funny guy. Are you refering to Ilaje LGA? Who told you that it only comprises of Ilaje-yorubas people and not the ilaje-ijaws? If you think any oil from the coast line is going to your dudu republic you are kidding yourself, especially now since Tompolo controls the waterways
TravelRe: Denial Of Licence To Airlines: Oduah Has Sectional Agenda - Rep by Chyz2: 7:25pm On Aug 29, 2012
Katsumoto: In my initial post, I at least considered other factors other than money.

I considered the safety of passengers who have to journey from Enugu to Abuja. I also considered the economics of such a maove and that's why I started with if it is not economically viable for the airlines to fly to enugu, then the consumer suffers. Mr economics, do you understand why I made that statement? If the minister insists that the airlines use Enugu as a base and then refuse, the consumer suffers because competition is refused on the routes those airlines want to fly and as such, price doesn't go down as it should do.

With regards to your second comments, unless you can prove that a great percentage of those flying through Abuja and Lagos are from the East, then you have no leg to stand on. There is an international airport at PH (which is in the East) and more flights would operate from there if the demand was there.

However, if your point was that absolutely no one should travel more than an inch to fly international, then I suggest you contact the minister and advise her to situate an airport in every local government, starting with yours.

You must be a child if you think that opening an airport in a city is what opens it up to international business.

I don't engage animals in debate and I will simply ignore you if you respond with another post filled with idiocy, brigandry, and insults. I have never debated with you before and I don't understand why you started your post in such a manner unless you are one of those with multiple IDs.
PH International airport is in the East, right? Then which section is Asaba International airport? Also, whether the airport brings in international, national, local,or village business is besides the point. It will bring in revenue and makes the lives of many many easier. That's what matters.

The demand for PH(Omagwa) airport is actually high. In fact, too high. The place is congested, but I guess you wouldn't know that for obvious reasons.

Yorubas and there inferiority complex. Can't help but laugh. I actually enjoy it. Exactly why Igbos will continue to feel that they are better than you all. Any Igbo man that you come across just keep in mind that he see you as beneath him. Can't wait till you all(yorubas) get your own country so the orgy of killing each other can increase to the way it was back in the day of your "Yoruba civil war". Lol
TravelRe: Aviation-Minister Blocks Foreign Airlines From Abuja by Chyz2: 5:47pm On Aug 28, 2012
Kobojunkie: Corrections to your post

a) The East was never denied an international Airport. Long before the renovation of Enugu started back in 2009, the East had PortHarcourt and Calabar airports.

b) People who fly international SHOULD NOT BE FORCED to have to connect when all they want is a direct flight as is the case with many who fly into airports like Lagos and Abuja still. Airlines such as Delta(American), Lufthansa(FrankFurt), and Air France(Paris) have been serving some of the Eastern Airports for a while now.

c) It is silly to argue that because people, in the past, have flown into Lagos and had to connect to other parts, then it is sensible to now force the Lagos/Abuja fliers fly into Enugu and then connect back to Lagos and Abuja.

d) Enugu does not need to FORCE people from other parts to fly their way in order to boast transports from that location. The Airport can work to at least sell itself to it's own people so they patronize airlines with flights directly to Enugu.
East? So what does the Midwest have?

Soldiers arrested for plotting assassination, coup d’etat: the problem with the 2nd Amendment

By Alex Moore 4 hours ago

AP reported today that four U.S. Army Soldiers were arrested in a plot to assassinate President Obama and overthrow the federal government. While this operation remained in the planning stage, the group did actually kill a fellow soldier and his girlfriend to eliminate the possibility they’d leak the group’s plan.

Ok look, no one else seems to be saying it, so I’ll just come out with it: This is part of the problem with how freely we throw around our Second Amendment rights—it blurs the line between patriotism and terrorism.

I’m not going to blame the extreme right for inciting this kind of plot with their talk of taking up arms the way Rush Limbaugh managed to blame Obama for the Empire State Building shooting on Friday. No one made these guys kill their former comrade and his girlfriend, and the blame for their craziness is theirs alone.

But it’s impossible to ignore how close their rhetoric is to Republican calls for civil war should Obama win re-election. And I’m not talking about Michele Bachmann’s old quote about being “armed and dangerous” on taxes. Last week an elected judge in Texas madie it clear he wasn’t talking about metaphors: “I’m talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms, get rid of the dictator.” And the Virginia Republican Committee recently voiced similar sentiments.

Not to blame these people for the arrested soldiers’ actions, but the Second Amendment creates the question: where’s the line between “taking back the country” and actual treason?

This group called itself F.E.A.R., or, “Forever Enduring Always Ready.” One can infer from their name and the details of their plan to overthrow the government that they were also of the mindset to “get rid of the dictator.”

The group had assembled $87,000 worth of guns and bombs, and planned to assassinate the president, take over Fort Stewart in Georgia, and presumably start a new governing body operating outside the U.S. rule of law.

Whether you call this an act of insane terrorism or patriotic valor is an question of judgement. And not only is judgement subjective, but it’s apt to change over time. John Brown, the abolitionist who joined a slave revolt in 1856, was widely seen as a terrorist then and is remembered largely as a hero.

Sure, in theory the Second Amendment is great—if a government stops representing the will of the people it should get overthrown. But we don’t live in Egypt. We haven’t had anything remotely resembling a dictatorship since this country started. Perhaps we should all cool the jets a bit about the militias and the uprising.

Then again, we do live in a still-pretty-racist country with its first black president. It’ll be interesting to see if the Second Amendment feels less culturally urgent if Romney wins the White House.

Good. Adamawa is an area that went through three years of an international war. It's citizens were given on 20 naira back after the war. We cannot expect it to be on the same level as the SEeastern part of nigeria which witnessed no type of war, discrimination, its citizens' monies looted. This is why the SEastern part of nigeria is left with the lowest poverty rate and highest literacy rate in the country. You can't compare the two. Adamawa's situation is definitely understandable.

He is out to cause ruckus in the ss/north, and possibly trying to cause amaechi to lose his seat of President of the NGF and replace him with one of his puppets. First they say Amaechi is going to tag with Atiku now Obj is saying he will tag with Lamido. None of them, lamido or amaechi, has even said by the least that they were going for anything. Amaechi stands no chance anyway his tribe, the ikwere, are too small so besides them who will support him? lol

Katsumoto: The Biafrans on Nairaland are a joke.

Can't respond to simple challenges

Hate Yoruba folks, call them names; laugh at Yorubaland displaying pictures of ancient but dilapitated cities but still continue to troop to the west like Isrealis looking for the promised land. If you hate Yoruba folks so much, why don't you avoid it like a plague? There are airports and seaports in the East.

Believe that Max Siollun and Nowa Omoigui are hack writers/historians but Femi Fani-Kayode, a junkie, is a credible historian.

Believe that Awo made a pact with them but can't point to where and when that pact was made.

Don't understand the use of conditional clauses

They seized on Fani-Kayode's write-up without requesting evidence but as soon as Kats presents evidence of Biafran tomfoolery in war, Ojukwu charging landing fees to charities delivering free food to starving Biafrans, and questions the noisy and boastful Biafrans about their perceived bravery, they resort to emotional blackmail, crying like little biatches, insults.

Well I got news for you folks, I am not here to make friends; I am here to set the records straight. You are free to carry on with the distracting tactics and irrelevant points.

If dont start something, there aint going to be nothing.
The irony of you is amazing

7. Segun Maiyegun
