brings tears to d eyes but life does go on |
Ruddie, even if he wasn't given a fair chance in Arsenal he had 3 loan spells where he had the chance of showing AW that he was Arsenal material but never showed enough to convince AW. Bedtner was offered loaned out and showed his prowess now it has landed him a professional deal, Aliadire try as he may just never did make teh grade, u can't question his work rate but he just wasn't it period, nobody said he was a bad player, maybe he's up to Middlesborough's standards but definetly not up to Arsenal's. When he went off, it just sounded like sour grapes |
Ruddie the guy was given a chance to show what he could do, no other club gives youngstars that sort of chance better than Arsenal does. He's not a bad player but was not in the league of RVP and Adebayor, plus he did not show much improvement over his 8 yrs at Arsenal. Think of it, he was there before Adebayor and RVP, yet they overtook him in teh pecking order, simply because they improved much more than he did, like i said 8 yrs no be joke, but he just wasn't cutting the cheese so i guess he had to go |
Call it trash or whatever u like these guys have made their money, a few smart ones like The Rock left before the sport killed them. Its not a controlled sport (Drug wise), heck its not even a sport cos they already know the outcome of matches, its just entertainment, crazy entertainment. the list of dead wrestlers keep increasing and most of them never die of natural causes |
LuvinGuy:How insane is that, apparently he has 2 other kids who where both luck y to be in Canada at the time this happened, else the head count would have been more, kids don't do drugs or steroids |
Ruddie u never know until u try, afterall no one knew Igwe would be the player he is today 8 years ago when he first signed, van Persie has shown enough signs of genius to be the next Dennis Bergkamp, lets just hope he matures quickly, as for Aliadire, i never really liked him, maybe im a bit harsh but he had pace but never used it to his advantage, like i said thanks for the 8 yrs of service but the grade at Arsenal is a bit higher than his so good luck to him, i hope he hits it big at Borough and probbaly held them beat United n Chelsea in the process |
Good riddance, see person wey dem give chance last season, apart from the Carling cup match against Liverpool, he along with Baptista were nonsense, he was with us for 8 years (Ok some of it on loan) and he says Arsene Wenger didn't give him a chance, last season the guys showed he wasn't all that, i applaud his long service but he's not in RVP's league, even Bendter looks a better player than him. |
Well its a curse cos they seem to be dying on an annual basis, obviously due to their drug ralated habit. Everyone knows WWE is fake, they don't call it entertainment for nothing |
LuvinGuy:Mr Know it all, i did see it in a UK newspaper before starting this topic, i only reffered to WWE co they were his employers. Sad to see him go, to think i watched hinm on tv only last week. The curse of being a wrestler, see how most of em die |
Wrestling fans, Chris Benoit was found dead at his place yesterday. He was found dead along with his wife and kid, it is said that he killed both his wife and kid before killing himself. What would drive a man to take his life along with his family's life, its not like he was poor, probably all that drug having an after effect on him. For more details visit www.wwe.com Even Vince McMahon who was presumed dead, showed up to deliver a speech, |
The BBC is a joke, their version of the news is whatever makes England look good, any news on Africa is always negative news. They think the world starts and ends in England, justifies my reason for not watching the news anymore. What they show isn't news at all. In my old man's words "Whatever benefits the British is their definition of justice" |
Good film, much better than most of the crap ive seen of recent, loved the climax in d end and the Oprah bit was real funny, i'lld definetly suggest u go see it if u haven't |
Very interesting list, couldn't really argue wit it and i can't really think of anyone missing from it, lemme digest the list first then i'll let y'all know if i feel anyone is missing. Nice one I-man |
make una let this girl be now. Is it a bad thing to want a prince charming again, irresepective of someone's belief and origin, everyone deserves the best in life, abi una no like better. Whats with all the judgement, abi una don turn God ![]() |
Ok then, that makes u an official greedy pig, shey one no do u |
dinozzo:Couldn't have said it better myself Skillful - La Liga Excitement - Premiership thats why skillful players hardly cut it in the premiership |
Ruddie, maybe La Liga or Serie A but the Premiership is no place for a painfully skillful player like Riquelme and i still insist on calling him chicken, if the heat in Europe was too hot for him what should players like Henry, Viera, Lampard, Terry who play almost every game for their clubs be saying, he's just another lazy south American who can't cut it in Europe so he looks to run rather than fight, reminds me of Ariel Ortega, a beauty on the ball but sulked like mad if things didn't go his way |
doyin13:Says who, Riquelme would be nothing in England, the land where defenders no go let u turn easily, the land of fast football, he will have no time to show his skills, why do u think Veron was so crap for united. Riquelme is a class player but too slow for my liking and his unwillingness to alter his game to suit the European style won't help[ quote author=RuuDie link=topic=59702.msg1202314#msg1202314 date=1181832561] hey chuckdee4, ever heard of "taking a breather" - thats exactly what this guy's doing & its going to be the better for him. look at Becks now & thats the kind of therapy we're suggesting for Frank Lamps too ! & boy, that was the final of the COPA LIBERTADORES - of which he could wound up being MVP; not some 5-a-side beach tourney !

