xreakz: I need advise guys. I just got accepted for a Postgraduate programme at Lambton College and i need to start my Study Permit/TRV application. Do you advise i do this on my own or get counsel from an Immigration Consultant. Also direct me to areas of this thread that handled questions on any advise you would give.

also got admited in2 lambton college...as 4 d immigration consultant i can say yes and no...yes in the sense dat if u'r nt 2 lazy to go tru part 1 - 4 of travel canada thread or just even dis part 4 alone from d begining then u cn apply ursef...buh if u no get d time den u cn use an immigratn consultant 2 handle d process 4 u...by d way wen is ur 1st semester tuition payment deadline?

..since we'r all here to share infomation wheather right or wrong,i feel i should drop dis as regards d current trend i c happening on this great thread...if u rememba my case well @siga, @fhemmy i pointed out i was gonna use a canadian immigration lawyer nw based here in naija....i was able 2 get sum info concerning d medical call up issue..seems dy had a conference lately regardin visa application..d lawyer pointed out dat d embassy will auto call pipo 4 medical irrespective if dy will be denied or not..i refuse 2 believe at 1st as i read in previous thread dat once called for medicals den trv is assured xcept if d person gat sum kinda medical issues...although am a silent follower on dis thread with no contributions as i still b learner nd observing tinz on d forum..all i sense now is rumble upon rumble regardin medical call up without further instructions 2 pay fees nd board..well i pray no 1 gets denied buh still avn't 100% ascertain what d lawyer said..like i said info might be right or wrong though so abeg no crucify me like baba J ooo

Yes was asked to pay 1st semester tuition to retain a seat...This lambton sef na wa...Anyway me don pay and tuition will be refunded if visa is denied.

@fhemmy tanx 4 d reply buh was jst thinking if using an immigration lawyer would av any effect on the visa app buh frm part 3 - 4 i read i didnt see anytin like preference 2 a visa app as d sole decision lies in d hands of d VO..d prob i av nw is my sponsors(parents)..dy av a mentality dat visa app shuld b done by an agent/lawyer nd i would b paying a whooping sum of 180k for profesional fee..tried convincing my parent dat i cn do dis masef but even if dy agree nd am denied visa, den am in 4 real rumble wit dem..u knw wat i mean

@all pls wats the usefulness of a canada immigration lawyer? Though he's a nigerian ...i have paid my tuition and ready for d visa app..my uncle who lives in canada linked me up with an immigration lawyer and jst wondering if i should go with it as i am fully loaded with tones of info on this thread(part 3 - 4) to file and submit my app mysef...plz house should i go my uncles sugestion or do it mysef? Cuz i knw say dis cdhc dy give person hypertension..

ITPP- Information Technology professional program...Just got my offer letter and deadline for first tuition payment is Mid July...Alot of peeps here advise not to pay until CDHC intruct to do so.....Also planning to apply for VISA by August.
