Romance › Re: Guys Will You Take Back Your Gift After A Break-up by chronique(m): 1:19am On Nov 09, 2012
Am I a toddler? No. Am I Timaya? No. So why should I take back the gift? Cars, phone, etc can go & I dont care what she does with it. But an engagement ring? I'm surely taking that back(even it cost 1kobo). It's symbolic.
Romance › Re: 99.6% Of Nigerian Men Are Cheats!! by chronique(m): 11:34pm On Nov 08, 2012
BIGVAJINA: yes.
i know some of you wont believe this, but its the case.show me a single man that has never cheated?
so i can cofidently conclude that, all men are cheats.
thank you.
This is what happens when they ask pple to go to school & they end up going to eat kuli-kuli & dankuya under mango tree. By the way,who asked you to sample the 99.6%? Was it suppose to be a project in school?

@ OP: my advice to u is that you start doing HIV screening every two weeks for the next three months. Pple like u & ur girl are capable of spreading dreaded things... So after shaggin A,B,C,D & E, she comes to deposit all the gonococus n stuffs collected around inside u? Everything mixes up like concotion & u in turn, spread to others who spread to others...
Nairalanders, can you guys see how pple transfer HIV? U nor fear for ur life becos of one sour hole & fine face? May God have mercy on u!!!!!
Romance › Re: A Statement You Made To Your Partner That You Regretted? by chronique(m): 11:01pm On Nov 08, 2012
She cooked for us & didnt clean the fish properly(put the fish with the gills n dirt,in the food). As soon as I tasted the food,I felt it that the fish wasnt properly cleaned. Opened the side of the gill & saw the whole thing... I lost appetite in the food & while tryn to correct her,she started getting defensive. Then I got angry & asked her: "Is that how you pple eat fish dirt in ur house? Or is that how ur mum cooks it for ur dad?". She felt very bad & I wasnt happy later. I'd blasted her due to anger. I later apologised but she neva forgot. She recited it everytime we quarelled.
Smart move but did you ask her if she was willing to stick with you?
Well, she was but she was also putting some kinda pressure on me with the things she was saying. She's married now though but still confides in a mutual friend that she still loves me... Guess she was too proud to tell me she still cared when I asked us to quit...
Romance › Re: He Left Because He Loves Me by chronique(m): 11:29am On Nov 08, 2012
Sure happens. I once left an ex cos I loved her so much but wasnt financially capable to hold her then & didnt want her to lose out on a better suitor... Wasnt easy though. Sometimes, the best way to love is to let go.

Romance › Re: What Am I Getting Myself Into? by chronique(m): 8:26am On Nov 07, 2012
fxtimi: Like you said she was indecisive but i really like her friend. Did I forget to mention that I had been asking this girl out since she finished High school and i was fresh out of college waiting to go for my youth service(nearly ten years ago)? She said no back then because she thought i was trying to take advantage of her but at the time i was just looking for someone i could actually grow with and i saw in her some nice qualities plus our families go way back so i know the kind of home i was getting myself into. From the get go, i had wanted courtship, not some time wasting, going no where relationship. Between that period till date, we had dated other people, i even got engaged but that didn't work out. Now, her friend comes along and she and I have this vibe and am looking at her like the forbidding fruit because of my history with her friend. Is that fair? I NEVER EVEN SO MUCH AS KISSED THIS GAL when we sorta kinda dated angry
Did you say you've been asking her out for 10yrs? Scary!!!!
Romance › Re: Is Your Boyfriend A Terrible Gift Giver? by chronique(m): 8:19am On Nov 07, 2012
Well, don't think giving gifts to ladies should be a problem when there are lots of options available. I like buying perfumes for ladies most times but some sexy lingeries, teddy bears, customised jerseys, paintings, etc wont be out of place.

@ op. The reasons given by her parents are dumb & in my opinion, aren't strong enough to let u guys part ways. You two should make up ur minds & follow ur hearts...
Family › Re: Men! What's Happening To Your Birthright? by chronique(m): 9:45am On Nov 06, 2012
Well,I do not subscribe to a man not fulfilling his obligations @ home. Personally,I'll prefer to spend everything I earn on my family irrespective of how much my wife earns or not. I feel it's a man's job to provide for the home. However,if the man's out of job or something, then the woman can take up the responsibility till he's able again. However, ladies should know this: times are changing & the tide is turning against men. Women are getting better jobs & the most jobs now & as such,it's leaving a lot of men helpless financially. It means that the ladies need to step up now. I do not subscribe to/support a lazy man though. One more thing,I think women should learn to keep their issues @ home. If ur husband is mocked & called jobless, you've also been ridiculed.
Romance › Re: Can Your Ex Be Your Best Friend? by chronique(m): 3:12pm On Nov 05, 2012
I understand why a lot of pple say they cant be best friends with their ex(es) & trust me,I've experienced same. I currently have an ex who cant be a best friend to me cos we still feel strongly about each other & sometimes,we both hurt. But on the other hand,I've had an ex who later became a best friend to me. It basically depends on how you guys broke up & ur level of maturity. Different strokes for different folks.

Ok. Not my wife o. Talking about partners that are not yet married. Once you're married, you dont need to say nothing to no one.

Romance › Re: Can Your Ex Be Your Best Friend? by chronique(m): 12:26am On Nov 05, 2012
Can't happen
It can. Not every relationship breaks up with a fight. Take for example the girl who broke up with her ex due to genotype issues. They could become best friends. When maturity is involved, you guys can get over it. But it wouldnt happen for everyone. It all depends on how you handle ur break up.
