The biggest mistake the FG made in the power industry is privatization of NEPA. The entire Generation plants cannot operate to the full capacity due to low remittance from DISCOS. The DISCOS incur about 60 percent loss in the course of their operations.
The problem is that the Generation can't supply enough Megawatts to the National grid even if they do the Transmission infrastructure cant bear the load. While majority of the people and businesses cant afford to pay for 24hour power supply due to high level of poverty. So stable power supply in Nigeria with current arrangement is just a pipe dream.

Nigerians and their low mentality , you have 35 million naira and you use it to do visa to another man's country to do petty and dirty jobs.. I mean 20 to 30 million naira. That's so foolishi , you can start a small firm , agriculture , real estate , poultry , fashion school , agro processing plant etc, there are thousands of things i can do with it and be successful . People run away from Nigeria because we are not producing anything , there are no jobs, we only import in the morning , afternoon and night , import import import . Running away with such amount of money is wickedness , use it and start something in Nigeria and employ 2 workers . If the multitude in embassies trying to japa can each , use the funds to establish small scale enterprises and employ one or two workers , the unemployment level in Nigeria will reduce .

Na village people do this one. Police?? God forbid . Why not use 1 year to learn handwork , tailor , electrician, plumber, almaco glass , welding , painting , *pop ceiling* , tiling, hair dressing, etc and be creative and live a good life . These handworks don stand test of time and av proven to be very lucrative . Na mumu dey join police . Especially if you no go higher institution

Lagos is a blessed land . Everything favors Lagos, she's also blessed with human capital, both indegen and residents. I'm proud of their leaders, even those that didn't perform greatly still did very well. Only peter obi, Alex otti and Dave Umahi are the only leaders from my region that did well.
