At the heat of this DNA wahala, a married Ex called me on 6th of Jan to notify me that her son is mine and not her husbands. I remember vividly a certain Saturday in 2015, when we argued intensely over the paternity of the child during her pregnancy. She insisted it was her boyfriends, make una fear women. She swore she was single. Our calculations showed she was ovulating while we had some encounters. She proceeded to block me on all social media platforms and 2 months later, her friend informed me of her wedding.


The issue here is that I am married with two kids and expecting another, she told me her husband lost his job early 2018 and it has been a very rough patch for her family. she says she wants a divorce.

I asked for the boys pictures and it put instant tears to my eyes. Showed a few friends and the resemblance is striking so they said. The most painful of all, he looks not properly looked after.

I am doing fairly OK now, I wouldn't wanna to see my blood suffer, if you were in my shoes how would you handle this. My wife would not want to hear of another child...

I understand how you don't want your blood to suffer and I also understand how you don't want to tell your wife about another child. These days, most of us don't want to have anything to do with polygamy or anything that disrupts our family peace. I'd advise you go do a DNA test for the child and if he turns out to be your child, sit your wife down and explain everything to her. Thankfully, it happened before you met her and you didn't have any idea you had a child before marrying her. Make provisions to take care of the boy but don't bring him into your house so as to avoid scattering your home. As the child grows older, watch how your wife adjusts to the reality on ground and see if she's open to him coming in. I know you are the head of the house but you can't forcefully bring that child in without you both agreeing to it. She has a right to not want to be involved in a polygamous relationship and as such, you can't force a child from someone else on her to take care of. Just use wisdom and tact in managing the situation.

The thing is me and my mum almost got into a fight yesterday. Now pls let me explain something to you... I understand how yall love your mother's and would do anything for her, I wish I could say the same for mine.

Anytime my parents get into a quarell my mother won't want to talk or do anything again. She goes to work and comes back late, lies down and sleeps.

It's over 5 months, she doesn't contribute anything, doesn't say anything, does not concern whether the children eat or not because of their quarrel..

I don't fight anyone but if I have a quarrel with my friends or bro, 2 days or the next sef we are talking. He will stay in the room by herself after work while we'll be in the palour eating, She will be in the room sulking.

I once came home and my junior ones told me they were talking about something and laughing and mom came out and said sheybi they are all laughing and very soon they will start crying. Like what kind of mother says that.

If you are looking for woman that curse and swear no one pass my mom.
She has fought every of our neighbors, every last one of them. I can't count how many swear and cursed she has said to my father and even to we the children. My father's brothers and sisters, she has been keeping malice with themsince a month after her wedding. That's over 20 years ago. Something happend and she hates them. If you are seen with your aunt or uncle you'd be in serious trouble.

She has this toxic nature/character always wishing evil for others. If she doesn't like you and she sees you happy it's sadness for her... How can someone be like this.

Today one woman she has quarrelled with had a fight with her brother. My mother was happy, saying e don catch am, laughing and praising God. My father is sick and doesn't even have the strength. They don't talk, she stopped talking to me cause she says me and my dad are always planning what we will eat, that am now the wife abi.

I can't express how hateful I am towards this woman, my heart is full of bitterness towards her.. I can't possibly type everything that I personally go through because it would seem as if I came here just to spite my mother. No matter what, she is still my mother, I am just looking for advice.

I give the children money sometimes when they are angry and I cook the food cause she doesn't do anything. She's sees me as her enemy when you don't want to do it, we should come and be begging you. Everytime we get into a fight for very petty things I always go and beg her, you must beg else you and her are enemies she won't talk to you.. I greet her and she says next time I greet her she will swear for me. This negativity is too much, I am a very Sane person, I won't come and write all this if I ain't pained... I have a father I love and my siblings, but it's this woman now.

Pls what can I do, everyday everytime person go dey beg you for the most unreasonable and petty things, after swear and curses with bad words Don follow steadily.

I'm in my early 30s, I'm a christian, i'm single , never married and never had kid. I would have loved to marry in my early or late 20s but after several years of chasing true love when my heart was still tender, i've come to realize that love is selfish. Ladies i loved back then don't usually love me and now that i'm financially stable, every ladies seems to love me but i no longer have a tender heart, please don't get me wrong, i'm not wicked, i'm a nice person and i respect women alot but i no longer believe in true love or soul mate.

