I don't mean to derail your thread . I totally understand your point about private driven development and I support it , but my point is that the government have the money to effect change but they are corrupt and lack unity of purpose . And with that ,they may even frustrate private efforts .
Example of disunity of purpose , Why not build only one world class international Airport like this sketch below instead of many international airports 10 minutes away from each other ? And I ask this question not only for the Igboland but Akwacross and others as well. I heard the Cross river Governor is building a cargo airport at Obudu .

If we had excellent land transportation, then it would make sense to build one international airport and everyone could get to it within one or two hours. Since we don't have excellent land transportation, nor do we have the technology to manage a gigantic international airport like New York or Atlanta, it makes common sense to have small international airports the size of Kano or PH around Nigeria. Look at Lagos airport and how clogged up the place is. Its always a nightmare to use that airport because there are always too many people, not even enough chairs for people to sit down talkmore relax and wait for their flight. That is the typical Nigerian mindset that wants everything to be located in one city without providing adequate facilities for the passengers that will naturally pile up if everything is in only one airport.

The only thing is that those airports can be specialized in one route or two. For instance, PH can specialize in Frankfurt/Paris Route. Enugu specialize in Addis Ababa / London route. Anambra specialize in Shanghai/ Mumbai/ Rio de Janeiro route etc. In that way, specific airlines go to specific airports in manageable numbers to prevent them from clogging up like the situation we have in Lagos.

Op, ASK YOURSELF 3 SIMPLE QUESTIONS:

1.) Was Biafra ever re-integrated into Nigeria?

2.) Did the Hausa/Fulani ever stop the war since 1970?

3.) Can you honestly say that the same way the north and west received federal investment since 1970 was the same equitable way the former Biafra region did?

If the answers to the above are "No", then why are you feigning "surprise" that Biafra want to go? All your loud wailing about Biafra/One Nigeria is because you are desperate to use their OIL! Else, you had more than 50 years opportunity to build unity and you rejected unity.

Who is inciting Ugwuanyi about herdsmen? The herdsmen simply need to stop invading farmlands, stop killing farmers and annexing their land as grazing fields.

Nobody will come to any ranch bought by any herdsman to tell them how to do anything. But the current fulani strategy to simply Igbo kill farmers and forcefully take their land for grazing is coming to a full head soon. Ugwuanyi or no ugwuanyi. Retaliatory attacks against killer herdsmen is being carefully devised.

What language and geographic area will be official for the new country?

Ghana and Gambia have already provided huge swathes of land for diaspora Africans . Nigeria will be very unlikely to provide anything for free in the safer northern part of the country where land is abundant and available.

But it will be great if they can provide free land in Abuja for diaspora Africans. It will boost the development of Nigeria.

The truth is that buhari roundly hate and despise Igbos in particular and Christians in general.

However, his hatred does not matter. The man himself has already realized that it will take more than another civil war for his hatred to matter at all. Easily available satellite technology has made a lot of field capabilities possible.

Today, there are no more checks and balances to stop the looting. The Judiciary is firmly under a dummy as the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the legislature is a mere rubber stamp for any type of looting or outrageous laws they want to pass.

I always look to see how many likes for the pictures, but its almost none? Sometimes, one or two.
I think there is still a huge credibility gap with the Abia thread postings of improvements in Aba. It appears the urban roads are being worked on and gradually being repaired as evident in this video.

My prayer is that this great city finally gets some urban renewal to restore its greatness and lost glory.
