slimyem: Save all the story...
It swings both ways...
A lot of women are equally tired of men and their ways!!
My dear, sure. It's both ways. It's not just the men only. I said that cos I was tryna relate d issue some men have. Even women complain of men too.

1ndidi2: I guess we don't need eachother anymore in this world!

Having children will now be a business venture

We are now in a commodity world! where d things we have in common are what we can buy-human life inclusive.
My dear,it's quite unfortunate & sad. When I told my siblings abt my idea way back, they asked what was wrong with me. I guess I sounded silly to them but they didnt understand my reasoning was borne out of emotional issues. You'd be shocked to find out how many pple who have tot abt dis style but cant come out to say it. Some might even think of stuffs crazier than this. Pple are suffering inside n nobody knows cos they're not speaking up cos those who speak up are usually lambasted & insulted. It's sad & pathetic.

Let me make one thing clear here. I'm not in anyway saying the poster's option is the best o. I'm sure deep inside,he would prefer to have things go normally. I'm just saying when it comes to relationship & marriage, pple should know things have assumed a new dimension. I've seen women who do not want children @ all in naija. They just cant stand the stress of raising them n honestly,I tot they were crazy but den,I've come to d realisation that we all have choices in life n only us,can tell how we feel. The OP might have gone thru several issues which could be family or relationship induced. I think we should all see this as an avenue to try to become better pple when dealing with others cos we cant tell to what extent our actions will push pple. When pple get hurt from one point & move to d other, they become something else n u start wondering why they are d way they are,not knowing someone else has effectively turned them into monsters/mo-rons. It's just an unfortunate circle.

It's funny how things have turned. I have also toyed with this idea & haven't ruled it out entirely though. A lot of men are tired of women & their problems. Pple should understand that there are pple who do not like emotional stress @ all. We(men),discuss these things everyday & it's always the same thing. I even have a friend who's planning to leave his wife cos she's made him get to the point where he starts askin pple randomly if they think He's a mo-ron. I once broke up with a girl who I truly loved cos we were always quarelling & it was messing me up emotionally & I was always getting depressed. I looked pretty tough n in control outside then, but inside me I was dying slowly n wondering how my home would be. Some pple are not just cut out for emotional stress. Women do same to. While writing my ACCA exams,I heard a gist abt a girl who offered a jobless graduate who was doing ICAN @ dat time, the chance to impregnate her & get 1.2m & a car(I think). But he was going to forfeit tge child according to d terms. Dude was seriously considering it. I cant blame the OP. A lot is going on out there that we dont know. It's not like men think women are nothing. Some pple cant just stand wahala. I can tell cos I've been there.

Romance › Re: Attractive Women Are Less Likely To Be Asked Out By Good Looking Men. by chronique(m): 10:39am On Nov 28, 2012
That study may just prove to be correct! And the answer to your question is EGO. It's usually the case that "attractive" people (i.e. Facially beautiful, drop-dead gorgeous, jaw-dropping looks etc) have big egos along such lines of beauty, and so there's naturally a problem in terms of ego supremacy. The girl believes she's so beautiful (everyone tells her that) and so she would tend to subconsciously behave in a way that men should "worship" her ego and bow to her beauty, which of course is the normal thing that average looks and below guys would queue up to do, except the guy that is also very handsome with eye-popping beauty. Such a man has his own beauty ego and is very confident about his looks and believes it should be the other way round, and girls should "worship" his beauty, and of course they do -girls with ordinary looks of course. And so there you have it, pretty girl usually will not "bow" for pretty guy and pretty guy won't "worship" pretty girl, and so in the end, the usual vase is that they just walk away and avoid eachother and go bask in the praise and infatuations of those who are crazy (literally sometimes) about their stunning looks.

