I'd rather provide all the needs and come back from work, relax and wait for my meal to be served, than ask her to share in the responsibility of provding, and start joining her to wash plates and sweep. |

My kind of woman(work, home, church;the homely type). People like us do actually get screwed over and that's the plain truth. Sorry you had to end up with a "dog"(cheat) who doesn't know what you're worth. napa: We've been married for five years and he has cheated all through these years. He keeps late nights without any tangible reason. He travels in and out of Nigeria for the purpose of meeting different women, he chats dirty with different women. He calls random women at home e.t.c. He is also very quick to apologise and promise to turn a new leaf anytime I confront him with evidences. The issue here is I'm getting really fed up of his kind of life style, I feel he is taking me for granted and just playing on my emotions because he knows there is nothing I can do after his apologies. He too relaxed with me and feels he can do anything and get away with it. I work and he does too but he knows I live a triangular kind of life. From work back home then to church, I'm more of a homely person. I'm beginning to think it's my fault for him not getting on his toes. I don't intend reporting him to any of his family members because he won't be chastised.
I need candid and matured advice please. |

Calling them idiots is an understatement. No wonder a lot of relationships don't work out. People don't understand that not everone can tolerate lies and deception. Once trust is broken,a union starts to crack. The woman misled him into marrying her by being deceptive and people can't see that fact;how do people conveniently lie to the ones they claim they love? Why don't humans have a conscience? How many more lies will he discover? How will he cope when he finds out more? I'm not saying it's ok to divorce her cos she lied but people have to understand that what she did isn't something that should just be waved aside, without repercussions. The day you lie to me and I catch you,I'd start doubting everthing you've ever said, and would ever say. Ranchhoddas: Gosh I was shocked at the comments. Can you just imagine those idiots? |
Family › Re: Will I Ever Get Married? by chronique(m): 10:05pm On Oct 03, 2016 |
Witch!!! You almost perfectly described me. Only thing wrong is that,I find it hard to have sex with people I'm not emotionally attached to. missjo: You have an ex who you say is PERFECT,still you could not love him.
My diagnosis is that you operate on a peculiar wavelength that isn't common, trust me I know what I'm saying. Every human has a wavelength they operate on. If you were to put on an eye apparatus that is capable of detecting frequencies and sending the visual to your eye,you will understand what I'm saying.
A lot of people operate on similar wavelengths that may have different frequencies, but the catch is that these frequencies can superimpose on each other and blend. Your case is that you have a totally different frequency as well as wavelength from most normal people. Yes you are not normal!
Don't get mad yet, that you're not normal is not bad,it just means you're part of the less than 5% of people in the entire planet who fall under this category. I've met one other guy like that on this forum, cant mention his moniker so he doesn't bite my head off but I follow him. These group of people actually find it hard picking someone to get married to because there is always a fault to be noticed no matter how PERFECT the person is.
I'm going to guess that you're an ambivert,i.e a combination of introvert and extrovert. Another guess is that u like to read anything and everything, and you find that most people do not really understand you even part of your own family. Another guess is that your close friends are very few,as in VERY few and you haven't made new friends in a while. Most of your friends are old friends. I also guess that you're someone who can have sex with someone and not add emotions to it,i mean just for the fun of it.
All guesses sha,so correct me on the wrong ones.
The solution is this, you should understand that for people like you, love is not what you need to marry. You only need to marry someone whom you would like enough not to see their faults or someone who is on the exact same frequency and wavelength as you,the latter is harder.
Are you into the science field,or do you just see yourself liking anything that has to do with figuring out how things work? |

Very true. I have experienced this in business with the yorubas. In fact, the last experence almost grounded my biz. It was so much of a setback and those who I thought were offering me a shoulder to lean on,eventually struck their knives in... I had to run away from all of them, and go start afresh. However, there are still a few loyal ones I can vouch for,to an extent. adbokus: I couldn't agree more. A fellow Yorubaman is the last person you want to trust if you want real progress. This is sad, but it is the truth of the traitorous nature of the Southwesterners... |
