We have more details about the 15-year-old who was married off to an allegedly demented man from the wealthy Igwilo family in Ozubulu community in Anambra state.


Activist, Prince Harrison Gwamnishu, who visited Anambra state after the story went viral, said the said girl is from Ihiala community and is actually 15 going on 16.

Harrison in an interview with LIB, said the girl is from a very poor family and that she had a child when she was in primary 5 and had to quit school. Her family couldn’t continue sponsoring her education and also taking care of her child so they decided that they were going to marry her off to Izuchukwu who came recently with his family members to ask for her hand in marriage. Acording to the family, they believe no one would come for the little girl’s hand in marriage since she has a child.

Harrison says the Igwilos really want Izuchukwu to get married and also have children of his own, hence they have accepted to have the girl come into their family with her own child. Izuchukwu’s brothers, who are said to be wealthy, have pledged to sponsor the girl’s child and any children she and their brother will have together.

The traditional wedding of Izuchukwu and the teen girl is slated for Easter this year and, according to Harrison, a lot of money running into millions of Naira has been budgetted for the ceremony.

Until the girl come out of Igwilo house we aren't giving up.

Federal Government To Establish Entrepreneur Bank – Osinbajo


Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo disclosed this while addressing the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally held on Friday at Nsit Atai Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom.

Osinbajo said that the bank, when established, would give loans to youths and women at very low interest rate to improve their businesses.

He told the party supporters that when APC in 2015 promised to provide jobs for five million Nigerians, the opposition party did not believe, he however stressed that the party had delivered on its campaign promises.

N-Power is only the beginning; we are starting something called the entrepreneur bank. That bank is for giving loans to men and women like this in N-Power who have a plan for the future.

The loans will be given to them at very little interest rate so that they can start their own businesses, and so that they can make progress.

When we said in 2015 that we will start N-Power, they said it was impossible, that how can you employ five million people? But we have done it.

We said we were going to do home-grown school feeding, today we are feeding 9.2 million children all over Nigeria.

They say it is impossible but home-grown school feeding is here. Home-grown school feeding used 6.8million eggs in one week and we are expanding it.

If you are a young man or woman here and you vote for PDP, know that you are living in the past, every young man or woman must go to the next level.

If you have voted PDP in the past, apologise and say we are going to the next level.

I cannot remain on the same level. The next level is where it is happening. Everything we said we will do, we have already done and we will do more, Osinbajo said.

The vice president urged Akwa Ibom people not play opposition, stressing that the state was strategically positioned for development.

According to him, palm oil being abundant in the state when properly harnessed, would replace crude oil and boost the its economy.

We have found here palm oil which will be a replacement for crude oil, so we are going to be number one in this local government. That is one of the reasons that you must join the Federal Government under the APC.

Akwa Ibom should not be in opposition, no reason. There is every reason for youto join so that you become part of the next level.

All of the young people who are here, the government of President Buhari is determined to make sure that not only do you have jobs, you have quality jobs.

That is one of the most important things we are doing. That is why you must support APC, he said.

Earlier, the APC governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom, Mr Nsima Ekere, assured that the Federal Government that the state had resources to replace crude oil with palm oil.

Ekere said that when crude oil was no more Akwa Ibom palm oil would sustain the nations economy.

Mr Vice President, as you are going, take the message the message to the president that when crude oil is finished, we will sustain the economy with our palm oil, Ekere said.

To many, no matter the number of times a man cheats it is most times overlooked unlike when the coin faces the opposite sex. Most times women are being castigated and termed hoe when they cheat.

The truth is that we all have the tendency to cheat, cheating is not gender fixed. It only takes strong determination and not just ordinary determination as we can fall if not careful.

Many of us have the eyes working perfectly, our eyes are the major culprit here as they send what they see to the senses. Despite the fact that many are married/engaged to what "we" term perfect, those eyes will still see other more perfect being you didn't care to watch before sealing your union, it is the determination that stops whatever thought that might want to germinate.

The Moment any man sees that beauty they want in a lady which can be facial or body, the eyes speaks immediately to other sense organs and those sense organs start making you to imagine how romantic it will be lying with the lady meant for another man. To us this is normal, isn't it?

If that is normal, why should it now be abnormal for woman to see the perfection they want in another man too and also imagine and then complete the series? The chest, height, looks and of course size of pocket are worthy of attraction.

All these are those things we see that makes anyone cheat on their spouse except for cases where either of the two involved causes the other to look out through bad behavior, sexual displeasure or anything best known to the partner. Even if those existed, it is bound to be the growth process and we are meant to adjust, manage in order to make the union stronger as marriage is not always as rossy as we usually imagine it to be. There can be an agreed solution through proper dialogue and consultation if need be.

Lack of Contentment has made many cheat on their partner. Some can not even endure financial downtime for a minute while some will even want to do all they can to get the cash to take care of the other as insecurity is bitting their thinking faculty even when the other person is doing all to manage with the situation as they know it can not last.

The above isn't particular to ladies, many men who sought after sugar mummies and well-to-do ladies are not left out of that.

Apart from those above, anyone has the potential to cheat so far the eyes and other senses are working perfectly.

It has never been easy for those who lived together for years without cheating on each other, they only never allowed the distractions the eyes and other senses can cause to lead them astray and they stayed contented.

There are some that your eyes or senses did not cause directly, but the other person who allowed their senses to act against you probably due to what they see, feel or hear about you or what you are going through, hence they package themselves to make you observe and desire to lost in them, but because you ain't so strong you just fall for their distraction.

Just like anyone can cheat, we can also decide and be determined not to cheat. Cheating is not something of a particular gender, it can be anyone.

Let's try as best as we can to be determined and contented, it will go a long way building a long lasting and successful union.
