who is talking about ojukwu here ? get a grip of yourself son igbo tenants...lol empty vessels and noises, this is not tribal bashing, grow up pls ibedun: Ojukwu lead you people into a senseless war that nearly costed your whole existence.
Irrational, emotional people like you still full Igbo land
Sadly this country is not one and would never ever be one. The stubborn Nigerianist like OBJ, David Mark dem are just deceiving themselves. I see bloodshed along the way and it would start in Lagos. Igbo bombasticness and chest beating will almost certainly trigger it like it did in the North in the 60s.
NB - Yesteday I told my caretaker to give all my tenants (90% Igbos) quit notice. He responded that he can only replace them with Igbo people and that if they leave Lagos, many Yoruba landlords will starve. Its a real quagmire. |

our people will say in igbo.... anu na ngwo maka na nkwu na abia.. relax dont worry, INEC is there, so they have their permutation, it is now abut how many votes you have but how many states you win....if BUHARI HAS ONE BILLION VOTES in 5 states and GOODLUCK has 1 million votes in 10 states, good luck wins by the virtue of Majority states not majority votes. For you to win this election you must be acceptable in two third of the states and from the look of thing BUHARI is only acceptable in North not even in south West cos Ekiti is PDP, SOUTH EAST IS PDP, we are awaiting south south LOL Onegai: If GEJ miraculously wins now or the election is declared inconclusive, the tribal genocide that will happen will make the run-up to the Biafran war seem tame. Because it's clear he's lost. GEJ cannot pull 1 million votes each in Edo, Bayelsa and Delta and get 599, 000 votes in Enugu and less than 1 mil in Abia and Anambra. That's saying those states are bigger than Enugu (which is ridiculous, I know that for a fact).
Igbos should have come out and given him almost 1mil votes from each state, then he can pad it and be getting numbers up to 1. 5mil (like Northern states did, Kano did that and it seems plausible because they have the 3rd largest city in Nigeria) and he would be in a better position. Even him miraculously winning Lagos will be met with disbelief and violence.
If you know you want to reduce the Igbo population, by all means keep encouraging this line of though. I'd advise you however to start grooming a candidiate to be ready in the next 8-10 years.
OBJ should have picked Donald Duke and PDP would have had more years on the seat. Oh well... |

but you can see that your submission doesnt hold water. these white coller jobs are still businesses that started small like MTN, COSCHARIS, PHARMECEUTICAL, ORANGE DRUGS, SWIFT, SMILE AND these are people businesses and they are firms today. SO AS YOU CAN SEE, IT IS THOSE THAT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO OPEN UP SMALL SCALE BUSINESSES TODAY WILL DICTATE THE PACE OF ECONOMY TOMORROW BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE FUNDS AND POWER TO FIRE AND HIRE. And above all tey have cash So i think that the best thing for yorubas is to venture out NO VENTURE NO SUCCESS The war tought igbos a lesson and the igbos became good student of that war and lesson and they are applying it, justv 4 decades after the war one nigeria kibo: About being the worst analysis, you are entitled to your own opinion. Kindly refer to the points below:
1. The most stable jobs are not businesses. Infact they are the least stable jobs because the entrepreneurs bear the whole risk of the business. Although, the profit is larger compared to paid employment. Why do you think people go after white collar jobs, it is because of their stability and security. All you need to do is wait for the end of the month to get paid. But markets fluctuate, and these affects the profit of businesses.
2. I never said Easterners dont do white collar jobs, i said as far as small scale businesses are concerned in Nigeria. The Easterners are more inclined to it than the Westerners, which brings about the topic of migration.
3. Transfer only comes in 4-5 years, and in come places, is influenced. Transfer doesnt mean your job is not stable. It is temporal and people most times, move back to their previous locations when they retire. The business men dont, they build homes and business empires when they migrate, They are there to stay.

