Omooba77:
Will Fuel Sells For #200/litre Officially In The Coming Days?

NNPC and and its subsidiary has come out that the landing cost of fuel is now around #171 -185 per litre. The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo confirmed this that NNPC has been bearing the additional costs for fuel to sell at #145. If the subsidy is removed, will Nigeria now pay around #200 per litre for fuel officially?
Actually, the Federal Government's plan is to increase fuel price first by creating artificial scarcity.

grin grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

You mean the 5%ers whose businesses are targeted for closure by EFCC and DSS, their roads are left unrepaired because they voted Jonathan, the only international airport in the zone is closed and flights diverted to Lagos, Abuja and Kano under the guise of repairing runway in the middle of the peak Christmas season when you know they will need the airport to return home.

By the way, the same runway which was fine to land almighty Buhari's plane just 3 weeks ago isn't good to land on because it's peak christmas season at the airport? Why didn't you even divert the flights to Owerri or Port Harcourt so that the passengers will suffer less in this fuel scarcity in getting to their destination? Afterall, when you closed Abuja, you chose the nearest airport at Kaduna to divert Abuja flights in order to alleviate the suffering of the passengers to drive just 2 hours from Kaduna to their Abuja destination. Judging by what you are doing in Enugu right now, You could have diverted all Abuja flights to Lagos or Port Harcourt airport without consideration of the plight of the passengers the way you are doing to Enugu passengers right now.

Oga , Talk is cheap. Show in action and deed that you have repented and abandoned your evil designs and everyone will speak of your fairness. Afterall President Umaru Yar'adua from you very own Katsina state is fondly loved by the same people who view his as a fair minded person without bitterness against any group.

I was just wondering why the dictator's team would release such statement and i just realized that the Presidential elections will happen within the next 11 months and the deceit against Igbos have already started.

Politics › Re: Gov. Rochas Bows To Pressure Reverses The Renaming Of Assumpta Avenue (pics) by Cjrane2: 4:04pm On Dec 27, 2017
Okorocha should convince Buhari to build a new dual carriage way in Owerri and name it after Buhari, then nobody will complain.
Follwo examples of other presidents.

Ibrahim Babangida built a new dual carriage way to Enugu airport and the road was renamed IBB airport link road.

Sani Abacha created Ebonyi state and to thank him, the people named a major road in the Abakaliki city center Sani Abacha way.

Murtala Mohammed created former Anambra state and to thank him, New Market park was renamed to Ramat Mohammed park and the list is endless.

Buhari can dualize the short road to Owerri airport and name it after himself.

If Buhari has done NOTHING for Imo state, why should they rename a historic road built by Sam Mbakwe after Buhari just for Rochas to curry favor? I would have liked them not to reverse it so that they endure the shame of the next governor of Imo state or House of Assembly making a law mandating reverting the road to its historic name. When that church and the road was built in the 1900s, Owerri was still a village. Why change the name now just because Buhari is president?
The same thing will happen to statues of some rogue Nigerian politicians if they are built by Rochas. Rochas better keep the statues limited to our dead heros whom all Nigerians agree were heroes instead of building statues of some APC members to get their support for his 2009 presidential ambition. Some of the statues will naturally come down either by unknown youths action at night vandalizing the offending ones or through deliberate re-organization of the Heros square after Rochas is gone. The insult of forcing things on people in the long run, the people will win.
Politics › Re: President Buhari Gave Fashola Deadline On 2nd Niger Bridge And Other Projects by Cjrane2: 2:01pm On Dec 27, 2017
I sincerely hope nobody is fooled by this fake news.

In 2018, APC will dish out many "orders" on "2nd Niger Bridge" the usual trick to deceive people in SE.

Come to think of it, the bridge will benefit DANGOTE trucks more than it will benefit many 5%ers living in London, Jos, Abuja and other parts of the world. Not to mention those youth corpers trooping over it to get to their states of assignment. So is it truly a SE project?

