that was a deadly combo that year. Hadn't seen anything like it since Andrew Cole and Dwight York. edi287: Yep. Rodgers got the best out of Suarez and Sturridge. |

Egbon much respect. I didn't watch Muda Lawal live but I believe your opinion about him. His records also speak for themselves. On Odegbami I people already regard him as one of the best strikers after Yekini. Like how CR7 transformed from a world class winger to a GOAT Striker. Kog45: Oga Chris nobody would agree with us except those who watched the duo but still debatable but I know some would agreed with us.
If I tell anyone here that Sunday Olishe and Muda Lawal remain the best DM to come out of Nigeria ...i know a lot who asked who hell is Muda Lawal compare to Ndidi....Sylvanus Okpala,Ademola Adeshina would have give Ndidi of today a good runs but to a lot would be What is Kog45 saying again?
If asked who is all time Nigeria best winger.. naturally it should be Musa cos it did at highest level with four goals or Finidi George who was arguably Africa best winger in the 90s but Segun Odegbami in all ramifications remain the best winger Nigeria has ever produced, skill, goal scoring and pace.
Honestly to our new generation of keen watcher of the game comparing Kanu and Siasia is like a taboo but sincerely in eagles set up the duo can be compared even if we are talking about assists...Late Rashidi Yekini will never forget Siasia in his career.
We just need to respect our opinions cos we are all here to share ideas and knowledge...respect large12 and tamunotoye22 |

Kanu no doubt in terms of talent and natural ability is up there but his goal scoring and general impact especially with the national team is less than satisfactory. Kanu's performances at the 96 Atlanta Olympics should have been a spring board to do so much in the national team but he never really delivered a lot of times when it mattered most. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. No be fight to disagree. Cheers Tamunotonye22: I respect your opinion then. I read an article on goal.com about kanu not being successful in the national team. |

Tamunotonye22: Siasia had 4 goals more than kanu (16-14) in lesser games but Kanu did not only score, he gave crucial assists.
I grew up into a family that loved and cherished the game, Siasia was hardly praised by the older people in my fam. but I did not only watch kanu play, I also heard, and loved him. I was honest enough to say I didn't watch Siasia, but did you? or your research help you, and you dey use am school me. Lol you're funny you know. if you research make u dey rate Siasia ahead of papilo for SE then na rubbish you dey talk senior man. no be oyibo give am "Papilo", and for the fact say him be house hold name, I no rate you and your research. well u said it's your opinion, but I dey vex sey u dey tell me about research, with DStv and highlight. I guess you got your accolades from the number of likes your comment got. infact, your example did no corelate with the subject. Puskas and RVP? well puskas played in the era where football wasn't as serious, business and valuable as it is now (please correct me house), coupled with the organization of the league and games and also rules. They're even from different teams. from your assertion, you should rate Pele also ahead of Cristiano. no forget sey when Ronaldo beat Pele record, stats begin fly around. so that said, even as an award was named after puskas, you already know who I rate. RVP was so reliable that he featured for the Netherlands in 100+ caps. no come whine me next time about research again. I drop pen for here. All this shalaye because you know you goofed. Kanu gave assists yen yen yen but no single senior tournament goal, no trophy for Nigeria and you want me to take you seriously? please I no get your time. nice day |

I also rate Siasia over Kanu as far as the super eagles is concerned. Let me give you a stat. Do you know that Kanu in 9 senior international tournaments has failed to score a single goal, zilch, zero, odo! Siasia scored more goals for Nigeria than Kanu in lesser games. No be everything you will rely on dstv or highlights. Do your research on a player to really appreciate what people are saying. Just because I wasn't born to see someone like Puskas play doesn't give me the right to say Van Persie was better for example. Tamunotonye22: Just to be honest, I didn't watch Siasia play at all. but how will only you in the whole world rate Siasia ahead of KANU!! even in the SE shirt? Siasia would have been a team player more than a star player, and your rating na by the kind goals wey him score and the opponent Lol. Real Madrid dey win league arbeloa dey celebrate pass |

Men that group was tough but the almost total overhaul plus change of coaching staff further made an uphill task near mission impossible. Yes Sweden could have been defeated a draw against England and we could have been through. I remember waking up early to watch the Argentina game. Their attack was relentless. Our defense wasn't porous but the unending Argentine attacks made us crack. Unfortunately Kanu had to be subbed early in the game so there was no focal point to ease pressure on our defenders. jihday: That hideous jersey, the group was tough but sacking the coach and some key players few months to the tournament didn't help matters. I think Sweden was very beatable and we could have avoided defeat to Argentina. |

