PoliticsRe: Rochas Orders Security To Beat-Up Anyanwu For Using Siren by chiswaggs: 1:19pm On Dec 28, 2012
If only one could get a neutral eye witness account of the story. The two stories look different. However, if the senators account is true, then Rochas acted wrongly. For the mere fact that the senator is still in office, even if she breaks the siren law, there is a way to treat a serving senator from your party and make her comply with the law without harassing her. Now, if Rochas's side of the story is true which I don't believe cos I don't see how she(chris) would have asked her naval officers to open fire on the Governor's convoy, then something has to be done quickly. All the same, we still need an eye witness account of the 'true story'. If this is true, then Rochas has to watch it so that he does not soil his good name and spoil his chances of one day ruling Nigeria

OsunOriginal: And these are the Igbos some people are saying we should consider for VP in the event of merger. I have said it again and again, Igbos should NOT be given any consideration in the proposed merger - they wont add any value. They should be isolated and put where they belong - south east bush.

It would be nice to see photos of that town as well and how (under)developed it remains despite having one of Time magazines most influential men on earth.

That's why humans are advised to think b4 talking. Adeboye is not from Kwara

Jakumo: Awww how touching. And there I was sulking in the corner and thinking that nobody loved me. Your words of affection give me that warm fuzzy feeling deep in my soul, reminiscent of my emotions right after I have handed over another of my monthly paychecks to Pastor Eunuch Adejale to fuel his luxury jet, but before I again realise that my entire family will go hungry just so I can glorify my ANOINTED Holy Shepherd with cash.

Well then, Deep Soul, assuming you are an anatomically correct woman unmodified by cosmetic surgery, can we now go over the specifics of our first date ? Unless you object, I was hoping we could meet up in my rusty 1972 Volkswagen beetle on the Lagos Expressway, during one of those bi-monthly 24-hour gridlocks caused by the traffic of Pastor Eunuch's vehicular mega-herd. We would have PLENTY of time to get to know one another in that romantic setting, and assuming we are not shot dead by armed robbers or kidnapped out of our love-nest by ritualists during the night, that encounter just might turn out to be the beginning of a timeless story that our odd-looking grandchildren will one day gather at our feet to enjoy.
if only u even knew the man's name. Its Enoch not Eunuch.

SEFAGO: So how exactly does your God knock people down with love? Fake pastor probably using church proceeds now to send his children to private schools while admonishing someone online angry. I can't wait for any reward I am going to get- if there is a God then he has a lot to answer for from me. Call me arrogant, but that is just me
if there is a God? In one week time you will know that there is a God.
PoliticsRe: Adeboye And RCCG Constructs Feeder Roads In Lagos And Ogun State by chiswaggs: 5:40am On Dec 12, 2012
Jakumo: Horrendous 24-hour duration traffic gridlocks created by Pastor Eunuch's followers have cost numerous lives on the Lagos Expressway, so it is a good thing that the high-flying fleecer of the flock has FINALLY decided to address that abuse of a public highway, after a quarter century of contentedly creating vehicular mayhem twice a month.

So yeah, it would be a VERY personal ordeal indeed, for anyone who knows what it is like to be trapped in their car for a whole phucking day and night, at the mercy of armed robbers, just because some shyster pastor thinks he owns a federal highway such that he can shut it down at will.
It takes an annointed man for God to use to draw that kind of crowd. Instead of hating why not repent and stay in the place of prayer?

Chief Obasanjo and MTV Base VJ Vanessa Mdee on MTV Base Meets With MTN

by Akan Ido

Politician, ex-soldier, farmer, and two-time former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, will be featured on MTV Base Meets with MTN.

Chief Obasanjo met with MTV Base VJ Vanessa Mdee and a group of ambitious and passionate young people at his home in Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria in June 2012 as part of the MTV Base Meets… with MTN mentorship and youth empowerment initiative, which connects thought leaders and influencers with young people.

The former president had inspirational words for the young members people on the interview panel. He advised them to find their area of competence in life and maintain focus so as to achieve success.

He said, “You must make up your mind what you want out of life. That thing that you have chosen, you must never give up. Whatever your hands and your head find to do: do it with all your might!”

In retirement, the former president keeps himself busy with a flourishing farming business and still finds time to act as an UN envoy, and play an active part in the African Leadership Forum (ALF), the not-for-profit organisation designed to help improve the quality of leadership in Africa while at the same time helping to train the next generation of leaders for the continent.

Other topics to be covered by Chief Obasanjo include the value of education, pivotal moments in his life, the joy he found during his time in prison (where he grew maize for all the inmates), and his love of dancing and music – particularly Bob Marley!

The programme premieres on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 and terrestrial stations across the continent, including STV, Nigeria.

I mean if you know aw an institution is and you still apply 4 it then you should be ready to live by its dictates or face the punishment for not doing so. I fnk its that simple.
PoliticsRe: The Media Is An Opposition Dominated Industry by chiswaggs: 8:29am On Dec 05, 2012
Did I hear sombody say Akpabio is being left out of the news? I don't think this is true because I don't know of any other gov that is more talked about than Akpabio, Fashola and Rochas and these governors are from PDP, ACN and APGA respectively. So rather than call it an opposition dominated media, I'll prefer we call it a madia with a more level playing field which is a movement away from what was obtainable before. Now it is if you work, you'll find yourself in the news and I think this is a welcome development or is it not?
PoliticsRe: Should Buhari Contest For Presidency Again In 2015? by chiswaggs: 6:48am On Dec 05, 2012
I think this man's time has passed. We keep calling children the leaders of tomorrow and I wonder, which tomorrow? Is it the tomorrow the leaders of today still want to rule. I mean, when he was the right age he ruled this nation. Its owkay lets move on. We've gone beyond his time. We need a young, vibrant actively working Nigerian that knows the indices of development in the modern world and that knows what it takes to move a nation foward in this generation to lead us. Countries that have old presidents/ prime ministers are gradually removing them . Recently an african country that had a president of about 80 yrs or there about voted him( even though he was the imcumbent out of power). Look at Obama and Romney's ages. What's wrong with young performing governors like Akpabio, Fashola or Rochas Okorocha ruling us. He had an opportunity to change this country and his supporters will say he tried his best. Is he the only one with idea on how to move this nation foward? Let him also give other people a chance.

I mean, any club that spends good money on a player wants to get its returns. Its quite frustrating for a coach to have a player he thinks is fit unavailable for selection. His comments show that he doubts if Osaze is actually not fit.
