olutimi1: My good people....I received an email from CDHC ds evening dat my study permit has been approved.0ur status(my son and I) has also changed on the VFS portal......God is great!!!Did medicals on the 15th of July...lookin forward to hearing more of this wonderful news from the awaitees.

From previous posts, I had the impression that the email from the embassy actually states that your visa has been approved. So just a bit curious 'bout the email. There's no way to know until I get to the VAC 2morrow, but before then, can anyone who has received their TRV help clarify? @Siga, @Phemmy, your comments will be really appreciated.

kayconsult: @ playpays. Wen u get to CDHC, ask from the security man that u want a withdrawal form but don't ever make the mistake to withdraw ur package if not no canny for you again. Hers wat u'll fill in the form- ur names as written on ur passport,ur date of birth,reasons for inquiry,the reference number written on ur vfs receipt and then ur cell number so u can be contacted by the VO. Then return back to the security as you wait at the lobby outside.

bro wen u'r abt face d uncertainty u gas prepare wella....we all know in d house dat dis are confused and unpredictable VO's....making reference to what past applicants said abt there inquiry.....sum waited for 2hrs, sum 4 hrs, sum 5hrs,sum 1hr,and sum a whole day...i would advice u sacrifies a whole day 4 dis.....rememba say no b only u wan go make inquiry,u will definitely meet tons of guys at d gate so ma broda no 1 knows exactly wen u will b done....who knows dey might grant u an interview which might also take sum time.....wish u best of luck bro ....

you might get same response from cdhc dat ur visa is still within the 4-6month processing time buh anyways cant blame a dude 4 trying!!!....who knows an interview/medical instructions might just be around the corner waiting 4 u.....would advice others 2 do same

its possible for u 2 send sum1 to pick up ur medic package at vfs....but its simply not possible to send sum1 for ur application inquiry since u didnt apply through an agent.....at least u also read of sum1 on this thread that went 4 an inquiry which turned out to be an interview....if he had sent sum1, imagine hw shady dat would av turned out to be so please bro do ur tin ursef.......

I filled the form and droped my number in it,thereafter I was cald on phn from the cdhc office telling me to chill that the processing takes 4-6 months and that dey will surely get back to me. To be sincere am worried cos am to resume first week of sept,but with some blogs am reading in the house,hav got hope dat God has already done it for me and other may and june applicants who are yet to be cald for medical.