I hope nobody is deceived by the brewing tricks on 2nd Niger bridge. Everyone should just ignore them to continue making a fool of themselves.

Bro, DON'T BE SILLY playing childish games.

WE ARE ASKING THEM TO AWARD A PROPER CONTRACT TO JULIUS BERGER FOR PROPER 3KM RUNWAY RESURFACING IN 8 WEEKS AS THEY DID IN ABUJA!

SHUT IT DOWN AFTER AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO A REPUTABLE COMPANY AND GIVE A DATE WHEN IT MUST BE RE-OPENED AFTER 8 WEEKS AS YOU DID IN ABUJA!

They will not do that because their real intention is not to provide proper infrastructure in that airport they consider to be in a hated part of Nigeria. They didn't even change broken glass doors broken by rainstorm for 3 years now!

The intention is to find an excuse to close it down during it's peak seasons and then re-open it in February without doing anything.
They have started diverting all International flights coming into Enugu to Lagos.

My sister returning to Nigeria after almost 20 years abroad was dumped in Lagos airport yesterday without anyone to help her, after we were suddenly told they would close the airport before their so called 3:00 pm in compliance with order from above!

When they closed Abuja airport, they used the closest international airport to consider the stress on passengers travelling to Abuja by road and so they diverted to Kaduna airport instead of diverting to Lagos. Now, ask yourself why didn't they divert the flight to Port Harcourt or Owerri if it must be diverted at all before 3:00pm which they gave?

The FAAN claimed if they had to divert flights,it would be to Port harcourt or Owerri intl. airports, so why ask the flight to go all the way to Lagos? At least Port Harcourt and Owerri airports are of international standard and closer for relatives to travel and pick up their loved ones.

These are some of the agenda against Igbo people that convinces you we must stand up and fight for our rights. I am not saying it should be done now unprepared, but nobody should habor any illusions about that eventuality. It is the only way to live as decent human beings and develop without their targeted mischief to keep our region in stone age.

Here's the prototype of Akanu Ibiam road. Work is still going on though but looks good to be completed by Easter 2018.
Nice, prototype model. Nigerian local contractors never strive to match the model to the real project.

For example, We always see flowers and trees on prototype models. When they are built, it is a different story all together.
Politics › Re: Residents In Imo Refuses The Renaming Of Road After Buhari by Cjrane2: 12:41pm On Dec 27, 2017
Funny enough, NONE of the 97%ers major state capital road was named after Buhari.

It is the 5%ers who have received nothing and given a raw deal that will change historic names into Buhari avenue.

All that mess will end with a new governor.

APC will plan to rig Imo election, but they will find it a mission impossible.

Politics › Re: The Grand Conspiracy Against Innoson - Premium Times by Cjrane2: 6:11pm On Dec 26, 2017
jamesibor:
Our attention has been drawn to the fraud charges filed against Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma, OFR, popularly known as Innoson, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. We deem it fit to alert the general public that the alleged fraud charges filed by the EFCC is a ploy orchestrated by the Commission to justify the Gestapo style of arrest used in bundling Dr Chukwuma out of his residence and furthermore the charge is an action taken in bad faith to change the narrative to portray Innoson in bad light and divert the attention of the public who have continued to condemn the illegal action taken by the Commission.

We have some reservations with the publications of the details of the suit in question on some online blogs because the charge which EFCC purports to file has a temporary suit number, vis – temp/3315c/2017. This number is written with red pen at the top most right side of the charge published on EFCC’s page.

By this temporary number it means that the charge is not yet before any court in Lagos state. Also, it means that the charge cannot be acted upon by any court in Lagos state and it cannot be served on any party as well. As it is, the charge has not been filed. So why the media noise by the Commission of filling fraud charges against Innoson? We believe that it is a Volte face.

Furthermore we are alarmed at how low EFCC could descend to be used by GTB to destroy the Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneur. We have it now on good authority that there is a grand conspiracy by an international competitor of Innoson Vehicles who have conspired with a financial institution to pull down Innoson Vehicles at all cost because of the latest increase of patronage of Innoson Vehicles by the Federal Government.

