He's right, you shouldn't be arguing that.

We have more untrustworthy Nigerians than we have of Indians.

Sold KPTI & EPZM
Why?
When you sell, you give us some reasons in case some of us are holders in the same and may want to benefit from the any ?secret info you have about the stock.
Here, unlike in the NSE, it's we versus America.
There's nothing to hide. And we watch each other's back.

I also have same.
Be prepared to sell this week once you meet you target on or before the house voting.
The fundamentals are not good at the moment, compared to others like CGC.
It's just moving with the news, and may go steeply down with a negative news.
Very good only for day trading and swing trading.

Please guys what do you think about legalisation of marijuana. I have some pot stocks and I've made some decent profit. Is it time to sell or I should hold on a bit for legalisation of pot. Do you think it'll happen?
It depends on your objectives.
If you're for short term, and like your gains so far, you can sell all or some.
Alternatively, you can hang on and watch carefully the outcome of the voting on legalisation coming up on Wednesday.
Prices will sharply move down or up depending on which side the votes go, and being low cap stocks, the movement could be very steep(prices are already moving up in anticipation of a favourable outcome, but no one can predict the exact outcome).
If you're in for a long term, you may decide to hang on irrespective of what happens on Wednesday, and pray the Biden's administration will bring full legalisation in 2021,

Hello guys, I'd like to understand what this is all about? Where do I start?

Is it profitable?

Is it hard, easy or depends?

Where and how do start?

Can anyone do it?

What amount of money can I start with?

Thanks.
You have posted this twice, and I like the way it's been ignored.
No one successfully starts stock trading like this.
Can't you read through the thread to know what it's all about??
Also, go to 'Investopedia' and start reading. Lots of readings are required.
Thereafter, you can come over here for clarifications.

I do not think fractional shares work on trove. If your money is not complete the trade doesn't go through (from my experience). Is there a way around it? I want to jump on the TSLA train...or is it gone?
Buying fractional shares works on Trove if you're buying at marker price.
It doesn't work if you're buying with a limit price

Haba. When did I claim to know more than Buffet? Abeg o. You can continue to ‘learn’ from Warren Buffet quotes and be applying them to an inefficient and volatile stock market like Nigeria’s na grin. A market where the activities of insiders, speculators and big boys largely determine prices. You are gonna learn the hard way son.

Honestly, I’m more concerned about any newbie that will not know that you are a learner and think you actually know what you are talking about. Then follow the nonesense that you write and lose all their money. If not for that, I wouldn’t bother at all with your naive posts.

But ‘facing my front’ now sir...

Hi NLers, I need your advice, Am planning on setting up a hedge fund/private equity fund that invests in nigeria. I have already developed an investing strategy that gives a turn over of 40% per month on average, but I'd like to diversify the portfolio to other investments available in nigeria....not to make this long; I need your honest advice on investing in agriculture, real estate and transportation in Nigeria, although not limited to these, I'd like to know the possible risks and government regulation concerning hedge funds in Nigeria.
Nna, which investment will be able to yield 40% interest per month in that dead economy??

ultron12345:
Hmmm... This is a good point you raised oo.
Nigeria wouldn't be able to increase capacity just like that because of OPEC quotas. Such increase will even cause a fall in prices.

Well, I think Nigeria should go ahead and ramp up production. If opec wants production cuts, those cuts should be targeted at the richer members like Saudi Arabia and UAE. Saudi Arabia has 30M people with quota of 11MBPD while Nigeria with 200M people is given quota of 1.9MBPD. The UAE with 9M people has production of 3.5MBPD. Which kain rubbish be that?

Hopefully, another war breaks out in the Middle East soon so it can affects some oil production facilities there, reducing output from the region. Let us also pray against peace in Libya, before those ones increasing production. Another problem is this Biden. He will now go and make peace with Iran, remove all sanctions, and before you know it, Iranian oil is on the market. Hopefully, the Iranians refuse to return to the nuclear deal as a sign of respect to the murdered General.
This is a very stupid statement. There won't be any war in the middle east, you selfish Nigerian. OPEC is not giving the quotas based on population. If you like, don't start preaching in favour of birth control. Continue giving births indiscriminately until you hit 1billion so that OPEC will allocate 500M bpd to you. You should be happy those countries agreed to stick to their various quotas, despite the fact they can still live very well if crude crashes to below $30 pb. Can Nigeria survive if it sells at below $30, which is what you'll get when those countries decide to go against OPEC and start producing in full capacity? To an average Nigerian, the whole world is conspiring against us.

Those Nigerian banks steal from the people.
I heard they've now introduced charges even for failed transactions.
Where I live, banks hardly make deductions from your money even after transactions sometimes, and when they do, it's always an insignificant amount.

Most stocks usually start pulling back from the PM gains shortly after normal trading resumes

That's not the answer the OP needs.
It's your type that usually travels with "common sense" as their only skill and then engage in crimes abroad, thinking they're smart, and soiling the country's image.
What's the "smartness" in robbing and scamming/duping people?
If you don't have any skills, please, do not dream of travelling, because the Nigeria has already had enough bad image from idiots like you.

Thank God many more people are now recognizing that skill acquisition is a necessity for travelling.

Already making over 18% in premarket!
These PM and after hours markets are big cheats on us who are outside the US
In most cases, the PM gains gradually come down during normal trading hours after skyrocketing in the PM.
Same applies to unfortunate news that crashes the price during PM or AH periods, while we watch helping, waiting for trade to resume before we can sell.

Is there a way we can participate in the PM and after hours(AH) tradings?

How I wish these our religious leaders, who "see" election outcomes in Nigeria and overseas, could also be able to "see" and tell us which stocks could appreciate like this in a given timeline.

Obviously, Citron is looking for opportunity to enter hence the terrible price target. Although I am a day trader but do swing trade some good stocks for maximum RR like $NIO. This made me do some research about the company and the fundamentals look pretty solid. Thus, I do not see their ER falling short of market expectation rather the opposite which if this is the case the journey to $70 price target by December has just started.

Even hedge funds and institutional investors are either taking or increasing their position an indication of positive market sentiment in the stock. For instance, ExodusPointCapital Management Ltd, Allianz Asset Management etc increased their ownership stake in the stock.

Nevertheless, we allow mr market do its thing.

Enough said.
Good response!
