Am just seeing this now as I have been offline attending to personal matters. I didn't say I was his friend ( Akin Alabi), I said I remember when he first bought his 190 which was part of his free Autobot hosted newsletter (yes am that old). As for winkmart and co., I won't bother with a reply on this matter anymore as there is a saying in Hausa: "In ka kula da kashi, shine kashi zayi yi ma wari" ( if you pay attention to poo that's when it will smell for you). Most of the so called freelancers operate within a fraudulent sub-culture and aren't even bold enough to go through their paces to get to live the dream. As such, they pose using other identities and try to get jobs in the name of the "hustle" on up work and other platforms. This has created a lacuna of people who think that you must do wrong in order to get it right. I chose to freelance in order to fully understand what really can be given to young Nigerians as a tried and tested method for earning which will be evergreen. Otherwise my work with non profits and strategy is what I do today. As for my past as an ex CEO its part of what i have done in this World. The same idiots who laugh can never do what I have done even if given half a century to do so. Writing isn't hustling. I once chatted with a fellow writer and said that the gift of writing comes with certain responsibilities. Writing as much as you make money from it also comes with the responsibility of passing down knowledge to the next generation. Writing is the mother of all professions. As such, I find it ludicrous that anyone would have to assume an alter-ego beside that of having a pseudonym in order to get jobs which bring in money. Maybe that's why it didn't feel right for me to work. I mean after all, if anyone is good enough you should get work regardless of who you are or where you live. It's that simple. Even if you're in a rabbit hole at the North Pole, who is meant for you will find you!!! Que Sera, Sera!!! So, it is with this sense of fatalism that I end my odyssey into the murky World of freelancing with my Countrymen; knowing that most don't want the light of truth is because it is more difficult to bear than the darkness of lies. I'd end my reply with a quote from Margaret Thatcher: "Being in power is like being a lady. If you say you are, you aren't". Quod Erat Demonstrandum |
Male.voice over here as well. Let's see how we can work together. |
As a three time ex-International CEO, it is pertinent to speak out against those who are mediocre to the core. Goldencoinhub arranged a WhatsApp group and cant stand either the truth or the appendages that come with it. Don't join her WhatsApp group as it limits the individual thought process. I shall post more about myself and my Odyssey soon. Her number is:+234 803 860 6260 and she asks people to join to protect writers. The gift of writing isn't for everyone. You must suffer an die to yourself before you find your path in the hallowed calling. Even PhD holders recommend me! Check me out here: https://angel.co/christopher-hamman?public_profile=1 Avoid this gal cos they are all about themselves in the group. I have been a member of nairaland for more than ten years. I won't speak out unless it is true.. Christopher Haruna Hamman, Superstar Content Developer, Strategy Demigod, Standup Guy |
Public Apology I want to sincerely apologize for my actions at certain times and seasons of my life. Firstly, to my closest friends and family. I am so sorry if I have hurt any of you. Barr. Ibrahim Hamman and Family, I am sorry. To Lt. Gen. T.Y Danjuma and his wife and family, I am sorry. Gov. Darius Isiaku and Family, the great guys at the Taraba State Government and my own people the house of Tikari, please bear with me. The Audu Family in Kaduna State from which a part of me hails, pls also accept my sincere apologies. My mothers people as well, the Sagay Family please don't hold it against me. And the number of friends too numerous to mention. You have my sincere apologies as well. Early Childhood memories play an integral role in personality development. I remember a movie which always played everytime I got home from Primary School back in the day. The hero of the movie (Tufan) in order to resolve the crisis between himself and his enemy who for some strange reason I can't remember, shot at a moving plane in the air with a crossbow and a rope tied to the arrow. He climbed it step by step, inch by inch until he entered that plane! I lived for that exact scene every time the TV station came on and those colored lines will appear. A part of my subconscious mind over the years always wanted to play out that scene. It has led to disastrous consequences over and over again. Only that this time, the moving plane rarely comes around and the damn crossbow still exists in one way or form. We all have planes to shoot, Not people. Reinforcement of behavior often shows up in ways that we never expect and I recently began to understand this. I shall do my best with the help of God to try and shoot at planes (problems, situations and circumstances) with that crossbow whatsoever it may be and at most times just relax because I will still catch up with the damn plane anyway... No more trying to be like Tufan. My gratitude goes out to those wonderful friends and family who understood that there is nothing really wrong going on under the hood as far as they are concerned. The Pastors of God Life Assembly come to mind. They shoot their own planes and everyone else's at the same time ( great set of guys!) Pastor Chingtok, Rev. Ishaya, Pst. Bonshak, Pst. Sam Omale, Pst. Onesimus (PST. Papa) and all of them; heroes in their own right. Alex Ladan who always listens to my ideas no matter how crazy or outrageous they may sound.. Aunty Esther, your counsel is worth trillions... Pst. Paul Olayiwola my paddy and great friend... Rev. Dr. Kolawole O. Ojo the Plateau State Pastor of the New Covenant Church and CEO of Compunet Limited who always laughs at my jokes no matter how corny they may be. Rev. Joshua Egbagbe who listens to me intently, And everyone else. No more Tufan! Just me Christopher Haruna Hamman, Superstar Content Developer, Strategy Demigod and Standup Guy. |