Taking a breather, he's still playing football, as skillful as he is, he just wasn't man enough to take Europe by the balls, time is not on his side u know and him taking a breather is just a waste of 1 year in his career. I agree Lampard does need a breather but a breather will not make a crap player like Lampard any good . Once a crap player, always a crap player |
Such programmes exist in the UK and quite a few of them have been busted as fakes, if that happens in the UK can u imagine what Nigerians would do with such an opportunity. I've never liked such shows, if its too good to be thrue then it aint true |
Super Van Persie v Charlton, it was like he was suspended in mid air, how do u strike a ball that high so well? |
Watching the nigerian players my ass, the man doesn't leave his bedroom, besides if he was a decent enough coach he would be here to see where the up and coming stars are coming from, its not all about the foreign based players |
Honestly speaking i don't think i could, if i found out about her past life. It'll be hard but i don't think i'lld be able to live with her having that thought at the back of my mind |
WHy did he go to Boca Juniors in the first place, i used to like him as a player but taking 5 steps backwards aint a very bold statement, quite a lot of clubs wanted him a few seasons back, all for him to stay at Villareal and then go on loan to Boca Juniors, if scoring against weaker opposition in the Argentine league is his idea of progress then i sorry for what is left of his career |
Lil Kim - Kimberly Denise Jones Lil Scrappy - Darryl Kevin Richardson II Lil Jon - Jonathan Smith Young Jeezy - Jay Jenkins Young Jock - Jasiel A. Robinson Young Buck - David Darnell Brown |
300 (This film personified 'killing for fun') Saving private Ryan (Too many flying limbs) Brave Heart (Mad Scots who didn't give a monkeys, d way Mel Gibson died in teh end says a lot about the nature of the movie) |
Its based in Calabar back in the slave trade days. In a nut shell, its about a crew that came to get slaves in Calabar, in the process one of the crew members fell in love with one of the village girls. I won't spoil it for u, its not a bad filam at all. In fact the song 'Amazing Grace' originated from the ongoings in this film, watch it and let me know what u think. Its not ur average naija film; - no juju - no boyfriend cheating on his girlfriend - no cult boys/thieves/hired assasins - no long unecessary remenising Watch it and see if u like it |
Drogba should shut up, he's not as good as Henry to be demanding media attention like that, which kind leave, im no dey go anywhere, the guy is just seeking cheap publicity, since Henry has been heading the tabloids all week. The guy finally hit form in d premiership do u really think he'll be leaving in a hurry |
If u love one person u'll have eyes for no one else, even Halle Berry would look ugly in ur eyes if ur madly in love, so HELL no u can't be in love with 2 people at the same time, its just being greedy |
tonte:Don't end up chasing the right person for u away, cos of ur blind pursuit of vengence. Dust urself up and move on with life, u didn't like being hurt why would u want to do it to someone else, someone who's done nothing wrong to you |
Its just another wrestling gimmick but i think its a bit over the top, i thought it was real myself but i guess thats what wrestling is all about, Entertainment |
He's no where close to being the new Jay Jay, besides they play different positions, u can say he might b eth enext Oliseh (Oh how i miss those days |
Lampard, Gerrard, i can't believe this is an argument. Lampard is played week in week out in a free role by his coach, hence his impressive stats. To see who's the better player, lets swap them, put Lampard in Gerrard position in Liverpool n vice versa Gerrard will come up with the goals easily and will add more to his usual tally, Lampard on the other hand cannot do what Gerrard does, breaking up attacks, scoring isn't all midfielders are required to do, gerrard does both easily (VERSATILITY) Lampard although an impressive goal scorer (Against the weaker teams) is no where close to being a destructive midfielder. Money for hand, na Gerrard i go find first, heck even Essien is better than Lampard, i dey lie?, this argument shoul dbe Gerrard v Essien |
