[quote author=JONNYSPUTE post=111814400]... Trash. Enugu East have ruled The state three times and if another person from there should be made a govonor again then it will be the fourt time. Same with Enugu north. Both the east and north has completed twice each. Enugu west have had only Sullivan Chime. So Ndi Enugu should have sense and allow the west to have a second shut at the lion building. [/quote PleaseI am lost here. Thought Ono was from Ngwo in Udi LGA of Enugu west. Please clarify me. |
The governors will produce the next president and I doubt if Tinubu will be their choice. History shows that the kingmakers always pick somebody they can influence and not somebody they are afraid of. |
Qtsnow:This shows that the young people are not willing to be caged, frustrated and pushed out of the system after milking their youthful energies. They can be on their own and be making your annual salary in a month. Some undergraduates these days are richer than bankers that have worked for over 10 years. Bank managers can hardly afford the cars and lifestyle some of them live. Banks and many companies are now finding it difficult to find workers. They should look into their staff welfare as soon as possible to avoid the danger that looms as per Shortage of manpower. Many are resigning and people are not willing to join |
benjackugo:Unfortunately, in most states, once you are a graduate and a notorious cultist, you are there. Their career path goes like this: Cultist, tug,TA/SA, SSA, coordinator, chairman, commissioner/ House of assembly member, House of rep, senate/minister-governor. |
JONNYSPUTE:Some of these loans run for 10 to 20 years in some cases. Elechi managed Ebonyi resources well. Umahi didn't inherit much debts. It is the next Ebonyi governor that will suffer what Umahi is borrowing now. He will be struggling to service the loans and pay salaries while Umahi will be seen as a saint. For how much debt inherited by Ugwuanyi, I think Google can be of help |
JONNYSPUTE:I hope you know that Enugu state is made up of old Nsukka and old Enugu zones. I also hope the Nsukka you are referring to is not Nsukka LGA but old Nsukka zone, comprising of Nsukka, Uzo Uwani, Udenu, Igbo-Eze South, Igbo-Etiti, isi-uzo and Igbo-Eze north LGAs. Ugwuanyi is from Udenu and not Nsukka Note that the old Nsukka zone is bigger than the old Enugu zone both in landmass and population. Google can be of help to you. In terms of development, I believe the current government is doing well considering what was inherited. No doubt, the past administration did well but note that they had more resources and borrowed heavily for those roads. I think one of the challenges of the current government is struggling to repay the loans with the meagre resources and at the same time being faced with the challenge of maintaining those delapidating infrastructures that their loans are still being serviced. I am not making excuses for them either. |
Efe42:The same way you are screwing her at her father's back, meanwhile her father still believes his daughter is a virgin, is how others will roughhandle her in Imo state while you are there professing love and trust. Karma is real! |
Candidlady:Continue deceiving yourself. Clock is ticking fast and had I known always come last |
ELgordo:Stop shouting my town's name like that. The town is too peaceful and sweet to be sceamed like that. Be guided! |
UstazAhmed:For me to be your friend, you must be friendly with me. You can't be treating me like an enemy and insist we must be friends. If we are fair to every Nigerian, I think we don't need need to be worried about being one. The loyalty will come naturally. You should be reminding us that Nigeria must be one by being fair to all and not treating some as Kings and others as slaves. If you do this, loyalty will come naturally. |
Nigga44:Google is your friend |
Nigga44:I hope you know that Enugu west has just about 10 % of Enugu state population. Enugu north has over 60% while Enugu east has about 30%. With their population and one man squad, how do you think they can win |
frankIzuchukwu:The rotation is between the three federal rep zones which are: 1. Nsukka & Igboeze-south 2. Igbo-Eze north & Udenu 3. Igbo-Etiti & Uzo Uwani They produced the following senators respectively 1. Okoro Fidelis 2. Ayogu Eze 3. Utazi Utazi is currently doing for Igbo-Etiti & Uzo Uwani. Next will come from Nsukka & Igbo-Eze South, which Igbo-Eze South will produce, as Nsukka had taken their turn before. |
northvietnam:Your ignorance is annoying. Please visit Google if you don't know about Enugu state. Enugu has seventeen LAS with six in Enugu North senatorial zone, having over 60% population and land mass of Enugu state. Ezeagu and Oji river have the least population among the 17 LAS. Be guided! |
Please remind the governor that heat wants to kill us in Afikpo. No electricity since he came to power in 2015. I wonder if it is a deliberate attempt to put Afikpo on a reverse gear in terms of development. Before he came, Afikpo had five commercial banks. Now, only three remain and more will leave too. He has rendered the economy of Afikpo to near zero. Ebonyi state is not only Abakaliki and Uburu, his village. The only new thing in Afikpo is the substandard concrete roads that are tearing tyres anyhow. Destroying road built by Julius Berger and reconstructing it with substandard concrete roads. He needs to visit Rivers to see quality projects and not death trap substandard concrete roads, flyovers, buildings and disco lights. #restoreafikpolight |

Hmmmm! Just for the over hyped sex. Sex is actually overrated. I still regret each time I indulge in it. There is nothing special or sweet there that warrants what people do just to have it. |
Sebastine1994:You would have started by telling us your village, let's compare which one is more developed. Some that their villages will not develop like Nsukka in the next 1000 years will still be talking down on Nsukka |
