ChinenyeN: My Chi Forbid.
Anyway, Chyz, anyone with proper understanding of this issue knows that mode of speech does not equal ethnicity. Obiagu1 basically gave a list of broad mode of speech categorizations and then labeled it "ethnicity". Then he continues on by stating that the Igbo are not concerned with socio-political groupings, when obviously our decentralized, non-cohesive nature states otherwise.
He's not serious. I hear where you are coming from to an extent but what constitutes one's "ethnicity"? |

birdman: Reading Campbell's articles, I sometimes get the feeling he is disappointed his continuous dire predictions keep failing.
Here is how it will likely go down: Forget the nairaland talking heads in the South East (you know who you are): when rubber meets road, no one is going to vote IBB or any Hausa over GJ. GJ will get a chunk of the southwest but generally lose to AC. IBB and Buhari aren't winning jack in the southwest. Buhari will carry his usual ANPP states in the north. Ultimately GJ will win due to the fragmented regional power blocs. He will only need to pick up 2 or 3 states in the South -south which he will do handily.
Aftermath: The southwest will be fine with GJ winning, all they really want are AC governors with progressive ideas. Northerners may whine, but usurping a likely uncooperative igbo COAS requires more balls than they can muster. Do this and Nigeria is dead, for good. The North would pretty much revert to a land-locked Niger++ in another decade. Igbos will still talk about Biafra and complain of marginalization as usual, even if they fill half of cabinet posts. Nigeria will not crumble. Im confused. If the north reverts to a "niger republic" meaning they go their way,who would there be to marginalize the Igbos? |

It seems like historyy is playing over again. This state of emergency in Ogun is starting to remind me of Operation Wetie, the head of the army is Igbo, the niger deltans are are committing militancy like they did back in the 60s, the north is fighting over control of the country as they were also doing back in those days, and on top of that the middle belt is having high clashes as back in the 60s. This is kind of strange. |

Ayatullah: @Beaf, You have not addressed the issues I raised, you have achieved nothing with your irrelevant words and picture. Infact you are the ape in that picture, because you have denied you have a creator! The Quran spoke of your kind when Allah says: BE YE APES DESPISED!!!(Though you are human and 'educated', but for your arrogance and denial of your creator).
The last time I saw you on TV you looked so weak, my prayer is that you meet your creator with total submission, or else you are ruined, despite your worldly achievements. Ahoy bloody seadog! So now your misquoting the quran? Your not a muslim so give it up.Stop trying to imitate arabs. |
