this is kinda risky....i only read of two peeps on dis forum that tried dis...1 wanted to withdraw her app 4 real but she suprisingly got medical instruction and the other also wanted to withdraw 4 real and his app was withdrawn without medical instruction...he still has dis week/nextweek to wait 4 d alakori VO's....

dict4alpha: PG.Meds done July 19. Submitted through the paper route. Did not pay any fees as i wasn't instructed by CDHC to do so. Got funding from the school, so submitted my funding letter in my application. Let's keep in touch, especially on any positive developments.

Am about mailing CDHC as regards my application. While i understand the fact that my application isn't up to four months yet and its their policy not to respond to inquiries that falls within this period of time, but the reality is that September is here and its resumption time.

Failure to resume September would mean January which is TERM II. Just realizing that TERM II implies that my course plan is screwed - I can only take 2 out of 6 courses due to prerequisite requirements which I should have satisfied in TERM I. Further trying to take this courses from TERM I in TERM II is nearly impossible as they are filled to the brim including the waiting list. (Not too sure about this. I'd send a mail to my department and see if anything can be done in this case as the bulk of the courses are from outside the department also.)

Also my department is organizing an interactive session between alumnus, industry players, and people who had walked the same road we are embarking on. Key issues, questions, headsup would be dealt with. I really want to attend this as I seriously consider it beneficial as no one really has the monopoly of knowledge. And its easier learning from people, there's no point of reinventing the wheel or making the same mistakes some made.

Am also gone past deferment as that closed in July.

Also what email address should I send this email to? Is there any harm in sending this email? Thanks

you applied may 30 which is not yet up to 3months........last week was pregnant abt 2 deliver its gudnews this week so house should brace up...GOD is abt 2 hit u with kondo of gudnews

you can wait for the sch to issue you ur reciept b4 submitting to cdhc...wen i paid mine it took five working days for them to issue me a reciept...so if u av like 2weeks left prior to cdhc mandate of submission of the reciept?? is it not possible to select itineries dat avoid the usa Cuz i believe documentation just to transit to the usa can b kinda tedious and expensive...transit visa can b time consuming nd u can b denied visa...however i would have said since u'r going to canny for study den u'r eligible for d visa waiver program but unfortunately naija no dy d list of countries for the visa waiver program....with d current tight situations of bomb threats on embassies,getting a transit visa at dis time might b kinda stressful...so i support oga bumdish

yep u'r right sum masters are way cheaper,however most universities in canada are highly competitive and they require a minimum of 2,1 grade from there applicants...dats y most peeps opt for a Postgraduate diploma/cert course....with a postgrad/diploma cert alone, u can get a very good job in canny and u can later opt for a masters degree if u want to.....univesity of ottawa accept a 2,2 degree which is pretty fair....i got to know on dis forum but i had already applied to a college and paid a tuition deposit which is also nt a bad idea and besides 2 gain college admision very easy dan uni....buh i still dy vex 4 dem sha cuz no show of funding from them

i meant sum folks that submitted april/may have gotten there medical instructions not to talk of sum1 dat submitted january....if u submitted tru an agent,u can request ur vfs tracking number...its ur right.........wen did u submit?? And are you for fall term or winter term

visa process takes within 4-6months...if u were to b on the fall medical hopeful list, u would b no 1 cuz u submitted january....most folks that submitted april/may don get medical instructions...did u apply thru an agent or u applied ursef...if u apply ursef abeg go knock there door 4 embassy...dats wat alot of people here did and it worked for them...sumtimes dis embassy can b funny atimes....e fit b say they need ur attention in there office and instead for them to just send a simple mail regarding that mba!!! They no go do dat...na until u go knock dia door....confused VO's!!!

Also in my birth certificate my 3rd name was wrongly spelt with an alphabet can I use it like that backed up with an affidavit or should I get a new one from national population commission? if u guys do not have same surname it doesn't mean....at least her birth certificate wil prove her maiden name with u so submit dat with ur visa app...as for the wrongly mispelt name....as long as it wasn't forged you do not need to call the VO's attention to it with affidavit or better still to clear doubt, u can get a new 1...it takes less dan a week to get a new 1...my own opinion sir....

HOWEVER, the pack also contains an instruction asking me to submit within 30 days "explanatory notes" on my plans for funding in my subsequent years, since the funding letter I submitted covers only first year. It is a Graduate Teaching Fellowship whose subsequent renewal is based on satisfactory performance in my first year. Is there a cause for panic? What do I do? Thanks.
