Why not apply to Karlsruhe Institute of Technology which is ranked 135 in the entire world and by far better and more prestigious than of karlsruhe university of applied science that is ranked over 2500 in the world.

The best Decoders produced by strong company are 4669, 4669x2, 4922, 4954 and 4955. Others like 4920, 4950 series. 4955 is known with power problem, 4950 series are known with tuner problem over time. Strong has a company has made name like Peugeot cars of those days. We have many companies competing with strong now, sunplus Decoders, tiger Decoders and so on. Many strong Decoders in market now are refurbished one except you buy it from strong office with warranty. It is well my brother. If you bought from approved dealer of Strong products, take it there for proper attention.

Ye, you know 4922 is a rugged decoder that can withstand some problems which other strong decoders can not, check your cables one by one or run each lnb direct to the box without disecq, I believe you rectify the problem (s). There is a short circuit before the disecq or it could be the disecq itself.

Or before doing that let him run a single cable from lnb to the receiver and blind scan let see what the outcome will be. l am suspecting the problem is from his set up, that mini box is a good one. It could be his disecq or one of the cables from lnb to disecq has a contact somewhere. Finally he should check the setup properly to be sure that there is no contact or short circuit some where before the disecq.

Thanks bro, their whole arrangement in their shop is via one wire for each satellite, no disecq, and the thing performed well. D checked both with TSTV, Multi TV and Nigcomsat at several times and it didn't malfunction.
I was using 4922 and didn't experience any issue as well with the set up

Bro,the receiver is new in the system and not many people have it , from specs, it looks like a rebranded piece of ****(mind my language)... Let the seller correct any problem you have or wait for the srt497S.which is now circulating in the middle east.

God what is this? I suspected this decoder and asked for 4955 that I bought for someone around September and is working well but d said is not available again, out of stock.

Friends please i need help, i bought a new decoder SRT 4954 on Wednesday and on getting home and adding channels, the decoder does not always respond to the remote, it keeps hanging, i returned it on Thursday and d tested it but nothing of such happened though d only test with one network but i have 3 in 1 set up via a disec switch. The installer d sellers called to ask what could be the cause said is load and that is normal and that also maybe i didn't set it up well and he had to factory reset it and promised it won't happen again.

On reaching home, i inputed my 3 satellites freuencies and blind scan using different network and up til now, the hanging continues down to even volume adjustment. I have called my personal installer to come and set it up himself, so he says Monday.

But i want to ask, what could be the probable cause? is the decoder or remote faulty or could it be my disec switch or there is something am not doing right? this issue is freaking me.

Never experienced it before on my SRT 4922. Mtcheeew

Okay, I started this journey last year January with the hope of gaining admission for winter 2018 which I received 8 rejection letters from the eight different schools. I was devastated because I thought that admission can be easily gotten.
I started again during summer 2019 which I applied to several schools (uncountable) both uni-assist and non uni-assist. All gave me rejection letter except TU Chemnitz that forgot to issue me both acceptance or rejection letter and I booked appointment via online. As my interview date was approaching, I was so uncomfortable because I don't have acceptance letter. I mailed Daily Dollar another my admission wahala and he promised to help me which he did. He told me to mail Chemnitz about the status of my application which I did and they replied me with my acceptance Letter ( I was the happiest girl that day).
I had my interview on 13/04 and it went well.

About my AM....
After four weeks, I mailed the Alien office Chemnitz about my documents and they said they haven't received it yet. I was worried and I traveled to Lagos to rectify the problems. Lo and behold Paulinus was so nice to me and gave me a good answered.
On 16/04, the embassy called(even said my email address is invalid ) and said that I should submit my passport and travel insurance valid for six months which I did(I have to use someone else's email to submit my passport).
The next day I went to Lagos to see if I can pick it(visum) up myself but Paulinus drove me away that I should wait for DHL to deliver the documents to me. I started begging Pauly to bless help me out because my enrollment deadline is on 26/04 and Friday and Monday are public holidays. As I was begging those security men to plead on Behalf of me, my VO called me and said that my visa is ready and will soon be handed over to the DHL officer. I quickly told her that I'm in her office right now and she asked "what are you doing in my office? I told her I came to make enquiry if I can collect my visa handy and she said I should then wait to collect it.

That was how I received received my visa and quickly rushed to turkish airline and booked flight immediately.

3. I still have plans to apply to two more schools but I want to send my documents this week or next. Is it compulsory I send the school application forms together with my documents? This is to save money for sending documents to uni-assist

Maybe i say this here, Most of the Uni-assist school applications we are meant to sign and send hard copy is a waste of time and money. Is only "few" that demands the signed copy, in other words, most times, the online submission where u tick the terms and conditions before is sufficient. Needless to say, u confer with them before concluding on what to do

Sorry mate.. I guess the problem started from line 5!
ECTS is for trying to determine how many hours you spent on a particular course or set of courses. So it’s not the same as credit unit.
First: 30hours is equal to 1ECTS point in Germany, you got that part right!
Second: You have to determine all the courses and how many hours you spent on them in class per week. Then multiply it by the no of week you have in a semester to get the total number of hours for that semester. You have to repeat this for the whole semester and add them to know the number of hours you have for the 4 or 5 years as an undergraduate depending on your course of study.
Now since 30hours is 1ECTS point, you can then determine the ECTS points you have.
Economics is not a small course in masters level, that’s why they want to know how grounded you are in subjects like statistics etc.
Don’t give up, you can still apply to schools!
I can also share the way I arranged my subject and hours to calculate my ECTS points if you want.

Same thing happened to me. It has happened to a lot of people here. In my own case, I had to call their Foreign Affairs in Berlin but before then, I sent several mails to the Embassy without any reply. I sat at the embassy from 7am till 2pm before they brought out my passport. Usually, if you sent your passport by courier, they will take forever or may not even open your mail until you go there.
So if your travel date is close or has passed already, go to the embassy. Just pack your things and go to Lagos if you are not there already. Go before 10am. Dont make any issues. Just tell Paulinus that you are traveling that day and you have called and sent several mails already.

Meanwhile, we need to report this matter. I have the email and contacts that we can report this matter to in Berlin.

What went wrong and how can we (the winter applicants) avoid such scenario because I really don't wanna be stranded.

1. Is it that they didnt book appointment on time?
2. Is it that they didnt fund their block account?
3. Is it that they werent given admission on time?

What actually makes some people get AM before Enrolment while others get after enrolment?
