I don't really give a kobo about the programme but for those that talk about education not given priority over entertainment should listen to this. Just now, a senior colleague of mine just came into town from Hague and has being in Abuja for years before. She saw one of our staff that acts in one of the series on ebony life. She started taking selfies with him to show people at home that she knows him. Another of my senior colleagues is an associate prof and she only congratulated him with a very scanty handshake. I started thinking about it that even as a learned person she is, she aligned with the entertainment individual than the academician. That is the world we live in now. To me, education drives this world but entertainment keeps the world going. |
Nepa just did thé worst am not powering on any generator this night God knows. Guys where can this game be streamed? Thank God for power bank. |
femi4:May your days be long. Okin shortcake best. Especially the one that is burnt a bit. MAde in iyeru-okin in Offa by Adesoye companies. |
where is short cake? Okin biscuit made in Offa. |
Moment you see Ashley young. Smalling and Jones on the pitch, the game is lost. |
Cromcruach91:Did you read the news last year how many billions jamb remitted into the account of the govt? And it was said that was the first time in years it ever happened. You should have asked the previous administration what happened. Probably nobody wrote jamb under good luck admin. Truth is this admin might not be performing up to expectations but it is one million miles better than that Jonathan led own. If no better candidate runs come 2019, I will prefer to vote 76 year old buhari. I can never thumb my print for anyone that has something to do with that Jonathan led administration. |
IamPatriotic:Please send me your account details ma/sir. I need to make your weekend with this epic reply. Cheers. |
olaric:You are a wise man that has a very great historical knowledge of events in this country. That was the OBJ's game plan in 2003 to win over most states for PDP. He absolutely almost robbed the whole south-west off except for Lagos state. It was a grand master plan by him and no one challenged him back then. Obj had all the omini-factors within his power to have turned Nigeria into a better country. The opposition and level of god-fatherism then was very infinitesimal. He was the origin of most of the problems this country is going through. He is the reason for this inflated allowances and salaries of the national house of assembly members and so on. He had too many selfish motives more than the ones for the country as a whole. He should just join the retirees group and be receiving his pension as well. |
Restructuring is the way out but the senators from other regions are only concerned about their pockets so they don't give a kobo about who wins the presidency as far as they are elected back and their allowances keep dropping. Same thing when the Easterners were agitating for Biafra but their national assembly reps were not saying anything. What do you expect? The numbers favour these northerners when is comes to the general elections. How many Southerners will release their kids to go and vote? I pray things get better. |
As for me, this is the bomb. C230 best. Especially the sport. Very precise and swift. The C300 manual is massive too but this guy down there is the sharpest for me.
|
ettybaba:Don't you think if Obama had done very well it would have bn a smooth ride into the white house for Hillary Clinton? The same way you are applauding Obama from a distance but hated by some Americans is the same way part of the outside world sees buhari as a good guy. Until you are under a govt in that country, you wouldn't know what the average citizen is going through. |
One is trying to build an empire with or without the father's or family's support. I will always give credit to his likes. Alima Dangote and sisters are there too making waves unlike the so many prodigal sons of most billionaires in this country who all they do is party, sleep and wake up on social media pages. And here is one Feyi Fawehinmi trying to pull the guy down with fact that might be right or wrong. Checked his profile though, what do you expect from an analyst? Met with many of the Paddy Adenuga type and boy, they are rare. |
DUTCHDON:Like Deziani Allison abi? Private firms have rules and policies that's why it is difficult for most of their staff to manipulate the system. that said even most of the so called staff are the ones working hands in hands with these oil bunkers. Our system is weak, polluted and porous. |
olabrad:One thing I worship God and secondly you wake up. Do you know there are proclaimed NGOs. Like I said those two women up there are two out of many and these two are being celebrated so give thumbs up to them. You think Okocha is the most skillful Nigerian footballer? Obviously no but limelight has shone on him and when he's bn talked about people celebrate him. Those are two beautiful women affecting their generations positively. They are still better than the bad guys influence mothers out there. |
BushWickBill:Let me give u an insight. Growing up I was thought how to tithe, sow seeds and give my offerings. Till date I still do. Talking about success in life, with the help of God and I say again GOD, I can boldly raise my hands every time when successful people are called upon. And that's the same way I raised my kids as well. Talking about intellectual abilities, boy my worth in different coys outside the normal shareholder title is worth more than you can phantom in terms of intellectual property assets. If you put your brain to work and task up to 20% of what I use mine for in over 50 years, you will drip blood from your nostrils. Let those that believe in something do freely without you interfering. |
BushWickBill:I just did again bloke. |