Two nights ago, my stool was filled with dark red blood; so I had to quickly inform my parents. They advised I go for a full scale test. pu7pl3: WWE SMACKDOWN REVIEWS RECAPS AND REACTIONS
Swerve WWE did an interesting thing where Cesaro was given a singles victory over Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 37 and that was used as a catalyst to kick off a main event run. They didn’t really build up to this at all, with it seemingly coming out of nowhere, but it’s still driven by years and years of fans having lobbied for him to be pushed beyond the mid-card he’s been stuck in for what feels like forever. Of late, we’ve heard stories that Daniel Bryan, another guy who struggled to get to the main event title picture, before a big breakthrough in 2014, has been doing his own lobbying for Cesaro behind-the-scenes. Here, Bryan took that lobbying to television, doing his best Paul Heyman going full advocate for the Swiss Superman. Bryan put over how Cesaro deserves the shot, how Reigns is afraid of losing to Cesaro, and how he knows he can’t win against him. He did this after they worked a tag team match against Seth Rollins and Jey Uso, one they were victorious in, and Cesaro treated Uso like a rag doll to be tossed around and upside down. It built to a main event segment that saw Cesaro demand an answer from Reigns and immediately get put in his place. He was shouted down, dismissed, and instantly put on the back burner in favor of Reigns challenging Bryan to a match for the title next week, with Bryan’s SmackDown residency on the line. It’s equal parts compelling and hilarious, compelling because there’s certainly intrigue in how they’ll handle Bryan from here and hilarious because it’s indicative of the broader treatment of Cesaro. Reigns dismissed him to such a degree I found it hard to take him as seriously as Bryan was demanding we should. Then Cesaro was encouraging Bryan to accept the challenge! Sure, this could simply be delaying Cesaro’s main event run but WWE would do better to make up its mind on giving him the push and committing to it. Don’t have Bryan tell me how great and worthy he is and then in the tag match they’re in together, have Bryan be the guy scoring the pin. Don’t have him push for Cesaro to get the title shot the entire night just to then take it himself. It doesn’t matter if you tell me he’s worthy, if I see every action betray those words, I’m going to believe he’s the second-rate wrestler you continue to present him as. But, hey, there’s probably another good PPV match against Rollins coming. So at least there’s that.
All the rest Intercontinental title scene: I liked that WWE gave Kevin Owens an impromptu title shot on this show over Big E. Sure, he didn’t win and his issues with Sami Zayn were continued while Apollo Crews was attacked by Big E to keep their feud going, but there was a brief interaction between Owens and Big E backstage that created some electricity and it deepened the pool of contenders for the title. That’s four super talented wrestlers all in the same vicinity with a lot of good matches to be had among them.
Reginald returns: It took exactly zero shows for Reginald to be a distraction that caused issue for the women’s tag team champions and cost them yet another singles victory. This time it was Nia Jax losing to Tamina Snuka. There’s no shot this isn’t leading to a breakup and it’s long overdue. Natalya and Tamina will do just fine as transitional champions.
Top contender Bayley: Sasha Banks wasn’t on this show, and it’s strange just how little follow up there’s been to that historic match with Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37. In fact, Bayley is stepping right in and getting the next crack at the SmackDown women’s championship. They didn’t even give them a segment in the ring on this show, instead enlisting Montez Ford to snitch on Bayley talking trash and Belair showing up confront her over it. Babyface Bayley briefly returned to say a bunch of nice things but SWERVE, she didn’t actually mean it hahahahahaha. I say “hahahahahaha” because that’s what Bayley did to end the segment. This isn’t good so far.
The new Aleister Black: He told a story about slaying a dragon and how we’re all a bunch of liars who suck and should be scorched from the Earth. I don’t really get what the idea is here, but I don’t think I’m supposed to just yet. I’ll wait for Chapter 2, and 3, and maybe even 4 before making any judgments here.
The Mysterios: Rey and Dominik are actually a pretty fun tag team! I wouldn’t mind watching the two of them continue to have these fun matches en route to a run with the titles. It’s an easy, feel good story that WWE really can’t mess up.
This show was largely about establishing a guy who ended up not getting the thing he was supposed to be getting established for. A weird one.
Grade: C+ just want to commend and thank you for the consistent updates. not a regular on this page but an old wrestling fan. keep up the great work |

That's a little bit unfair KC has 5 assists this season so far plus I have seen him lay it on a plate for a couple of players these past few match days. If their finishing had been sharper he would have easily entered double figures for assists. nairalandankrah: And If his goals dries up, he returns to being a squad player..
