The companies shouldn't collect VAT from distribution outlets and pay them to Lagos and Ogun States for housing their headquarters.

VATs should now be based on distribution locations and not factory or headquarters locations.

How then would Lagos and Ogun states (since you were specific) be compensated for the degradation of their environment due to the activities of the companies. This is a puerile and myopic sense of reasoning.

If you are pained that industries are concentrated in those states, relocate them to o your states.

It said, “The South-West has no strong claim for the presidency in 2023. Chief Olusegun Obasanjo led Nigeria as President from 1999 to 2007 while Professor Yemi Osibanjo will conclude 8 years as Vice President from 2015 to 2023. So, 2023 will be the turn of the Igbo to occupy the exalted office of the president.

Ohanaeze should note that things don't just happen in politics. They are planned. They should not debar the south west the reap the fruits of their labour bountifully.

The south west is not asking igbos not to contest for the highest office in the land. When the south west was building bridges with other zones, the Igbo were burning the bridges they had with other zones.

The truth is that the presidency is coming to the south in 2023 and nobody is saying the Igbo should not contest for the ticket of any political party. Likewise, nobody should debar the south west from contesting too.

Igbo should seriously agitate for the ticket of PDP because the ticket of the APC has been with the south west since 2015. Once again, things don't just happen, they are planned. The south west has planned verrrry well.

Haven't you wondered why your darling, thieving PDP (which you served diligently like slaves) has not deemed it right to place you, the Igbo on the ballot since 1999.

Lastly, any good candidate presented by APC would win the elections irrespective of whom the Igbo people vote for in so far as APC can muster 25% of votes cast in just two states of the south east.

Those saying Yoruba is divided are very wrong. In any society, this kind of situation is quite normal. There will be voices of dissent here and there but the majority and the most articulate will have their way.

The Yoruba nation has moved miles ahead of this group and the petition in question is slated to be presented on 23rd August and there is nothing anybody can to about that, not even Putin - the much talked about most powerful man in the world.

At the end it would be debated and decisions would be taken by the UN.

Kudos to the Yoruba nation for the educated, diplomatic and legal ways they have adopted for their struggles unlike the cave men that are killing their kith and kin because they want "fleedom"

The problem of democracy itself is the large proportion of Nigerians that are ignoramuses like you. This is the plain truth. The constitution guarantees your rights but it also states your obligations. You can not enjoy any right when you have not carried out your obligations.

So, my dear lady, a lot of boys are being defiled out there but because of the minimal effects of the act on boys, they are largely swept under the carpet. There are psychological effects of such act though.
