What courage! I think this man already wanted to commit suicide so instead of wasting his life like that, he decided to allow the system to do it for him. Perhaps he can achieve something with his death.

May the Forces in God's Creation be with you brave soldierand work with you.

I'm sure you know Rome/Italians.
If they need the truth, those peeps can get the strongest of men to rat.
They fried men alive, did imaginable mutilations and so on..
.. BUT, none of Jesus's desciple ratted!
12 men cannot keep a lie till their horrible deaths.
Now, the question is "Where is the body"?
The answer is "There is no body"

Jesus resurrected!

Think about it.

Christ didn't not rise again in flesh. Even a typical well read roman Catholic or theology student knows that.

Welcome bro! I observed the whole scam since 2012. I almost became a priest. Being dead deep into religion, It took me years to pull out in 2017.

Since then... It's pure joy all through.

I came across the Grail Message and it has been my guiding light.

It is not a religion. It will help many of you here if you want.
If you don't want, just keep quiet. We all must tow our own path ourselves.

Please go for nursing, I repeat go for nursing. You can't go wrong studying nursing because as soon as you are done, you can register with the nursing board and you will get a job even if you need sponsorship. Vacancies in healthcare are endless. IT jobs are highly competitive and more so you need to find a sponsor. Just finished my msc in cybersecurity, no hope of finding a tier 2 sponsor. If I could start the process all over, I will go for nursing.

What?

The current scheme is the duration of your course plus 4 months post study visa. The proposed PSW scheme will hopefully be the duration of your course plus 2 years post study visa if qualified. I think this is a better benchmark for you to work with. (Note:some courses may include 6 months internship)

Thank you!

Please, I was told that if you are going for a 1 year masters course, You will get 2 years study visa.
If your going for 2 years masters, You will get 3 years study visa.

Is this correct?
Then, plus the 2 years post study visa.

I'm not eligible to sponsor my younger brother, so I want to transfer the money to his account. The issue is that the young man might withdraw some of the money before or during visa application.I intend putting the account on LIEN/RESTRICTION. but the money will be available to him when he travels to the UK.

Will this affect the Visa decision?

[/b]Not sure of what your definition of Big is. But see attached for list of Tier 2 and 5 Licensed companies. They are qualified to issue a COS to work under the Tier 2 Visa, one of the routes that could qualify for an Indefinite Leave to Remain(ILR)

@others can jump in and offer more advice if you need more

Cheers [/b]

Wow! I might have been exaggerating the difficulties in this walka. Imagine! It's even a 2064 paged document containing lists of companies that can sponsor tier 2.

Chai! No how, no how, I will send application to all.

So relieving. Getting Tier 2 isn't as difficult as I thought. Companies are just too many!

My children are in the custody of the french authorities, according to them I will never have custody of them till they reach 18 years old because I am an unfit mother. only God grace can help me to have them back. Thank you

What I'm about telling you might hurt. But it's the truth.

If your repentance is genuine,

Be thankful to the Almighty and for His Creation for letting you reap the fruits of your misdeeds while still here on earth thereby atoning for them.

The best you can do for yourself right now is to become good in both thoughts and deed. It's a new gradual maturing of the spirit. Not something that happens instantly.

If you can get jobs that tackle or help prevent young girls from taking the path you took as a young adolescent. That way, you atone faster.

You can also assist with children, help care for them.

Creation knows. Creation never forgets. Creation records. You will gradually lift up whatever curse that has fettered you.

Before you do this.
Have you forgiven yourself?
You have to forgive yourself first before the Almighty and his Creation and other people can.

Don't eat up yourself too much.

Hello House,

I got a conditional offer from Teesside University. I also got a mail from them asking me to apply for VC scholarship which is £5000.
Is the general scholarship for Nigerians different from this and automatically awarded to all applicants. I don't understand. I will appreciate any idea.

Thanks

Please, are there links? I got admitted to same school. I'd like to apply for the scholarship too.

Thank you.

Thank you Franklyn4, my first choice is Business Analytics, second is Data Science and they are both one year courses. I have decided to learn python and hopefully be grounded to a good extent by September.

Come let's put hands together, use same textbook, share codes and wriggle it out together.

