right AND have no affiliation whatsoever with the country whose accent you're imitating.

But when it comes to videos, I say go right ahead, Naija music videos as well as home videos tend to have very poor quality, poorly organized so if they wanna emulate Americans, sure why not? And don't tell me they incorporated the nudity from American and Jamaican videos because people wore less clothing in the olden days in Nigeria.

@the argument between Mzdarkskin, Eldee, and co. . . .I'll say that Jamaican music is appreciated in America mostly by youths. Reggae is played more at parties than Hip hop music, it's a fact. But American music generally tops the charts, why? America likes to be on top of everyone else.
Hehehe don't emulate me Ma'am i am not a role model  cheesy

The Bobcats don't suck they are actually an excellent defensive team they just suck on offense whereas the Nets just SUCK. The Bobcats beat the Lakers and are only team with a winning record against the Cavs if i where you i would be praying they meet in the playoffs and take them to a 7 game series or even do them strong thing like Golden State did to us in 07. Playoff basketball is all about matchups

Michael Finley used to be a baller ooh! Like in the 18th century lol he's an ex-Mav though and was what Dirk is to us now back in them days when i was not yet a Mav fan i saw a bit of him before he left for the Spurs after the 05 season. He plays Small Forward so he should be backup for Sister Paulina and Marquis Daniels
Neither am I. Trust me, I'm not emulating you. cheesy
How long ago did they beat the Cavs? I don't see how likely that is to happen again. But if they can rid us of the Cavs, cool. one less trouble.

If today wasn't Sunday ehn, Sister Paulina, really? And I was on your side. embarassed

How can you compare the Nets to the Bobcats? Hehe i am against underaged smoking oh. They are the only team in the East that have actually manhandled the Cavs plus they beat the Lakers last night! Do you know that if the Nets don't win at least 4 more games they would be tied with the worst team in NBA History lol go and read what they are trying to do to sell tickets! my cousin at Delaware Uni has more people watching their school games than the Nets @ IZOD center

One more thing whats with these NBA players on a bucketlist you Celts keep signing? Michael Finley? Hehehe he is only 37 years young
Ah ah, I don't watch either team when they're not playing with the Celtics but I hear they suck, mostly. Just tryna compare. Under-aged smoking? Were you of age when you started spliffing it up?  tongue

Beating the Lakers doesn't make 'em good nau. The Nets also beat the Celtics. It be'z like that sometimes for great teams but it's the end result that matters. Winning one pointless game won't take 'em to the playoffs.  grin

Ok, so I guess I know who's better now. Michael who? They just like these senior citizens, I dunno why.  embarassed
Ya Mavericks seem to be on a roll.
EducationRe: Wonder Twins Head For High School Aged Nine by chiogo(f): 5:02am On Mar 07, 2010
LOL @ Sagamite and Gators.

I'm gonna agree with Sagamite though. A 14-yr old in college, especially if living on campus is just plain awkward. For one, most of your classmates would have at least 4 years on you. No matter how mature one looks and acts, the age difference will still be very conspicuous. 16 or 17 is "okay" even though most college freshmen in America are 18.

No, she's actually the girl Akon molested "last time". That was when those pics came out.
It's hard to believe she's 14 though but it's possible, just her dressing is slutty. But then she didn't leave home like that, according to the rumors.