Its simple.enter into trade but make sure your money is never at risk.e.g buy brooms from the south and send to the north and irish potato from Jo's and sell in Port Harcourt or Lagos. Always sell I'm bulk to consumers.Like I heard the story of someone who bought 200k Irish and made 4m in Port.... Lesson of the story is low cost High value products always win... |

Since the inception of democracy, Plateau State which is supposed to be the fulcrum for Unity and progress in Nigeria has been kept on the edge of the National discourse by the various individuals who have emerged for the position of Governor. Two decades have passed and the narrative in a state once known for being in the top five for anything and everything good is now in the top five for the very things which threaten the existence of Nigeria as a nation state. Take the curious case of out of school children in Central Nigeria for instance. Plateau State ranks first in this regard. Or is it the incessant crises and killings which have bedeviled the citizenry? Or poverty? Unemployment and so on and so forth? This points to a huge gap in leadership over successive democratic regimes. Previous leaders have not been able to deliver totally on any of the promises which they made prior to taking office. Once the elections for such expired, all the promises of heaven on earth always went to the rubbish bin and interests of a cabalistic nature then ensued. Plateau State as a state is one which holds more potential than two thirds of other states combined. From mining to agriculture, trade to human capital, the possibilities are endless! The previous leaders since 1999 have always emerged from a certain mould; a certain class and group. This particular statistic shows that the group which has always had only specific interests (individual not statewide) seem poised and hell bent on making Plateau state to become the last of her sister states in the Federation in everything. As such, one would expect that a state which used to have two or three flights daily from various places and now has one seldom flight would have no hope of return to the position of honor and glory for which she was once known. But dawn beckons and for the first time in two decades a man who burns with a vision not only to return the state to her previous pedestal but also to make new pedestals which future generations can look back on has emerged. His name is Alex Ladan. Being the youngest gubernatorial candidate in the current political race, Alex has been the candidate with a human face and touch. He feels the pain of the people. A detribalized and neutral candidate which is rare in the Nigeria’s political space today, Alex Ladan is the ONLY candidate who has come out with his vision for a state which has been continuously bombarded with messages of tribalism, religious and ethnic bigotry and so many other divisive tendencies which are too numerous to mention for want of time and space. A young man who stands head and shoulders taller than the so-called elite, Alex Ladan is one man who carries the fire of newness in everything in his bones. He is the only candidate who can passionately talk about the issues without getting sidetracked through casting aspersions on the personalities of other contenders. He is the only candidate who wrote his manifesto himself and can refer to it without looking back at what he wrote down because his desire to run is not one borne out of avarice or an emperor complex, rather it is borne out of a desire to serve his people. The “little-London” of Nigeria has been left to become a place where only bad news emanates from. The prime destination for all and sundry within and outside Nigeria has now become a place for ultimate avoidance due to one basic factor: bad leadership. If a state known for its unique role and history in the emergence of the Nigerian state and one which accurately depicts the truly diverse nature of the Nigerian people is left in the hands of those who do not possess the competence required to steer her in the right direction, we shall be doomed to see another four years of stagnation and obduracy. However, if the beautiful state of Plateau is left in the hands of one man who possesses the passion, the leadership qualities, drive, intelligence, skill and wit to name a few, it is as sure as sunrise that Plateau State once again can indeed become a beacon of hope to all. Alex Ladan is the man who shall do this by the grace and power of God. His party the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) is the platform he is contesting on to achieve this purpose. Let us join hands together to create a new Plateau. Vote Alex Ladan in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections. Vote the Lion (as it is commonly said right now on the streets of Jos in the local Hausa parlance: “Zabi Zaki!”). THE FUTURE OF TARABA STATE: WHY GOVERNOR DARIUS ISIAKU MUST NOT RETURN IN 2019 BY CHRISTOPHER HARUNA HAMMAN Recently, I came across a viral news report making rounds in social media about Governor Darius Isiaku of Taraba State promising to empower youths to become millionaires if they vote him into power again and promising to make them export milk and meat, also that the youth will be driving Mercedes Benz cars instead of tricycles for reasons best known to him. My comment as I shared the post was “Dumb stupidity at work” and it still remains the same for reasons I am going to explain. Governor Darius Isiaku is one of the politicians that truly represent what is wrong with Nigerian politics today. A product of a political system where Godfathers and others of their ilk hold sway, the Governor has not lived up to the standard of one who has come to shoulder the burden of leadership which is one of the most difficult tasks that any individual may undertake in his or her lifetime. With no true record on ground, no government of even simple continuity, no vision, no imagination and of course