Hi everyone! My mum’s visa status shows “issued” on the visa status check website since August 14, but I have not received a pickup email for her. This is likely because the embassy has discontinued its use of ustraveldoc website and changed to a new visa services provider.

I was wondering if there is anyone here who has had their IW visa applications approved/issued since August 12 and also received a pickup email on or after August 16. Otherwise, has anybody just showed up at DHL to pick up their passport without a pickup email after August 16?

I am considering asking her to go to DHL without a pickup email but want to know if others have a similar experience. Looking forward to hearing the experiences of others!

This SA visa is now becoming annoying and unnecessarily frustrating!!!! Alot of people were forced to apply through VFS because of the delay with walk in and now the VFS e visa is also not guaranteed again!!!! These people are just so incompetent, even first world countries will not stress anyone like this , imagine SA, it’s the audacity for me , no be their fault!!!

It shouldn’t be a problem provided that you’ll be landing at OR Tambo intl airport. SA evisa holders must arrive at OR Tambo and no other airport. Ensure that you book a direct flight from Lagos to Johannesburg with Rwanda Air or Ethiopian.

As for bank statement, please DO NOT submit an e-statement. Statement must be stamped and signed by the bank. You can then scan the original and upload on the evisa platform.

For hotel bookings, if you have a contact in SA who has a good relationship with a hotel there, you can ask them to help contact a hotel for a booking without payment IN YOUR NAME (there are no certainties though).

OR initiate a refundable booking IN YOUR NAME via a hotel’s website or by contacting them directly but they’ll need a USD card info to initiate (could be yours or someone else’s). They won’t deduct money from your card until your check-in date but you must cancel before the actual date if for any reason you won’t be using the hotel. In most cases, the hotel will specifically advise you on their refund policy.

Via their office in Lagos and Abuja. That’s how I have paid for their tickets. U can also use dom card or barter card or foreign currency card. They all work

I added zero to my passport it worked, as I want about to make payment, the site shot down and I was logged out ��‍♀️ I don’t know if it’s vila people.. I tried going back to book the appointment and now it said I have exceeded the maximum number of appointment and an agent asked me to pay 70k for the appointment.. �

Hello everyone. My mum wants to travel to France, with some time to spend in Germany, although France is her main destination. If she applies for a Schengen visa through France would they structure it according to the time she’s spending or they would issue the visa normally and then she can move freely within the Schengen region? Thanks in advance.
She’s also a frequent traveler to the UK, would that help?

With a single entry visa I can still visit multiple Schengen countries but can't leave and re-enter with the same visa abi?

Pls I need help. I tried renewing my parent s b1/b2 visa. They already have a profile on the appointment booking. My mum is the main applicant. I was able to edit my mum s details and edit to her new passport no. But wasnt able to do that for family member (my dad). His old passport no is still there. Should I just book it like that then he carries his new passport along to get his visa? Because the appointment confirmation print out will bear his name and old passport no. Kindly advise pls

I fell so down and discouraged as to the search for IW dates.

Please, how long did it take you guys (those that actively searched for dates without paying agents) to get your IW date(s) from the beginning of your search period?

Also, I will appreciate more recommendations (agents not included) as to getting an IW date. I am currently in a telegram group, but I need more recommendations. I do not like the feeling of literally putting all my eggs in one basket, it makes me anxious.

Kindly help...I need some encouragement today, I feel low jare!

The IW was created for us to help each other out but sadly, we now have a bunch of overzealous newly appointed admins who believe he/she can remove people out of the group without any prior notification. By so doing, you are tolling with people's chances of getting a date which is completely unfair. The group was much better and organised before now. It's sad to see that it was those who craved to be a part of the group that are now trying to play mini gods.
So sorry you were removed without prior notification, we will all get a date hopefully. This is a very sensitive time for everyone. I hope you get back in. If they are worried about agents getting in, a background check would be appropriate before boothing anyone out of the group.

i got a slot around 1pm yesterday and I checked more than 7 times sef. But note that I
Log out immediately I saw “no appointment available” I don’t close the page, I log out completely, then close the page and check again after 40-50 minutes. Also don’t click on continue after logging in, click schedule a new appointment instead

You should be on the look out how? when they freeze accounts after few attempts.

My account was frozen for 72 hours after several attempts to book appointment. Do you have an idea of available dates in February? Please people that has booked the WI interview should tell us how they did it.

Did you input your Gtb receipt again after starting over? Or it automatically inputs it. Im not sure if I should start over cos it’s showing no available dates.
