. . . and when we win? What becomes of you then?
I like that confidence. If you win, I'll duff my hat to you and continue looking for who else can bring Rom$ky down. You are not quite ready yet as the table proclaims. . .

As for me and mine: FORZA JUVE!
PoliticsRe: What Would You Do To Improve Nigeria If You Were The President by Chxta(m): 7:46pm On Sep 15, 2006
If I were made president today (which won't happen anyway) a lot of new jails would be built. There are a lot of people running free back home that need to be guests of the government. Starting with the top two men in the country.

After that, there would be a total revamp of the judiciary. I think a lot of our problems stem from the fact that Naija is a lawless land. And why won't it be lawless when there are so many operating under the belief (true belief thus far) that they are above the law.

Once that is sorted, I will face NEPA (I am an electrical engineer). If I can successfully sort that out, I will deem myself to be a successful president.

Then there is the issue of Cameroon. To which I can only say: si vis pace para bellum. . .

My dear bros Nutter, gi ka mu me ngi? What have I done to destroy Naija? I have thus far in my life proudly proclaimed and held up Naija as you very well know. My profile on an extremely international forum. . .

I take exception to being mentioned in the same sentence as Nzeribe. This could get very personal.

And besides, in that list you mentioned, only KK (read Obj for those who may not know) has actually worked for one Nigeria. FAN has done more to destroy Naija than most, and Uba started out with your (my) state.

cheesy grin cool Touched a nerve, did I?

For real, dear. It won't work though. We won't allow it.
Yes you touched a nerve. A strong one. Better pray to God and all the Saints that ManScum don't beat you guys Sunday, you won't be safe from me if they do!

O brother. . .

I'm not in the mood to start comparing histories with you. Juve is a more distinguished club than the Arsenal has ever been and probably ever will be. As we were saying please. . .

Most Nigerians don't want the country divided.
SportsRe: Juventus: Can They Return To Serie A In One Season by Chxta(m): 7:12pm On Sep 15, 2006
Yes, you do.

Meanwhile, the Italian Olympic Committee finally agreed to hear our case with a view to reinstating the stolen 17 points. Thieving bastards. They did it only after the season started so we don't go back to Serie A. Animals. Crooks. I could say a lot more. . .
SportsRe: Gallas To Sue Chelsea! by Chxta(m): 7:08pm On Sep 15, 2006
. . .beginning of the end for Chel$ki. By the time players begin to realise that the club is not interested in them really then we don't need a prophet to tell us that players would start balking at the idea of joining them. You called me Chx, do you happen to know me IRL?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Man Utd Vs Arsenal: The Die Is Cast! by Chxta(m): 7:04pm On Sep 15, 2006
To all Arse-nal fans mainly Nutter, Kitaun and especially Lordimpaq (we know one on one), this is not beef. Only one club I don't like in England at the moment and that is Rom$ky's club.

Let's face it, at the moment, ManYoo are better placed than you to end this emerging hegemony. . .
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by Chxta(op): 6:57pm On Sep 15, 2006
TayoD:
Chxta,

While this conflict may have been caused primarily by perceived injustice, the reaction and violence that accompanies it is a result of a religious agenda. That is my point here.

And it is that same religion that provides the fuel for the crisis to have deteriorated this far. Assuming there is a denounciation and a curse in the Koran for all who kill others, do you think we will have the suicide bombings at the rate that we are experiencing today?
Prove it. I don't have the energy to argue at the moment, but don't tempt me.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel vs Hezbollah/Lebanon by Chxta(op): 6:49pm On Sep 15, 2006
Sijien, you really shouldn't be here, why not try the religion forum for a change and leave this discussion to more open minded people. . .

David, we have to remove that mindset that this is a religious war. When we do that we can move forward. This conflict is about the displacement of a people from a territory that they had come to see as their own by use of brute force, and the concentration of said peoples into a camp. Get the drift?

I'll be back here soon. . .

Actually, Genial is the one who doesn't have a point. If third class graduates as well as first class graduates can succeed, the point is that third class graduates should not be written off as failures. That point is quite clear.
You just made his point.

@ Bolaoni, Jackal, Justkunmi,

I think we should compile the list of all gunners on Nairaland that have over-estimated the strength of their weak team.
Lets feast on these freaks relentlessly and taunt 'em till christmas.
Naturally, i will really like to take apart their executives(Priscilla, Debosky, Loyika and Kitaun)
Bolaoni and Jackal can pick the others and tear 'em apart until they bow down to a club greater than the shit club they support.
These are the fanatics to crucified if Arsenal loses on sunday:
P.S.-They shall be declared Nairaland's most wanted if any of them fails to show up 72 hours after the match.

Olodo(Lehmann)
Priscci(Eboue)
Kitaun(Gallas)
Debosky(Flamini)
Mukina2(Kolo Toure)
Under18(Hleb-can't speak English)
Sil(Fabregas)
Nutter(Rosicky)
Vichel(Gilberto Silva)
Olumide7(Robin Van Persie)
Slary(Adebayor)

Subs.
Fimmy(Walcott)

AND
Loyika(Arsene Wenger)

Please i beg every United fan on Nairaland not to touch some sacred cows after Man Utd's victory on sunday.
These lads don't allow sheer patriotism to club to affect their judgements.
The list below are the sensible and objective gooners who should not be taunted because they know what the time is.

Sir Lordimpaq(His Royal Knighthood)
Nightrider(The wise man)
Pie1ect(The Genius)
Bagoma(The Sorceress)
Interesting list Huc, I am most interested in your Rosicky. . .

PoliticsRe: World Bank Classifies Nigeria As 'Fragile' Country by Chxta(m): 12:50pm On Sep 15, 2006
The World Bank has listed Naija and Angola as being among 26 countries on the brink of imminent collapse. Idiots. Have you noticed that it is countries that are friendly with 'anti-US' countries such as China that are always on the brink? I saw a report that said Red China wouldn't survive the cultural revolution. This was back in 1967, and where are they now? These same 'westerners' said that Saddam has WMDs. Where are they now?

PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Ready For Democracy? by Chxta(m): 12:40pm On Sep 15, 2006
I have only one response to this topic.

In 1947 India got independence. Shortly after the country split. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now let's look at the larger two: India and Pakistan. In one the military till this day has remained in the barracks, even though 4 (5 if we count Mahatma Gandhi) of their leaders have been assasinated in bloody and vindictive power struggles. In the other, the military has occasionally intervened.

Which is better now?

Democracy is a painful and slow learning process. You know how many US presidents were assasinated on the way to where they are now?
PoliticsRe: Should Atiku Resign? by Chxta(m): 12:04pm On Sep 15, 2006
Of course he should resign. But then, most Nigerian politicians don't know the meaning of the word honour, so. . .

Nice blog by the way.

CareerRe: Tony Elumelu Of UBA Graduated With Third Class? by Chxta(m): 11:52am On Sep 15, 2006
Genial:
@ Topic,

What has the fact (if indeed it is one) that Tony Elumelu graduated with a third class got to do with anything? Did you know that Albert Einstein was told when he was in high school that he was dumb? Or perhaps you know that Andriy Shevchenko was left out of the football team of his choice during his earlier years for not being good enough at football?

Does that affect the fact that Festus Odimegwu graduated with a first class, Mozart was a child prodigy who wrote his first symphony at 6 - and remained a prodigy till his death? Or that Condoleeza Rice has consistently excelled in every area of endeavour, culminating in her appointment as a US secretary of state?

What is your point exactly?
