Johnrayban: Upwork is a freelance site. There's always numerous jobs there. New jobs every minute in various categories. To get a job, you would just write a cover letter then may answer some questions and attach files to show your past works or portfolio. if the clients interviews you and you are hired. Then go to go
There are some task that are long term some short term. Some pay for each hour you work for this especially for long duration jobs, And some has fixed price. If you are not okay with the pay for hourly or fixed price ,You can ask for raise.. The site has its own conversation tool for client and freelancer to interact So the business within the platform. Okay... What's the highest you earned...do they pay well...since gigs are by the hour... |

Maccarthy: It can be lower than that because nairaland registers emails permanently, though you can delete your account but you cannot reuse your email hence their increasing members stats.. It's a cham.
Even facebook loses users daily in great folds nairaland is not an exception eitherr.
I'm one of nairaland early users, at it's early stages you could get good advise from people. Now they just insult you just to get likes.
Just politics at frontpage, snakes and rapes though that was NL core values. What about tech business, career, programming none of them don't make frontpage anymore!
Who said i wanted to be hearing about politics every single day and rapes and birthdays? Am really disappointed.. NL lost a great user like me a long time ago. Adios Tell me about it...Me too don tire... No concentrate post on FP these days...politics politics sex... |

Multiplier7: Nice question
I have learnt a lot in this 100 days o
Books : I have read very nice books that I believed will and have positioned me for life.
1. The Richest man in Babylon 2. Think and grow rich 3. Rich dad poor dad 4. The millionaire next door 5.The parable of dollars
I have been able to stop working for money rather to make money work for me. That I should not mind liabilities which removes money from my pocket but to focus more on assets which puts more money in my pocket.
I have been able to increase my investment by learning about the stock market. I have three accounts now on Afrinvest, Meristem and Cowrywise.
Currently I own shares in Zenith bank, Fidelity and Dangcem ( I plan investing more in future)
I learned how to use Canva. Though I didn't do much.
Most importantly I learnt to save more, not only to save but to also invest and invest my gains too.
So far it has been so good. School should not open again. Our lecturers should just call us and ask us to swear that we understand all they have been teaching us.
NOTE: You can search for the authors of those books mentioned above if you care to read them for your good.
I am MULTIPLIER Hello bro could you guide me on the requirements on ...Afrinvest, Meristem and Cowrywise ?... Would really appreciate... |

Family › Re: Ladies And The Biological Clock by Chuky7(m): 2:33pm On Jul 11, 2020 |
Ariza: In as much as I support and preach freedom to live and make choices, especially when it comes to life time decisions like marriage and child birth I can't help but express concern over the connection between these decisions and society/environment.
In Nigeria we lack basic medical amenities to support childbirth or fertility and the available ones are so expensive for average Nigerian. Adoption is not widely acceptable, And living alone and childless at a particular age is a stigma, An unmarried Woman at specific age is cursed and so many more barbaric reasoning. Therefore a Nigerian Woman who wants to live her life on her own terms and time should consider the problems she might face in the future. Or she should do what she ought to do at "biological the right time".But if she can relocate to an environment which support her view or has the resources to boost her fertility when she's ready then it's all good.
Please as much as it's our right to express and use our liberty, let's be sensible while at it. May it never be too late for us ooo. Lol she had to end it with that statement... |
