Derz bad nuz everyweh. No good nuz? May God protect and keep us all. The wicked must really be afraid at such a point in time. This is no time to gamble with your eternity. Give your life to Christ today so that if anything happens you'll be on the safe side. A word is enough for the wise.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Destroys Slums In Lagos, Leaving Thousands Homeless by chiswaggs: 11:53pm On Mar 03, 2013
Neo-XVI:
They should have "offered them something" BEFORE making them homeless, not after. What are they supposed to do in the meantime? All these is because they are missing the central point: these people are humans, not dogs.
And Fashola should work with the legislature to make it illegal for landlords to demand more than 1 month rent in advance, as is done all over the world. That will help reduce the homelessness. The whole paying for 2, 3 years ish is totally absurd and makes housing more difficult to afford. They don't pay workers 2, 3 years salaries in advance, why should landlords demand that? It makes no sense. It's just greed.
I agree wif ur point on the way they were being treated, but on the issue of 1 month advance, even 1 year advance, sha, if you are a Landlord you'll undastand. If you consider aw much goes into erecting a property and how much d Landlords collect as rent, you'll see therz not much gain.

EducationRe: Policemen Threaten To Shoot & Arrest UNIABUJA Students by chiswaggs: 10:32pm On Feb 18, 2013
Wsdm: ... Not only accreditation, they went ahead to organize exams for the remaining students. There are so many questions here. Where is th SUG of the school? Why is students from other tertiary institutions in the country not in solidarity with these students? Nigeria leaders have taken us for granted because we behave as coward. Do you even know that some students of the school went to write their exams neglecting the plight of the other students? If not only in Nigeria, how is the accreditation of these courses suppose to be the fault of these students?
So because some students don't have accreditation odaz should not write dier exams. What do you mean? Is it the fault of d oda students that engineering is not accredited? Its just like saying because Abia does not have light we should cut off power supply from oda states. Abeg park well jorh.

lomzy1: God bless u my brother. This Is d most reasonable post so far. Some ppl on nairaland don't comprehend whatever they read before they start posting. Imagine someone saying "proudness" (gbagaun). Wetin person no go see and hear for nairaland.
Am a yoruba guy and I felt so sad when I heard some yoruba guys talking abt how keshi didn't pick any yoruba boy to afcon. This is exactly why ,Nigeria has not moved forward. D silly quota system or whatever it is called. Why don't we get ppl who cld do whatever we want to do best. Keshi selected d best players he felt could give him d best performance. If they were all yoruba. Would any yoruba have complained? If keshi fails its not because he didn't go to SA with yoruba or more hausa guys.
God bless my soul. Today I've found sum1 I'm on the same page with. It means Nigeria is moving foward.

SportsRe: 6 Governors To Watch Eagles Against Mali by chiswaggs: 9:11am On Feb 05, 2013
But these governors dem get sense oh. Why did they have to wait for Nigeria to beat Cote d Ivoire before going?
SportsRe: 6 Governors To Watch Eagles Against Mali by chiswaggs: 9:08am On Feb 05, 2013
Nigerians are the hardest people to manage. Some days ago on Nairaland, some people were saying that all other countries sent top government functionaries to sit with Isa Hyatu in the stadium but Nigeria did not and that that was why Nigeria suffered from poor officiating. Now six Governors have decided to go, people on Nairaland are still complaining. Thats just btw.
In my own opinion, I don't think SIX governors need to go so that the pressure will not be too much on the eagles. Rather, Akpabio, Rochas and sum1 like Orgi Uzo Kalu who we all know is passionate about sports should go and motivate these boys. Thats my own view.

Donmams: We will all know the truth in 2015. Nigerians unfortunately have no choice but to vote for Buhari who will investigate all these fools and send them to jail for 100 years.
have no choice? You and I know Buhari CANNOT rule this nation again. Never. Its time we said goodbye to all this old hands that have eaten from the same pot. We need a breath of fresh air. And mind you, not Jonathan's type.
PoliticsRe: The Delusions Of Today’s Men: Femi Fani-Kayode Replies Reuben Abati by chiswaggs: 10:41am On Feb 04, 2013
It seems the prayers of helpless Nigerians have begun to knock on heaven's gate and gain God's attention. They've begun to eat themselves raw in public. Someone stood on a pulpit and said and I paraphrase 'Nigeria, evil men shall not rule you again'. That was a man most Nairalanders don't really like sha but today it seems that prayer is coming to pass. As see this as the dawning of a new day. A new era. Enough is enough. God bless Nigeria.

I know this is not the right place to write this but please you must forgive me. For all those Messi apologists who feel he is the most humble person they have never met, they might do themselves some good to google up Messi/ arbeloa/ s*tupid. They myt also do themselves some good to google up messi/ karanka/ puppet. Im just suprised the news is not everywhere because if it was Ronaldo that did the same thing or even less, by now the news would av gone viral. Messi must indeed be very "humble".

Anubiri: Na y mikel miss penaltyhuh? Nonsense people
Which people are nonsense?
Messi missed a penalty against Chelsea in a more important match than this. Last year African Cup of Nations final, Drogba missed a penalty anc datz why Zambia won. ronaldo missed a penalty against Bayern, Gyan missed a penalty that prevented Ghana from becoming the first African team in the world cup quater finals, he came back home to Africa and still missed another important pk. Who does not miss penalties? Here we are not talking about who missed penalties or not but rather bad officiating and the fact that for the past two matches we've been on the receiving end of bad calls by referees.

Ijogz K: Gay Oshi!!! If u get se.xually aroused by ordinary music videos den u av a problem and need medical attention. Even R13 muvees in d USA now have scenes with nudity..

You Berra wake up from the 19th century kinda ideas, people like u are d ones making Naija a backward nation
So the only way for us to move foward as a nation is to encourage unclothedness? Who does not get aroused by certain suggestive dances, lyrics and nude scenes except that person is impotent. When miracles were banned on tv nobody cried foul. Now some videos have been banned 'some people' see it as a sign of backwardness? I can almost bet you're a "christian". God help us.