wat makes you think so, when it comes to the banking industry it is more of igbo thing, bankers need funds and businesses have funds and igbo are business men and the banks will employ igbo staffs to go for these funds, can you take a stroll into any bank and ask how many igbo staffs are there, when you talk of ICT igbos are basically there from swift to smile isp these are basically igbo firms now take it to maritime, you know who owns these clearing firm, try go to apapa and ask questions and who are the importers . So my dear stop saying yoruba are WHITE COLLER JOB PEOPLE, we know as it is, even in AVIATION and MEDICALS the biggest hospital in lagos EKO hospital are owned by two igbo and oner yoruba SO WHAT ARE WE DEBATING HERE FIND ANOTHER LINE OF EXCUSE BIKO kibo: They trade too, but they also trade in the West (Lagos), because this is the economic powerhouse and it was the defunct capital of the country, it has the population and the market.
Chief, there are white collar jobs in the South South comprising of oil companies, Federal Civil Service, banking industries and co. If you do your census, you will notice that the Westerners are also there.
Are you telling me that if you got a job at Shell in Imo State for example, you would not take it because you feel that the Igbos will not accommodate you. Who employed you, is it the company or the people.
What you notice in the South East are SMALL SCALE INDIGENOUS INDUSTRIES with less the 10 staffs in a company sometimes. As i said earlier on, when it comes to white collar jobs, the Westeners are largely there, but when it comes to trading/businesses, there are a few.
LAGOS IS NOT POPULATED BECAUSE PEOPLE WHAT TO STRUGGLE WITH THE WESTERNERS, LAGOS IS POPULATED BECAUSE IT WAS THE DEFUNCT CAPITAL OF THE COUNTRY. THIS POINT CAN NOT BE OVER EMPHASIZED.

I wouldn't call this Igbo clout just yet. Igbo clout just failed GEJ. Compare the massive turnout Buhari got in his base to the meagre turnout GET got in what he thought was his power base. this is the worst analysis i have seem, the most stable jobs is business and that is why you as a business man goest into a region and you see that there arev potential you will not mve you just stay put and develope your firm as a small scale business and this tend to reduce migration but as a white coller job person you have the high tendency to be transfered from head office ton one region to develope the firm and you will see the migration ...so as you can see that your logic have loop holes igbos are all rounder, in my family we are technocrats i am from anambra none is business man we have lawyers engineers etc and non is business so igbos are not only business minded but technocrats also and all rounder yorubas not travelling out has nothing to do with white coller jobs because igbos still do these jobs but i think it is about their fear of the unknown which is legendary in them when i was doing my NYSC somewhere in BENUE i saw how my yoruba corp members where scared always always wanting to go back to west but the igbos there as corp members started doing food business and sending them to east SO BRO FORGET THAT YOUR SUBMISSION, IT IS FAULTY kibo: How you speak about someones ethnic affiliation indicates if you are tribalistic. In a bid to speak against tribalism, you are being tribalistic.
Without any sense of tribal bigotry, if you see things in clear perspective. The Westerners are more inclined to white collar jobs, this doesnt warrant migration as a lot of companies are already situated in the west.
The Easterners are more inclined to small scale businesses, that is why you notice a lot them migrating to other places to search for better markets. Infact the Igbos are everywhere in the country doing businesses.
On the flip side, most white collar jobs are populated by Westerners. These jobs bring more stability in terms of migration. That is why you dont see a lot of Westeners migrating.
Moreso, the fact that Lagos is highly populated has nothing to do with tribal affiliations. It is just because it was the defunct capital of Nigeria and economic powerhouse of the country. All capitals in the world are populated. For example, if Kebbi State was the defunct capital, you would notice the same migration pattern to Kebbi State regardless of tribal affiliations.
About not having other communities in the East. That is not true. Infact, in some native villages in the East, you see core Northerners that sell suya and do other trades. You also notice Fulani herdsmen with their cattles grazing on Eastern lands. There are Hausa communities all over Eastern States
Let us try to be OBJECTIVE in our analysis and not be clouded by TRIBAL sentiments.
PEACE !!! |

You haven't seen nothing yet lol they do not just the basic principles of economic expansion, guts and group economics, igbos learnt this principles in a hard way, the civil war helped us, it made us to unify from all igbo states in SE and SS and the hatred for GEJ made SS Ijaws to understnad they are our cousin, I am so happy. These yoruba should understnad no venture no success in life, it is not all about staying put in your region, try to venture out and succeed that makes you a man, we igbo are doing it, chinese are doing it, brithian did it, french did it, zulus are doing it, even hausa are doing it..why cant the average yoruba man go out of his region open up economic activities, develope there, repatriate their money back home as other intelligent groups are doing. I respect jews for that and it seems igbos have copied the jews well. I know that GEJ will win this election ..its not by NUMBERS but by 2/3 of state won and we are happy and we have made our point that APC is not our thing ...this was proved in APC losing in east and we do not have regret we ave been there we have done that...they should bring it on IGBO ARE ECONOMICALLY VIABLE AND POWERFUL AND WE CAN TAKE ON ANYBODY ...THIS IS NOT 1967 and thank lord THE SSouth South have seen their stupidity. so all we want is peace and let us just live in peace and forget triablism |
