You're still carnal.

Laffssss. The eyes of your understanding will be enlightened by the doings of this duo post 2023 elections and you will know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

And you people need to grow from being religious to being a true Christian. Religion belongs to the scribes and pharisees. Study your Bible from genesis to revelation and see how God did wonders and promoted His name through the hands of the so called unbelieving Kings.

He is God and no man can help Him to do what He has not ordained to be.

Nigeria is too delicate to be ruled one sided.
Tinubu is too autocratic, there are millions of competent Christians in the north, you don't have to choose ur friend as VP.
I'm not even surprised. Someone that ruled as gov with 3 different deputies
Outside the religion aspect
Look at the 2people representing that ticket
There is nothing presidential about tinubu or Shetima.
Its only sentiment that will make u leave a refined combination of Atiku/okowa or Obi/datti to go an vote Agberos.

Now you are shifting post from religion to something else. Hope you guys know that politics is a form of leadership and career for these politicians. That said, Tinubu and Shettima are agberos? Then I leave you to it. Like I tell people, vote your candidate and leave others to their own candidates too.

Lastly I asked you what the Christians benefited from pastor Osibanjo for almost 8 years, you are yet to answer that. Remember you started with Muslim Muslim talk.

Who is asking u whether ur faith is intact or not?
No right thinking Christian will vote a ticket where his interest is not represented except u are feeding from Tinubu's table.
If truly u are a Christian, Before u make that blunder,
Know that if the case was reversed, this country would have been on fire by now.
Even the bible teaches us to be wise

Just a very honest between us. What did the election of Prof Osibanjo into that office bring to the Christian world? He is an ordained confirmed pastor. What did you as a Christian benefit from his office or what did the office deny you of? Sentiments shouldn't dictate decisions we make in life and please I am too old for speculations.

Nobody can support Muslim-muslim agenda and still call himself a Christian.
Terrorist are using Religion to mobilize people to join them in their fight for an Islamic State, how does supporting Muslim-muslim agenda that gives credence to the Ideologies the terrorist are preaching makes you a better person than the terrorist??.
Why empower something you know is not right for a Country with diversities like Nigeria.
Why did apc refuse to respect the existing pattern for selecting P/VP since the year 1999?.
Apc understand that they are the greatest disaster to hit this Country and the only way they can win is if they can corner the North on religious sentiment.
Apc on a Norm should not be on the ballots again.
Apc MUST GO.

I am supporting Asiwaju and Shettima for 2023. I am not supporting any Muslim Muslim agenda created in the fantasy of people.

I am not just a Christian by birth and faith or religion, I am a Christian by conviction and personal relationship with Christ.

I am a believer with over 25 years of being born again and washed in the previous blood of the lamb. I will vote Asiwaju and Shettima over and over again above other contestants for this 2023 elections.

My faith is intact and still being serviced everyday.

You are right, you see we all envision a better government with better processes.
Let anyone who is going to lost in the election loose fairly
Moreover anyone can loose elections be it OBI, TINUBU, or ATIKU and it will be a step in the right direction and a win for Nigerian if the election is peaceful, free and fair and most Nigerians are satisfied with the outcome

Look at how apc had nothing to take as verifiable evidences to the tribunal in Osun state. It is very obvious to the blinds that that election was free and fair but lawyers must make money and deceive their clients about possible winning tricks.

The new electoral law signed by the president is an added advantage for a clean election. There will still be some little here and there glitches but compared to the old days, it will be a commendable exercise come 2023. And if anyone feels cheated after the results are announced, the judiciary system is there for that person.

I'm really looking forward to the campaigns come 28th and the general elections. God be with us all and this lovely country of ours. Those that are praying for violence will be swept away by it and the peace lovers like us will be safe.

See I'm not OBIDIENT, OR BATIFIED OR ATIKULATE. I'm a Nigerian who wants the government to do the right thing. If the government can stand up to it's responsibility I don't think there will be need for any uprising. It's rather unfortunate that successive government has fail and has led us this far into this mess. People are getting tired of the system. There is a way of PEACE ( equity, tolerance, humanity, progress etc) and if not followed, You know the opposite
Adversity has corrected the mentality of many.
If and only if the government FAILS then revolution without violence is the only thing I will encourage.
Note: what led to the violence in endsars movement was caused by state actors. It's was generally a peaceful movement until overzealous officials decided to give a dog a bad name and hang it

So am I in wanting the best for the country. But in all fairness to this government, you can still boast that we will have a decent election come 2023 based on recent elections we just had.

I was speaking with my wife recently and I said not a single case of stolen ballot boxes or disrupted voting was recorded in a whole state election in Osun State and no one felt like giving kudos to this govt and the Inec.

Bro take a look at ordinary NBA elections that turned into a war. Lawyers that should be custodians of. Law and order couldn't even perform a free, fair and peaceful voting exercise during their last convention.

So given recent positive developments as regards our voting system in this country, it is very insane and foolish of a man to be saying if Obi looses, there will be revolution and some folks are supporting such a delicate and wrong words from an adult. Will he send his own children out to participate in a revolution?

What is wrong is wrong. I can still beat my chest that wee will have a decently nice voting come 2023 unless somethings change which I don't envisage happening.

Ordinary #EndSARS all the policemen in my area ran away and refused to resume duty months after EndSARS. Police and military barracks parked sandbags in front of their gates. Till today, Festac Area command have not removed the sandbags they packed during EndSARS.

