No, you mustn’t do it before you submit your application. You can either do it before you submit your application at your own discretion or you do it after you must have submitted your application or you wait for them to request you to do it.

I don't know much about the new application portal but if it's the old portal, it means that you answered yes to the initial eligibility question that you have had a medical examination in the pass 12 months. Your answers in the eligibility questions will determine the Imma forms they will give you to fill and upload. You may want to review your initial answers to be sure.

If they dont have official envelop, they should stamp the sealed envelop and sign across it. I am sure the school has official stamp. Please also ensure that they print the Transcripts on their letter head and put stamp and signature on all pages.

Attached is a sample. I blocked the name of the student and cropped out the name of the school.

The student is my sister and I have already used it to secure admission for her in Seneca College.

Its not too difficult to do. You should just pay them and they will get to work. Its even easier than getting from Universities in Nigeria with all their bottleneck protocols and sorting. If the secondary does not have experience in generating it, you should google it and guide them. I can also forward a sample if you desire.

Official Transcript is the one sent directly to the Oversea Institute of Learning from the school you graduated. So, they want you to ask your University here in Nigeria to send your transcript to them directly without passing through you. This involves some extra expenses: Payment to your Uni and then cost of Courier to Canada. Most Canadian Universities - like other foreign Universities (if not all) demand for Official Transcripts. Some go as far as demanding that the transcript be evaluated by WES. WES is another story all together. The to & fro involved in passing thru WES is scary and discouraging.
Unofficial Transcript is the scanned copy with you. Most (if not all) colleges in Canada accept unofficial transcript. So, make your choice. If you love the University so much, then go for it and plan your budget well. But if you can look for a college in Canada, please do. I dont see much difference than the fact that one runs Masters/PHD Programs and the other stops at Graduate Diplomas/Grad Certs. Cut your cloth according to your material.

If you had applied with the funds in your personal account, the outcome could have been different.

I’m sorry about this, you’re lucky they responded early. I believe the VO thinks that the funds won’t be available/accessible for the entire program length. Maybe try moving the money into another account then draft LOE to explain it. And also do not forget to order for GCMS notes to ascertain the VO’s concerns, tackle it then refire.

There lies your problem i think.

simple logical reason posits that you require at least N11.5million to fund your one year educantion venture + another N2million for flights. Now you are submitting a company as your sponsor, if you say you are the owner of the company why do you need YOUR OWN COMPANY TO SPONSOR YOU? If you are an employee of the company, why will they be consuming almost 70% of their financial capability to sponsor ONLY YOU for your study?

The above DOES NOT DEMONSTRATE REASONABLE EXPENSE. And do no forget to articulate the 3rd party sponsorship flag while you are at it.

You may wanna address that.

Thanks so much Bros. i will try and pay the second semester sch fees and transfer up to 2m to my personal account, and then open a GIC account. I am not the owner of the firm, but I trust the owner. I have my own personal business but no corporate account to back up. The firm's statement was faintly scanned (39 pages) and was even difficult to compress without losing quality of doc...I didnt know there was anything called MBS. Do you think that I will stand a better chance if I address these issues and reapply?

Guys, I have just been served breakfast. Reason is just due to financial situation. This came to early to my surprise. Time line is as attached. Submitted sept 5th, decision November 3rd. Not even up to 8 weeks. What could be their reason.

I am being sponsored by a law firm ( as my company).
Balance on printed statement was 19.2m and account balance did not go below that till now.
Post graduate Cert of I yr in International Business Management in Niagara College Toronto.
Tuition for 1 year is : 18,000 CAD (including 3000 CAD Scholarship)
Paid 9k CAD Tuition for 1st semester comencing 9th Jan 2023.
Did not submit my personal bank statement because there was not much fund in it.
Docs submitted are:

1. Letter of Explanation
2. Data Page and endorsed pages of my expired Passport.
3. National identity Number Slip
4. Covid 19 Vaccination Card.
5. National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
6. Certificate of Membership, National Institute of Management-Chartered.
7. Original Copy Bachelor of Degree Cert.
8. Certified True Copy of Degree Cert.