Will we be able to spend 7,038,036,578 minutes on it before September?

I am currently in the UK and I am studying a Computer Science related course as well. What your friends said is the absolute truth! However I do not think the course is difficult, it is just the mode of study that is utterly different from what we are used to in Africa.

1. Graduate studies in the UK entail lots of INDEPENDENT SELF-STUDY, irrespective of the field (engineering, business, health, etc). Start developing the habit of reading lots of other textbooks after lectures, going out of your way to get more information on a certain topic, etc.
2. You absolutely cannot use part-time jobs (20 hours/week) to pay your tuition fees. It has been repeated several times on this platform.
3.Do not take this information as a means of discouragement. INSTEAD, let it help you to know what awaits you once you land here and start preparing yourself mentally.
4.AI is in great demand, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. And even if you do not necessarily get a job in AI, you will at least get one in software development.
5. From your typing, it sounds like you have already given up without even trying. Your mates told you to study programming now till September, that's roughly 5 months' time.

Me? Give up? Hahaha...

Was also introduced to Teesside University by an agent but prefer my siblings coming to London.
My past experience, came here on 2yrs visa when Post study wasn't available. Still remain here by grace of God and 2yrs visa duration. London is expensive but you can easily cut Yur coat according to the materials you have and not size. My work permit /national insurance number was done the same week I got to UK by my Uncle. Was frustrated to the fact that I was applying to Car wash/ Pakistan stores for job. Got a job 3months after arrival, but my colleagues had their's 6months after. If you don't want to rely for financial support from 9ja or anyone, I advise you to study in London or any location you can easily get a job. Choice is yours Bro and wishing you the best.

Tobexin is a Teesside student. I hope he sees that I've mentioned him and that he comes and Clears the air.

If there are no jobs in Middlesbrough, then, this won't make sense.

Teesside University recently gave an unconditional offer for MSc in Artificial Intelligence starting this September.

I applied for the 2 years option with advanced practice but the admission letter says it's a 1 year program.

I can study this for one year o, also, the cost isn't a problem. But... Isn't 2 years better?

I spoke with two friends of mine, one who is presently studying Data Science and the other Computer Science, both in one of the top schools there in the UK. I was asking them how they were coping. Their answers shocked me to the marrow! They are on PTDF scholarship, first class graduates from a federal University here in the East. Very smart guys! Believe me... But they complained bitterly.. Saying that the whole 5 years we spent in the University here in Nigeria Studying Elect/Elect was a complete waste of time.

They said they didn't learn a single thing from Nigerian Uni. They are now competing with Asians, Americans, natives, etc... Who already are masters of programming. People who started writing code at the age of 9. They have 24/7 electricity and Internet, there is nothing holding them back and that they are too young and are doing masters with them.

They both warned me that I ask my University to give me the 2 years with advanced practice practice option. In her own words, "Things happen so fast here.. Before you start getting a feel of the country and what is happening around you, one semester has passed. Before you catch yourself and know what is happening, another semester has passed and soon, your one year Masters will be over"

They showed great pity when I told them that I intend working to sustain myself. And they told me that when I come, I'd see for myself.

"Artificial Intelligence is still a young filled and most jobs available in this area, right now, are research jobs. By the time you start attending lectures, you'd find out that there are so many things you do not know and from the way they teach one has to understand completely. Reading and copy and paste won't help you here. So you will find yourself going far back to read up things you should have known before coming here. Otherwise you'd sound like olodo amongst your peers! Time is so precious here, considering the fact that you need to study the so many things you do not know, you may not have the time to work" one of them bloated out.

They have asked me to spend hours daily to study my courses before hand using the time I have now till September. They told me of how far behind their computer typing skills were and how greatly they have improved so far.

In general, I started thinking about myself... Am I prepared for all that?

In the end... I need to keep my programming top notch. And I have just started learning python.

I even started considering staying back this year just to do the intensive work I need to do in order to be able to get along but they told me that, if I'm able to invest at least 8 hours daily, from now till September, I'll be able to cope. The sooner I leave, the better other wise, the 10 naira they are using to sponsor me will turn to 6 naira by next year due to devaluation.

Have you a similar experience? Please, I'd love to hear.