But we are amazed that EFCC, a Federal Government Agency, which is supposed at all times to defend indigenous Nigerian companies who are working hard to make Nigeria great, will allow itself to be used as a tool to kill and destroy these companies.

Particulars of Offence

Nigerians need to ask EFCC if GTB as a bank has any license to import motorcycle spare parts or CKD. A cursory look at the charges filed by EFCC at court is both laughable and constitute national embarrassment. The motorcycles being deemed the property of GTB were ordered by Innoson from its manufacturers and suppliers with a loan from GTB. Under letter of credit transaction, in international trade, bills of landings are consigned to Banks not because the Banks – consignees – are the owners of the goods but rather to ensure that the seller is paid and the buyer receives the goods.

Mere consignment or endorsement of a bill of lading does not confer title in the goods covered by the bill of lading to either the consignee or the endorsee. Where consignment or endorsement of a bill of lading is intended as a security for loan, consignment or endorsement in such circumstance does not transfer title in the goods to the consignee or the endorsee.

All Innoson’s letter of credit transactions, through GTB, where confirmed LCs. In letter of credit transactions (LC), particularly but not exclusively confirmed LC, the term is cash against documents. Shipping documents are not released by the advising/correspondent Bank to the Issuing Bank until the Issuing Bank pays for the goods. At all material times, Innoson paid 25% of every LC value before it was opened.

The media hype of EFCC portrayed Innoson and its promoter as having stolen goods belonging to GTB. We note that attempt of EFCC to get the courts to retry a matter Innoson had already secured judgment on.

Till date, EFCC never told Innoson why he was arrested except to say on pages of newspapers that he was arrested because of his fraud at SEC and forgery of documents to obtain tax waivers.

While we await to be served the court papers, we want to advice the EFCC that if there is any complaint by GTB to EFCC, Innoson should be invited by the commission to clear its name, EFCC will then conducts its investigation before taking matter to court.

GTB is only trying to bribe EFCC to Intimidate INNOSON so that they won't pay what they illegally deducted from his account with interest.
Those fraudsters at GTB pilfering customers deposit should be exposed and sacked instead of trying to intimidate INOSSON for asking for his money back.

Anyhow, the case is now at the Supreme court and will be decided soon.
Nigerians are watching how state organizations as the EFCC are now used by individuals to harass citizens in an orchestrated effort to use false allegations to extort and intimidate.

This case will expose how the EFCC is being used by powerful people in Nigeria today to intimidate other people and will finally result in something good for Nigeria.

Without mincing words, Rochas is doing wonders in Owerri.

I am just appealing to him to copy Abuja model of planting trees or palm along median of major roads so ass not to repeat the mistakes of Lagos.

I know it is easy for folks to conclude that without trees and flower a place is still beautiful and habitable. However, a few months after the shiny paints are faded, you will see how ugly it will look. Trees and flowers not just give a great ambiance, it encourages people to treat the environment with some respect. We all love Abuja not just for the wide roads, but the conscious effort at landscaping with trees and flowers the way it should be done for every serious town.

Politics › Re: EFCC Files Fraud Charges Against Innoson Motors, Innocent Chukwuma by Cjrane2: 3:20am On Dec 25, 2017
Let EFCC and GTB present the evidence to the court and let the court determine the case.

Nigeria is not a banana republic where a bunch of corrupt illiterate Police men acting as EFCC will connive with a bank to intimidate a citizen.

Let them prove their case in a law court and everyone will be happy

This is how they turn from corruption fighting into witch hunting innocent citizens.

Meanwhile, folks should go to the nearest GTB branch and fill out a form to transfer out all your money now before it's too late. Before this is over, GTB will become a distressed bank and if your money is still trapped there, well, its your luck for refusing to transfer it when you had the liberty to do so.