BushWickBill:Laffssss. Now you know right? There is reason why positions are awarded in classrooms. Everyone is a student but there are the distinct ones. Just like your parents are distinct training you and educating you. Up north are some parents fighting western education. So that yours supported you makes them one of the best out there and the best for you. I know you celebrate them and I celebrate them for you too. |
BushWickBill:Poverty mindset. May you be rich in life I pray God for u. And with your wealth send your kids to the cheap government school's okay. Are the schools owned by the other founders and proprietors not expensive as well? Why are you just adamant about theirs? One thing is you are just against Christianity and for your info, as you are complaining and making accusations, souls are getting saved. Your opinion doesn't count though. All you can do is talk and talk |
YelloweWest:Someone that's still being fathered can't tell what marriage is all about. The same way you share relationship with colleagues at work without sleeping with them is the same way marriages are. It is not all about sex. But what do they know? Just a pity with these kids around. |
olabrad:There is something called numbers when it comes to achievements. Ronaldo and messi are footballers but what makes them distinct is the five a piece world footballer of the year awards won. Mandela was the president of south Africa so also is Zuma presently but I know you one the difference between them. The basic responsibility of every mother is mothering her child/children but some go out of the circle by mothering the motherless kids out there(not necessarily without a biological mother). And among these ones are pastor Mrs Oyedepo and pastor Mrs Adeboye. Like them or hate them they are exceptional mothers. |
frosbel2:Wonder why you believed there is the occultic but not in God? It's a Sunday a day to rest before the hectic week ahead. I don't have strength to be exchanging words. Have a good week friend. |
frosbel2:Funny thing is you guys cry more than the "so called bereaved". The people you cry for are not complaining but you want to kill yourself. Lagos state govt just increased toll fee and you have no choice than to pay. Yet people pay tithes, pay offerings and sow seeds according to laws in their religions yet you want to kill yourselves. Face your own religion if u have one and leave those practicing theirs... You also called me an idiot for just airing my opinion? That says all about you. One thing is I can't be having this conversation with you one on one and you call me an idiot to my face. But you can always hide behind social media and spit abuses. Life is seen from different angles by different people. |
frosbel2:Open an ordinary biscuits shop first and let's see your profits in 5 years. Even if they are scammers, ain't they better than you? Start a business and lets see your results in 5 years. |
Kennyg101:Can't you see the difference between you and the person you are abusing? He said nice words by saying those are nice women and here you are abusing him and his religion. If a walking madman should pick the better person between the two of you considering your lines , who do you think he will pick? |
BushWickBill:Establish a school and make it free. Atiku has a school and isn't free. Obasanjo does. Igbinedion does. Patience Jonathan does. And countless politicians that drained the purse of this country and they are not free schools. Yet you are glad to take your wards to school there and boast of it. Yet when it comes to these pastors you start sweating for no reason. Didn't the so called politicians and big men with big schools study in those free schools? sentiment kills |
olabrad:Tell me one thing that soyinka has done that has benefited you as a Nigerian and made him be given the global Nobel award? And people celebrate him as much as I celebrate him too. These women have been models to other women maybe those u dont know and have modelled lives. They encourage, motivate and build. You might hate them because they are pastors' wives but in their generation, they stand out. They are mothers in this world where real mothers are rarely seen. I say no more. |
kjhova:I heard you. |
Pusyiter:You welcome. That said one of the die hard fans is already angry and turning purple for my opinion. |
kjhova:Okay sir. Is that all? I'm 200% sure you know not a single thing about what's called figure of speech. Lines could be figurative and not necessarily sound the way written. Did I ask you not to watch your BBN? NO. I am only talking to those that understand what I was saying. Good day and enjoy your BBN. |
Do I enjoy entertainment? 100% sure. But this is Africa. Thanks to the westerners that gave us clothes, but we were never walking naked. We clothed ourselves with animal skins. Now trying to copy them in all they do won't get us anywhere but pollute the minds of this younger generation. I read online that big brother usa, they even entertain gays conjugating. That is where we are heading to with this very unreasonable program called bb. Am I against it? I don't know, but promoting it on forums like this where things ain't censored is a no no for me. There is nothing productive or positive happening on that show. I can't remember the last time I saw educative topics massively moved to the front page like this BBN thing. I watched a young Nigerian boy on TVC news yesterday that invented one machine that can peel cassava. Where is the news on nairaland? Nowhere to be found. But this unproductive show will always be promoted. And people like all the MODs will be aiming at becoming the leaders of tomorrow? I weep for this country. MISPLACED PRIORITIES!!!!!!! |
paymentvoucher:So these are the people we put hope in and are falling our hands. So why should I blame buhari? |
How can we know the MOD that pushed a topic to the front page? Is it possible guys? |
