cutieisme: Good morning peeps...actually have been reading this thread for a long time..but i still have some questions ...I am considering going for a masters program in Canada..just finish in school will be going for NYSC February or March next year..So my question is what are my chances if i want to enter for September next year2.Have gone on some school website and the big deal there are the tuition fee and total expenses are just too much so i wonder if i have to pay that money at once even if i choose to pay that much amount for a masters degree...there was one of $31,000 dollars and there is another for $28,000 so i wonder if i have close to 5 million naira why would i have to go for masters when i can invest the money so i said am a novice so i will appreciate if someone can put me through all this.By advising what school to choose as i want to do masters in management(Human Resources).And how much the total cost of tuition fee and living expenses during my stay as that will determine my decision of taking it or just leaving it.My budget is 1 million /1.5 million naira for this...so am thinking if i have schools that wont cost me that much or not more than that.please i need advise please

Ur Nysc is next year Feb...u have to choose just one out of two kungfu masters ...CDHC or NYSC....if ur desire is to study in canny then u have to put ur NYSC on hold and then come back later to naija to do it...but if u wana choose d 2nd kungfu master(NYSC) den u would have to wait till late next year 2014 to apply for may or sept 2015 session but at d time of applyin for ur visa u can apply as a corper in leu of may or sept 2015 start date.....so please choose which kungfu master u want Jet li(Cdhc) or bruce lee(NYSC)....d sword is in ur hands ....sha no use dat sword on me sha.....lol....

Please I need your candid advice on this issue, is it advisable to use my sister and the husband as joint sponsors since they run a joint account?(NB:my mom initially served as a sponsor for my first application, but I was rejected on the grounds that she had insufficient funds, so I intend to get an additional sponsor for my next bombardment)

Bro i no be oga oo....buh my own advice is that u still use ur mum as the main sponsor and then ur sis/hubby as the co-sponsor....just back it up with a good affidavit of support frm both sides and a sponsorship letter....but most especially a compasionate sponsorship letter from ur mum letter cdhc know how bad she feels about ur denial and then her full willingness to see u florish in ur education.....d VO's too get heart....am sure God will grant u ur TRV dis time.....

....vfs too sabi the VO's jet li moves wella....sum1 got trv within 5days of medics and vfs was shocked...dey called ur frnd early for winte which vfs finds hard to believe which was why dy no update...make ur frnd just go there and tell vfs the testimony by mouth dem go change d status sharpally....

Huzzie: @ miss bon...you can go with Xtus advise but take note that you would start NYSC afresh when you return for it.You would have to write a convinving SOP, becaus this your NYSC can be interpreted by the VO as either a strong home tie or desperation.

Confirm the scholarship within the 2weeks deadline, also confirm that Fanshawe college has received the payment then defer your admission till Fall 2014. Though, when I served I know of so many people that forfeited their service for masters abroad; the ball is in your court.

I for fear...i tink say na fanshawe college gangan give u scholarship ni...u almost wana make me withdraw my admission for Lambton college ni sha...tank God u cleared the air......i would advice u look for sch dat offers sept 2014 start date and then use ur scholarship thin for it....hope dat ya scholarship no get expiry sha?...if yes please i dey beg ....transfer dat scholarship to Chrigo na....i await ur reply......

Chatters: Why the rush? Wait till you finish your service. You will need to furnish cdhc your with your nysc discharge certificate.

Actually she can apply as a serving corper in leu of that sept start date...tonnes of peeps don do am 4 dis thread and dem chop visa live and direct....so she's still gud to go ....

...Fall(sept) 2014 tins...dats d only option...if ur sch grades are good enuff to get university admission then why not start d admission process now?...u can submit ur visa app next year april/may 2014 via online route or paper route if u love it.....

for federal skill working scheme check dis link www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp please note that this takes a very long time(2-4yrs) before ur visa is finally issued...if u have a tank loads of chill pill then u can go for it but if not then the student visa route seem pretty fair......

...it takes 4-6months to get trv....if u'r talking about visa fee its 19500...u cant place a certain cost in getting a trv as dia are many factors to be considered b4 issuace of visa e.g good statement of account,good home tie,applying for the right course e.t.c....

I applied and submitted my application may 22 got called for Medicals July 23 and haven't gotten my trv despite my start date being sept 3 which is obvious I can't make it anymore . Can I call ,storm or email the embassy to enquire about my status with the info I have or only my agent can do this? My agent informed me that my school has agreed to extend start date till sept 15 . d VO's dey silverbird gallaria dey take time out today....dont ask me how i got to know....U can go to dia office tomorrow with the informations u have...fill the form and be patient...ur TRV will cum out dat same tomorrow....if e no cum out believe me bro i go stop posting anything here again ....Make sure u'r loaded with faith oo else u go still see my post here oo...lol...It is well...God is working....