9. Transcript of Degree.
10. Deeds of Conveyance and survey plans for my landed properties.
11. Building Approval Certificates and Permits
12. Certificate of Registration of my personal business, which is yet to commence business.

14. Memo in respect of my Promotion to Head of Administration in my previous
employment.
15. Birth Certificates of my three Children (most senior is 12 yrs)

I was once refused application for USA student visa in July 2022 which I also declared.

just yesterday I was super worried my application has lasted 5months 5 days and God showed up to calm the storm.

Just returned from blessed sacrament, thanking, praising and worshipping God for his plan for me and my family, few hours later did the routine check on my portal and hurray My PPR is well sitted there, haven't gotten any messages yet.

Application submitted 21st May 2022
Biometrics 25th May
Medical 26th May 2022
Medical passed 28th May 2022
First GCMS notes 12th July and nothing has been done.
Second GCMS 30th August yet to arrive.
Lots and lots of emails and webforms scheduled twice three times daily.
BVL AND PPR 26th October 2022.

The joy is overwhelming. Thank you Jesus

I submitted my application july 27
I cannot even count how many people I randomly send email to accept my request and I ask them questions. I was so scared of my application that I thought it wasn’t good enough but here I am. God did it!! I want to specially thank @motayo97, I’m really grateful thank you for all your help and every other person I’ve contacted that replied me and gave me a response, God bless you all.

Wao! Congratulations. Barely within 11 weeks . Processing time is improving. Thank God!

The bolded is a typical voluntary departure, since you bought plane ticket at your own expense and left the country though seems an illegal move by authority. visa still valid with no evidence of deportation!
You are not a deportee in that case!

I agree to this if there was no documents raised preceding the deportation.

Every application needs an LOE. See attached from IRCC. As the title implies, you are to give explanation to all you would have answered were you to attend a physical interview and asked all the likely questions arising from your documents.
In my opinion, you need to re-state your Statement of Purpose (Which basically addresses your reasons for applying for Study Permit.

Off Course that is the reason you are reapplying. They already you were denied. So you have to mention it and address their concerns very well, with real and veritable evidence.

I have been thinking in that direction too. They would have reduced the full time clause to part time, then I will be excited. People will lose sleep to take full advantage... which may impact the GPA of the students. All the same, Let's thank God for this opportunity first. When they see the effects, they may adjust further. I believe Canadian Government thinks and plans well for international students and their welfare. Just my opinion on the lifting of the 20hrs per week maximum work hrs.

Good evening. Please what’s the difference between a graduate certificate and post graduate diploma. Which is best and advisable in terms of getting a visa for someone who has a Bsc already.

First, you need to find out which course aligns with your career progression.
Secondly, Do you have enough fund for 2yr program... most PGD's are 2 years.
3rdly, PGD will give you more years for Post Graduate work permit.
If you have the funds to show for two years. Go ahead with PGD. Otherwise, settle for PGCert...Course Credits/load is smaller and usually usually for 1 yr(2 semester).

Since you have booked for medical exam, go ahead with your documents and support as soon as your are satisfied and ready. Upfront Medicals can either be submitted with your application or uploaded via webform after you have submitted your application. In my case, i booked for medical before submission. Then i went for medical 2 days after biometric. Then i sent my medical tracking sheet via web form and email to Embassy in Lagos. I also requested for my result from the clinic and they forwarded it to me and send directly same result to IRCC. My Medical was updated 10 days after the exam. God helped me and fast tracked it. Now am waiting for eligibility review and I pray it will come successful and quick too. It will all end in Praise!

Do not pay a dime for capturing after payment online, it's a scam, don't mind them.

I have captured after one week of submission online but I had to pay additional 20k. Same with others who came as well. They made it non-negotiable in PHC. We had no choice. My PCC came out later in the evening of same day. Painful part is that it's valid for only 3 months.
