BIAFRONIGERIAN: For your mind, you have captured NASS. The crises witnessed in the NASS was just for 2019 individual ambitions. Now the primaries are over, Saraki, Kwankwaso, etc are back to their base. They would rather work for Buhari in order to give the presidency a trial in the next four years than supporting Atiku and wait for eight years. Didn't you notice how Saraki just passed all the bills he has been sitting on within two sittings? Keep deceiving yourself 1 Like |

BIAFRONIGERIAN: You think Atiku can restructure Nigeria? Restructuring is a constitutional mater that requires NASS amending the constitution. All he can do is just to send the bill to the NASS and to ascent to it when passed. The bulk lies with the NASS. I hope you know there is such a bill currently in the NASS, which they have been sitting on all this while and people like you believe that it's Buhari that is stopping restructuring 1 Like |

You were dealing with us, the poor masses, now is your turn to be dealt with. PMB will collect back all our assets you shared among yourselves. You guys should better start returning them because he will surely win the 2019 election. Ota farm, oil wells, foreign assets, laundered money, etc must surely return. You are ganging up against him so you can continue enjoying the stolen assets. Mbanu! Anyi amarala ihe ugbua. |

They were enjoying alone but today they too are experiencing what the poor has been passing through alone for decades in this country. See them running here and there. It never start o. He will deal with you all in his second term. For the poor, they don't need to fear. He who is on the ground fears no fall. 3 Likes |

Instead of me to vote for these wolves in goat clothing, I will give my vote to PMB again. He might not be good enough but at least I see sincerity and the zeal to make Nigeria great in him. Forget the noise, I am yet to be disappointed by PMB. With our reserve growing from 28 billion to now 42 billion and massive work going on in our major high ways: Enugu - Onitsha and Enugu-PH inclusive, my love for PMB keeps increasing. The way our treasury looters are crying now makes him love him more. I never knew they can cry too. Wow! They really showed pepper. Those touts made politics to be an occupation and thank God PMB came. Many of them have been sent to the farm where they can be useful |

I have successfully transferred my pooling boot to my new location in Ebonyi state and come rain come shine, BUHARI will have my vote. adezjamz: Don't mind them. They are holding it just to frustrate the FG from embarking on projects, so they can label it as a failure at the end. They are afraid that with the early passage of the budget, the FG would win the heart of the electorates with the massive infrastructural development. For this, they want to frustrate them by all means. |

Booby88: Keep deceiving and giving yourself hope. I don't know why it's difficult for some to see the political permutations clearly. I hope many will not commit suicide after 2019 elections. The exit of Atiku just made the APC's chance in 2019 brighter. He was a major contributing factor to the problems of APC since this administration. He was wearing the badge of APC and working for the PDP. He was instrumental to the emergence of Saraki and Ekweremadu. He has also been a major factor to the legislature - executive friction which lead to late passage of budgets and executive bills just to discredit the executive. Now he is gone and is seen as an enemy, APC will be able to work freely. Saraki now works freely with the executive unlike before. His actions recently in using his veto power testifies to this. Saraki cannot join PDP again, as Atiku moved before him and both had the same interest - presidential ticket. Saraki would prefer staying back in APC with hope of coming back as the senate president to going to struggle for PDP ticket with Atiku. Be wise politically! |

It's not enough to tell us that you will build roads, provide electricity and even build homes for everybody; but tell us how you will achieve these. How would you get the funding? How would you diversity? How would you increase your IGR without over taxing the indigenes? What would you do to improve the standard of education and not just that you will pay more attention. You will provide security, how? 2 Likes 1 Share |

At a time many states, including the Niger Delta states, cannot pay salaries, Obiano is not owing a single month and he is still embarking on capital projects. None of the orators told us how they will execute their plans. Those were only empty promises. Don't be deceived by long grammar. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

chiedu7: Please wake up! Stop dreaming! You can visit Syria for a refreshment course. They thought that destroying the country will force their president out. The last time I checked, almost everybody there is now a refugee while Bashar al-Assad is still their president. PMB is only indirectly affected by this rubish. We, including the militants are bearing the brunt of this economic sabotage directly. PMB enjoys uninterrupted power supply while we keep living in darkness. Why did they just realised what they want? They forgot that they were being marginalised when their brother was the president. It just shows clearly that their mission is to create artificial economic crisis, thereby inciting the masses against the President, so they could use the opportunity and come back to finish Nigeria in 2019. God forbid bad thing! |

ogba20: Have you ever gone through our previous national & states budgets before. If you do, you will find that this budget is one of the most transparent & decent one. Before now, the legislature used to be a rubber stamp to the executive as it is in most states today. Anything the executive gives them, they pass it, so far their share is contained in it. Though I don't support the budget padding, as done to rubbish PMB by GEJ apologists in the budget office, the NASS is only delaying the passage just to reach a compromise wt PMB as regards to the corruption charges against their leader. They should weed the "padded budget" fast & pass it for PMB to hit the ground running. Enough of this delay please. |

crownwealth: Receive sense! How can Mr president hit the ground running without a budget? Your fellow looters in the national assembly are holding the budget to create an impression that PMB's government is a failure. I blame the over ambitious Saraki for this. Almost all the governors have their 2016 budgets passed and the NASS are holding the entire country to a ransom for their selfish political interests. We can only experience change when the budget is passed. |

Politics / Re: Fayose To Buhari: Devalue Naira Now, Forex Policy Short-changing Nigerians by chiol: 8:02pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
I think the governor should first increase the minimum wage before telling our dear president to devalue naira, so civil servants will not bear the brunt. He should start looking inwards to take the advantage of this to better the economy of his state. Let him start investing in local goods. Previous devaluations never helped us, instead our situation worsened. Once you devalue, let say 300 naira to a dollar, the parallel market price will jump to about 600 to a dollar. So, how long should we continue with the devaluation? I think FG should even go ahead and close all the domiciliary accounts. Every account should be naira denominated. If you want to import, you must do that through the CBN. They will convert your naira and wire it to your customer overseas, provided the item is in our import list. That way, they should be able to monitor imports and the use of dollars. If you choose to go and buy from the parallel market, it will be useless as you can't pay it into any account directly. 5 Likes |

DankemzI: You must be a daft for not knowing the reasons for the state of our economy. Do a research on the state of the economy of the oil dependent countries now. Ours is the worst because we stole our future when others were investing and saving for theirs. Note that PMB will not suffer the crises like you. It's you that will bear the brunt. Mugabe is enjoying while tissue paper is of more value than his country's currency. His salaries and allowances will keep coming, no matter what. Therfore, let's pray for our dear country, so that people like you will not die of hunger. |