I'll use myself as an example. I'm not boasting here or anything like that but the fact is i'm a very handsome guy -heard that all my life till now. Now I don't chase after women, never did! In fact, I don't know how to do it and it really amazes me when I see some other guys chase women as if they're oxygen and their lives depend on having them. All the relationships i've had so far, though few, I was chased and didn't do the chasing. But the truth is it's a PROBLEM, an ego problem and it can be disheartening sometimes especially when you realize that you're so handsome and "ugly" girls (sorry for my use of this word; no abuse or taunt is intended whatsoever) keep chasing you but then the extremely naturally pretty ones get taken by "ugly" guys -very rich ugly guys of course!
True. I've been in same position before when I was much younger & was pretty pre-occupied with the swag thing. Expensive designer clothes, expensive watches, perfumes, sunshades, etc & I also got d height(almost 6,3"wink. Always having girls ask me out & it still happens now but not as frequent as before. Made my Ego pretty big & I loved forming for fine girls way back. Fine boys think they're too fine & as such(sometimes),do not feel they should bring themselves down. Pretty girls feel too pretty & feel all guys should fall for them. Ugly boys have nothing to lose & sometimes, end up with the fine gals when the fine gals got no one wooing them. Ego is just the thing.
It's your choice to wash or not. It's obvious you find the idea of washing a woman's undies humiliating and unmanly but let me let me ask; in a situation where you both live alone as man n wife ofcourse and she falls sick, too sick to even leave her bed...will you abandon her clothes/undies for when she's healthy enough to take care of them?
Clothes? Nope. Wouldnt throw it away. The machine would do dat.
Pants? Cant we just buy new ones? Moreover,Rockstation just mentioned the washing machine & in all honesty,I'm not aware pple use it for washing pants but then,I guess that would settle everything.

omega25red: If you cook for her what's the harm? if you clean the house is that a bad thing? don't you like living in a clean house? you are absurd for saying raise the kids for them. Aren't these kids yours too? you don't want to have an input in the lives of your children?
U dnt get it. dere's no big deal in doing some things for ur family(wife n kids). But when a woman starts saying stuffs like: we have to share d cooking, cleaning, washing, raising d kids 50/50 or if u dnt clean, wash, cook for me,u're nt romantic... It den gives me concern. A woman's job is to take care of d home & d mans job is to provide for d house n protect his family.

neyostica: Maybe you are not in zone coverage area, dial *135*5# to receive start of call notification and E0CN ON to 131 to receive end of call notification
I'm in the zone coverage area(lagos) & I usually get notification about how much my call should cost. That's how I was able to find out that the highest zone tarrif is 28k. However,I've realised that anytime I call,I'm charged twice the normal amt. For example, when I'm charged 24k according to d zone notification,by the time I call, they end up deducting 48k. Same goes for 4k,8k,12k,16k,20k,28k notifications. Moreover, they always show me the amount of minutes/seconds I spend & when I crosscheck it,it's usually double of what I should have been charged.
Phones › Re: Have You Noticed Mtn Overcharging For Calls? by chronique(m): 7:43am On Nov 26, 2012
Mine is worse. I'm on the mtn zone. Initially,I wasnt checking how much I was being charged until recently when I started getting embarrassed during calls as my credit goes out suddenly while having a serious convo. I took the cost of the highest tariff(28k/sec) & multiplied it by 60 which should give me 16.8/sec. But unfortunately, they keep charging me double of dat. That's 16.8 x 2 = 33.6 per minute. I decided to monitor my calls & I realised that truly, the mtn zone charges x2 of the advertised tariff. I've sworn to get a new line next year. Definitely not going to be recharging my mtn line next year. Mtn can go to blazes for all I care.

It's not always easy. I'm a song writer & believe you me,I have written songs(full) in minutes & some,in hrs/days/weeks/months... I even have lots of choruses I've written for over 5-7years now & I still haven't completed them. When you're stuck, the best thing for you to do is to leave it & go relax or start something else. If u force it,you'll end up writing junk. The good thing about leaving it is that, someday, one little thing will happen & before you know it,the ideas you've been looking for would come. Relax & take ur mind off it.