Don't make that mistake. You will regret it. Women are not what you think they are when it comes to issues like this. They'd put you through misery along the way with their wahala when kids start coming into the family. It gets worse as you grow older. Polygamy is not a good thing. If you love your life and you love peace, stay away from polygamy. I'm from a polygamous family and I know what I'm saying. The competition, strife, quarrels, suspicions, lack of trust, selfishness, greed, and wickedness that comes with it is something else. You wouldn't understand if you have not been there. What the comparison between black lives matter and Trump's rioters that desecrated the US Senate yesterday. Black lives matter is about the police violence and brutality against blacks in the USA. Black lives matter has support from most European capitals. Football players and the English Premiership in England till today still kneel before each match to show support for black lives matter. There are black lives matter signs in stadiums all over Europe.

Now, tell me what the Trump inspired violence on Capitol is about? They want to violently stop the Senate from ratifying results of election sent from the federating states to make Trump President? The states had already sent it their certified results, non sent 2 sets of Electors, so what is the business of Congress rejecting certified results from the federating states? What did Trump and his supporters hope to achieve?

I'm not trying to equate the two. Try and understand where I am coming from. I'm talking about the riots that turned violent and led to destructions. There were peaceful black lives matter protests that sent a message around and there were violent protests where blacks were looting shops and destroying properties. Those looting and destruction had nothing to do with the protest against police brutality. Trump might have goofed by encouraging his supporters to protest at the capitol Hill but he never asked them to invade the place and destroy things. I'm just looking at both incidents objectively without being biased. Politicians will always milk any situation to their own advantage against the opposition. Trust none of them.

What was the purpose of the visit?
Even as a female, it is still wrong to go visit the mother of the man you're going to marry empty handed.

This generation ehn, una matter de tire person. Everything is always a red flag for you people. Who made the law that it's a wrong thing for you to visit the mother of your spouse without buying them something? Yes I understand that out of courtesy, one should buy gifts and present them to your would be inlaw when visiting but it's not a must. Some people don't like the stress of buying things and carrying about and would rather give cash to the I laws... Please, let's pay attention to more important things and leave out all these mundane things that brings up unnecessary red flags. There are too many important things to look out for when marrying than getting angry over someone not bringing gifts especially when the person has visited before and brought gifts. It makes it look like they are hungry and broke.

Sorry to say but that was foolish of you. Better call him to apologize. The fact that he came empty handed today doesn't mean he will come empty handed tomorrow or are you and your family that hungry and broke to always expect people coming to visit you to buy something and bring for you?

My fiance wanted to come to the house to see my mum but I told him I won't be around because I'm about heading out to somewhere, so he asked me if my mum would be around, then I said yes and he said he would still go to see her and it doesn't matter if I'm not around.

When I later got home that night, my mum complained that he came empty handed. He didn't bring anything for her and she was the one who offered him her drink.

Although initially, I didn't see anything wrong with that but when my mum expressed her displeasure, I later called him to ask why he came to the house empty handed then I let him know I wasn't happy with him, that it would have been better if he didn't come. He tried arguing with me but I hung up.

Since then, we haven't spoken to each other nor visited each other. Was I wrong?

But to be honest, the black lives matters riots that was supported by democrats was more violent than this and led to destruction of govt properties and even looting of businesses and there was no such outrage as this. These politicians really know how to draw sympathy to causes they want people to support.

It actually depends but if you take short flights they should only cost a few hundred dollars, if you enter Europe you can take a bus to travel from one city or country to another. There are cheap bus services.

Concerning accommodation many hotels may cause about $50 dollars upwards but you can check Airbnb for cheap deals. I have seen good apartments on Airbnb for about $10 per day. Then you can hire a tour guide to take you around the city.

The Airbnb package should be just perfect since I'd be spending so many days... Thanks for the heads up.

Hi guys, I need some bit of information and advice. I'm thinking of planning a holiday trip for a month. 6 places I have in mind are Dubai, Qatar, UK(England), Germany, France and Turkey but I can rearrange if the cost gets too high. What do you think I should look at as regards the cost of visas, flight tickets, accommodation and all that. I know the shengen visa covers France and Germany but I'm not sure about turkey. Alternatively, I could switch Turkey for Luxemburg or Switzerland. My biggest headache might be getting the UK visa. If that doesn't come through, I'd probably just add one more schengen country and ex it. Which is cheaper? Flying to Europe first and from there to the middle east and back to naija, or flying to the Middle East and from there to Europe and back to naija? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
