Oh ok. I see. They are trying the same nonsense they tried with the PH waterfront.

Obiagu1:
Yes it means groundnut too.
Not kalabari-Ijaw because we know they share our words. Im talking about pure western Ijaw. Also, Apapa may not one have one meaning.
PoliticsRe: Yorubas Do Not Own Lagos, The Ijaws Do. The Mahins, Ilajes And Aworis Are Ijaws by Chyz2: 12:57am On Feb 19, 2011
Obiagu1:
I never said Igbos own Lagos, but Apapa is not from the Ijaws. Igbos are merchants and trade on everything so it will even make more sense Apapa was name because it it what the Igbos call groundnut, not named because an insignificant population of Ijaws call groundnut apapa too.
Do you know if it has a meaning in Ijaw?

Obiagu1:
It's a lie! Igbo word for groundnut is Apapa/Opapa. How can it be named after a tiny group when a lot of Igbos were already in Lagos?
Obiagu, we may own lagos, but it is not our land, especially not Apapa(Ijaw land). cool
PoliticsRe: Yorubas Do Not Own Lagos, The Ijaws Do. The Mahins, Ilajes And Aworis Are Ijaws by Chyz2: 12:48am On Feb 19, 2011
Apapa,Lagos is definitely Ijaw though, there is no doubt about that. It's even in the name.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Eyes Northwest, Southwest 33 Million Votes by Chyz2: 9:28pm On Feb 18, 2011
It still baffle me how 18 million people happened to register to vote in the NW(a pro-northern president region) but only 8 million in the NE(a somewhat pro-Goodluck region). Something smells fishy. On top of that, all of a sudden 15 million people are "claimed" to have registered to vote in the SW.It is not such of a surprise that that is so because Bakare is Buhari's VP, meaning more support for a northern presidency. I definitely don't believe those figures. Middlebelt 8 million, SS 8 million, and the SE 7 million. We all know that is BS. Let the rigging begin!!!

Lets just be glad Goodluck has no control over CBN decisions. Sanusi is a smart man, if it is not good for the economy, he won't allow it.

Ijaws vs. Itsekiri[/s]

Ijaws vs. Ibibio

Ijaws vs. Ikwerre (Igbo)

Their fighting has got them nowhere, as far as taking land. Both the Ilaje and Itsekiri got the OPC to come and punish them. The Ikwere(Igbo)came with cults and punnished them plus Gov. Amaechi is driving them completely out of Port Harcourt. Im starting to notice that Ijaws attack groups whose name state with an "I" grin.

You are right, but the person I am talking about is Igbo, either born in nigeria and lived abroad for some time, or born and raised in abroad but has love and passion for Ndigbo.

Ebe ka anyi si ebe a ga eje? If we must look abroad for a leader.
Well, there is no particular place but, you will know the person/people by their stripes and passion. People like us here in the U.S. are going to have to be the ones, we have the zeal and love. People like Udezue are the ones, hey, it may be him, who knows? People who have been outside of nigeria and have reshaped their thing and can look from the outside in are those people. Out, of a crowd that one person will come out, but definitely they ain't in nigeria,at least the ones who were born raised and never left the country/Africa.

1, THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE IGBO: Never denied Igbo.
2. They say they are from Ancient Benin: Meaning, that there were Igbo people in the ancient Benin Kingdom.
Under Oba Ewuare the Great, some of this Igbo groups migrated eastwards as a result of one thing or the other.
o ok, thanks for the clarification.

Andre Uweh:
It is always the Ijaws claiming how they founded Ndokiland. Always rewriting the history of a people. How many Ndoki people believes that. Ndokis claim that they are Igbo from Ancient Benin Kingdom. This Ijaw nonsense must stop now.
Is there any proof to this or is this another way to deny themselves of the Igbo ethnicity?