See what reaserchers in other countries are inventing and our professors here are inventing UTAS - how to be collecting multiple salaries from the same employer |
I hope she came out to protest, not hiding behind her keyboard and inciting the guys to their early grave. Guys be wise! Do not allow anybody to use your brain. Let her come out and lead while you follow. They will be enjoying and instigating in their homes while you put your life on the line. Yet, they will take the glory after everything. Nwoke lucha ogu, nwanyi enwere okuko |
laidima88:Fear women, they think one way. They do not consider the implication of their actions before acting. At the end, how many of them lost their lives? They were behind their keyboards instigating guys to their early graves and now they have come back to their senses. Nwoke lucha ogu, nwanyi enwere akuko. |
Superjazz:What of other security agencies or civil servants that do not even have housing talk more of dilapidated ones. Their pay is not poor compared to other security forces and civil servants in the country. A graduate entry level in police (ASP) as at today is collecting close to 300k monthly and you are saying they are not well paid. How much do their counterparts in other sectors in Nigeria get? Maybe less than 150k The solution is just to end Nigeria once and for all |
New Police Salary Structure as at now . 1. Police Constable (PC) II - N84,000 2. Police Constable (PC) I - N86,000 3. Sergeant Copral (SC) - N96,000 4. Sergeant Major (SM) - N119,000 5. Inspector Of Police (IP) II - N167,000 6. Inspector of police (IP) I - N254,000 7. Assistant Superintendent of police (ASP) II - N271,000 8. Assistant Superintendent of police(ASP) I - N296,000 9. Deputy Superintendent of police (DSP) - N321,000 10. Superintendent of Police (SP) - N342,000 11. Chief Superintendent of police (CSP) - N419,000 12. Assistant Commissioner of police (ACP) - N483,000 13. Deputy commissioner of police (DCP) - N531,000 14. Commissioner of police (CP) - N1.5million. I hope no policeman will collect 20 Naira again and Bail will be free! This was the last increment around 2018 yet it didn't stop anything. |
ASUU should be smart enough to see the hand writing on the wall. For some of their members to enroll at all is a great danger to their association. They should call for a truce now, else ASUU will be greatly polarized. FG has succeeded in using divide and rule to scatter them. Soon those receiving salaries will have their own association and start lectures. ASUU will not be able to stop them. ASUU should swallow their pride and tell everybody to enroll and call off the strike immediately to save their union from being polarized. He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day! |
I still cannot understand how an employee should be mandating his employer on the method through which his salary should be paid. I think the best thing for an employee is to look elsewhere if he is no longer ready to play by the rules of his employer than dictating to his employer how he must be treated. |
Thiwalade:I am a man. Not necessarily that we do not like what we produce but we always produce inferior things. We like cutting corners. I heard that Nigerian cables are more preferred due to it's high quality. If you invent a quality thing that makes economic sense and ready to solve societal problems, even private companies - local and international will be running after you. Sponsorship will not be your problem. Our people keep demanding for research grants as if they want to invent heaven on earth, at the end the money will be used for luxury. The old Scientists we know today, who gave them research grants? I know many lecturers that used their research grants to build houses. They collected millions from the FG for research and used the money to build their personal houses. |
Thiwalade:What is the impact of your so called research? With the number of professors here we still import ordinary tooth pick, yet they corner billions as research grants. They spend the grants on houses and cars, at the end they will coauthor journals and copy other people's research works. With the money FG has spent on research grants and foreign scholarships in this country, we suppose to be self sufficient in many things by now. |
I think the bulk of the budget should go to primary and secondary education and they should be free and compulsory. Tertiary education should be privatized. After your qualitative secondary education, if you can afford tertiary education then you attend. If not, the qualitative secondary education can still take you to places. Aside the professional courses, the university education these days are over rated. Professors everywhere with little or no contribution to the solution of our problems and they keep wasting the time of our youths in the name of strikes. No new inventions. Recycling handouts year in year out and be demanding for the whole resources for themselves alone. Is there any sector that is not underfunded in this country? Nigerian primary school teachers are also among the least paid and they contribute more than ASUU in the society. Yet they are more dedicated |
Gval123:I wish our input would also be required in their decision making or governance after the elections. When it is time for election, they will remember the masses to come and die for them and after swearing them in, it will be only them, their family and the cabals |
I wish politicians will be gathering us like this before taking any action or making policy on anything. They only gather us when the need our votes and after swearing in, our input in governance is not needed again. It will be only them, their family members and cabals. May he get well soon. |
ThatFairGuy1:Yet to hear US or UK sanctions against Wike |
WonderManly:Unfortunately PDP doesn't have a candidate. APC fielded candidates in the two parties and it is a win win for APC. |