Now, imagine a revolution where everyone is armed and ready to die for a just cause.

You really think Nigerian Army is better than the Sri Lankan army? Sri Lanka Army trains the Nigerian Army.

Lol grin grin. So the news and rumours people were killed during the endsars came from where? You guys just say whatever sweetens your mouths. Everybody armed? Armed with cutlass against bullets? If you are a true son of your heritage, after Obi looses in 2023 go outside to try nonsense, your heads will be reset for you. America has a record of oveer 400 million known guns as at today, more than the total number of their population but couldn't do jack even while a sitting president had their backs for insurrection as against the election he lost.

Hope you know president Buhari won't support nonsense. He doesn't meddle with elections and it is obvious to even the blind. No matter the outcome of the 2023 elections if talking up arms is your option, I really hope you do and go out there not all these nairaland online noise.

We all will accept things to be done in a different way. Everyone glamour for change. Then we can set a pedestal for others to follow
REVOLUTION IT IS. If things do go well and the government takes us for granted by rigging the election, then revolution, a type that is without violence
Social and civil disorder
A call to all CSO, PRESSURE GROUPS , YOUTHS ETC. A total shutting of activities in the country including students refusing to attend classes, closure of all income generation agencies of government, a violent free protest across the nation.
This options are all type of revolution without violence

Like the revolution Donald trump incited and you and we all saw what it degenerated into?you are just giving theoretical explanations of behavioral meaning. What it will degenerate into will lead to many lives lost. Youu all saw the end sars and what it degenerated into. A country like Nigeria experiences revolution and Zimbabwe will be the dream country of most people. Some of you just don't know gravity of. Words. If anyone looses election, the reasonable and civil thing to be done and being done since time memorial iss to head to court or tribunal. Simple. So it comes to Peter Obi's turn now and it must be revolution. Was it revolution that won him his mandate back then as a governor in anambra state? If anyone tries nonsense after the elections, the person will have himself or herself to blame. If you like go and join any useless revolution.

Why do people always relate revolution to violence. Sometimes revolution is about changing behavior and pattern of thinking which may or may not translate to a better society
IT MUST NOT ALWAYS RESULTS TO VIOLENCE

Revolution after loosing election to another candidate is what? Don't even start here thinking we are a set of dunces who can't read meaning to what was said. This has nothing to do with behavioral patterns it means violence. Show me which country has ever gone through post elections behavioral pattern revolution before.

Playing dirty and bitterness politics with terrible and derogatory bad names calling and still wants to rule a nation and expecting the people you mouth wash to vote massively for your own candidate when you obviously don't have the votes within your own region. Never seen a set of individuals who have eaten their cakes and still asking for it before. Feeling so entitled to something you don't belive in or never made commitments to. Baffles me though.

The thing about your suggestion as regards amending the law to see Nigerians in diaspora as citizens and be able to fund is that foreign bodies who have interests in the leadership of the country can use individuals to launder money into influencing the election. What could be done is alloowing Nigerians in diaspora to contribute with a capped limited amount to individuals. Take for example for those in the UK, say £5 and those in America say $7 etc.

Politics / The Dwindling Fall Of Our Prestigious Naira To Pounds Pictures by chloedogie(m): 7:59am On Aug 29, 2022
Below is a picture of what you will get in pounds when you drop one thousand naira as at this morning in the black market where a larger percentage of Nigerians have easy and fast access to.

The purchasing power of the naira in recent time is actually fast becoming alarming and something needs to be done about it ASAP. Though the world in general is going through economic tussle, we know how some western countries are already recovering. Prices of some items are dropping which makes their currencies purchasing power better.

But we know the reverse is the case in this country. Once something starts going up, it hardly comes down. Hopefully we will be rescued by set of competent leaders.

Good day nairalanders,

I have lived in Germany for 3 years now i have a 1 years old daughter and I also have a 8 years old daughter who lives with my elder sister in nigeria.

She is married with three kids , I provide everything for them and I pay one of her child school fee but my sister is never satisfied with the money she keep demanding me for more money.

She knows it very well that I am not stable yet in this country , life is hard just because she is taking care of my daughter and she want me to carry the responsibility of her three children.

I make sure that I send a big parcel for all of them once a year as I am typing the parcel is on the way but she want me to pay school fees for all her children too and I can't afford to pay for all four.

I am paying her son school fees is 87k per term and my daughter own is 67k . On the 2nd I sent her 300k for school fees and foodstuffs she called on monday demanding me for 154k for her son and my daughter school fee I asked her what about the money I sent on the 2nd she said she bought foodstuffs for 120k and use the 180k for her two oldest children school fee and she want me to send the 154k for the youngest 2 , I was angry with her and I cut the call.

I am angry my own sister is draining me financially and I have a lot of bills to pay too and a small child to cater for.

I have spoken to my friend she is happy to take care of my daughter for me until I am stable enough to bring her to Germany. I like the idea because my sister is not helping me to progress.

I hope my daughter living with my friend will be a good idea.

I haven't told my sister anything yet because we are not in good term but I want to hear from you first please let me know if I should allow my friend to take care of her or I should leave her with my elder sister.

There is a very standard Christian school I can recommend to you where your 8 year old can be. Well taken care of. You will never regret it if you put your child there.