no development as it is usual in Taraba State, it comes as little wonder that the number one citizen of the state would come up with such comments and spurious promises of which only the avaricious and simple minded would hold as gospel. Taraba as a geographic entity is one blessed unit. Crazy as it may sound, the state has what it takes to even surpass Lagos State due to the abundance of agricultural, mineral and human resources that providence has blessed it with. Be it the agricultural abundance of the Benue basin, to the Mambilla Plateau or the lead, zinc and other ores present within the earth’s crust, or even the sapphire ridge that extends into Cameroon. Taraba state has all that it takes to take her place in the league of great states within the community of states in this great country. However, as long as the indigenes and especially the youth continue to look towards one retired soldier who is enjoying himself somewhere among Nigeria’s elite in Lagos, they cannot awaken the giant within. Before even the question of alleged “colluding”, “collusion” (Kudos by the way to the Nigerian Army for the professionalism displayed in the face of allegations from one of their own who should know better) and other similar words, terms or allusions that could best describe Lt. General T.Y Danjuma’s ranting previously, the onus of human conscience (not constitutionally let me be clear) is on the Governor to use his good office to explain what exactly he has been doing as the chief security officer of the state to secure the lives and property of the citizenry. As an adult, I have come to understand that nothing happens in a vacuum. Our constitution provides for maximum discretion when it comes to the budgetary allocation colloquially referred to as “security vote” in Nigerian parlance. However, when problems arise at the local level, there doesn’t yet exist some form of review to which the chief executive of a state will be held accountable for the above described monies. This of course is as a result of the nascent democracy we find ourselves in. So, there it is again. That still small voice called the conscience. What has the Governor done with his own security vote for the past three years? It may not be beholden on him as per our Constitution to explain what he has done. But ah the conscience is a very delicate thing! What initiatives has the Governor used his good office to create when it comes to local security in the villages and wards under his purview? Is President Buhari to be held responsible for every little infraction that occurs at local levels while the Governor gets a free pass? Is he President of just one state or of a whole country that has a myriad number of challenges confronting it all beset by the corruption of preceding administrations? I hence put forward this assertion that it is a perfidy on the consciences of the Governor and his Godfather and their opponents that the game of political monopoly that is being played is played at the precious cost of the blood and livelihoods of the common people of the state. Margaret Thatcher once said: “Being in power is like being a lady. If you say you are, you aren’t”. This now brings to the fore the case for the absolute rejection of Governor Darius Isiaku of Taraba state for a second term. Word reaching those of us who are not at home is that nothing has CHANGED. Everything has been the story of more of the same. Will the youth and the citizenry continue to live like that? Is there not amongst them someone who is credible enough to take the reins who can be elected and “walk the walk” instead of “talking the talk”? This is the very basis for which the future of the state would be contended for. It is quite telling that the indigenes of the state have been pandering to the will of one man, putting their collective destinies in the hands of one who is not bothered about future generations yet unborn (if you don’t believe me just take a trip to Takum Local Government Area and see for yourself what I am talking about). I hope the conviction of former Governor Jolly Nyame on corruption charges will provide a point of contact for a wakeup call for the people. The body polity cannot continue to have the political creations of Lt. Gen. T.Y Danjuma manning the helm of affairs in Taraba State. It is time for the people to produce and elect political creations of their own. After all, borrowing from the oft quoted maxim that the voice of the people is the voice of God, it is thus expedient that this should occur in practice and not only in principle. |
Hey! I think you should use GTB. In my experience, they transfer to the uk the same day and MOST times the us. Mostly the next morning the moneys would have reached their destination. Theirs in my opinion is the most efficient of the wire transfer services. Cheers! |

@tarantula your stupidity is as endless as the stars. I do not blame you at all...it must be something in your genes....I understand.... |
I have to reply @mikolo80 because the level of your stupidity is simply extraordinarily amazing and it is beyond doubt a prime candidate for one of the wonders of the world. The World I mean the universe will be a better place if people like you were identified at birth and locked up in cages where you belong..... |
@mikolo80 and yet you are stupid enough to find yourself on a thread that has nothing to do with you...idiot of no value....when a man is talking of his own side of Nigeria, some bastard who does not know his roots will now be looking and talking.... |
@mikolo80 hausa people have a saying: In Ka kula da Kashi, kashi zai yi ma wari.... Go figure.... |
@mikolo80 your points aren't worthy of a reply. As for my neanderthal ostrich comments as you so referred to my response to your acute stupidity,I shall not reply you again as it is only reasonable human beings that will do as I have done. The extent of your idiocy is obvious. This conversation is formally over unless of course your madness starts....this is due to the fact that people like you are obviously mentally unstable. |
