I am not sure I follow your deductions. Let me put it in another simpler context, all figures used are examples below and not accurate.

Lets assume the family of four needs 19million to apply together, so if they submitted their application together they would need proof of funds of N19million. But they dont have 19 million to apply together , they only have N15million,which is enough for 3 people.
So the wife applies first and gets her visa, then the other dependants applied after the wife with the same funds the wife used , duplication of funds.

So now, UKVI wants to know if all the funds are available and POF wasn't duplicated.

I think in your application in the additional information box you could have given a detailed explaination of your wife's refusal in June there. I think the case officer refused you due to your wife's previous refusal. someone here suggested, you wait for your wife's decision, if successful do an administrative review for your application.

Someone answered you yesterday. You have to wait for her application. Meanwhile you guys would have waited for hers before you put in to avoid confusion. When her application is out you then know what to do

After reviewing your mandatory questionnaire Teesside University are not in a position to proceed with your application. We have a responsibility as a UKVI Sponsor to only issue a CAS number where we believe the outcome of the visa application is likely to be successful and unfortunately in your circumstance we are unable to proceed.
 
Please refer to the UKVI Sponsored Student Compliance Policy paragraph 6.8 which sets out the non-exhaustive grounds under which the University will not assign a CAS; and, paragraph 6.1 which confirms that the University is under no legal obligation to assign a CAS and exercises caution so as not to risk its status as a Student Visa sponsor.

See how they just closed that road, why not Run your POF yourself, is better for UKVI to call and they told them the money is no longer there, maybe you removed the money earlier on at least they will issue your refusal letter for not having sufficient fund that’s if they went ahead to verify balance than using fraudulent account

This is painful. Paid the agent but got a fraudulent statement. Didn't dey get alert? Why didn't dey read online? Information is power. I get so sad when graduates fall for all these fake agents. People should be careful and research before entrusting their applications with an agent.

Asin very interesting. If it was an honest mistake, she should have uploaded her marriage certificate and a letter explaining. She shouldn't think of applying for her husband. It might even affect her present visa. She can apply for the kids if she didn't make the mistake of omitting their names too. Lol. But with a lot of proof. When I did mine I made a mistake with IHS payment I had to cancel the whole application and started all over. Asked for a refund and was refunded.

Good morning. Any 10th of September here? Any update from UKVI. I did on the 9th and family on the 10th. No news yet. Today is my 13th day.

Sorry about this but sister is listed on the form and inlaws too. Even adopted child. Guys let us be very careful while filling this form. I know some relative don’t like to be mentioned on application because of their status. The best thing is to be truthful. It’s well with you sis. If the refusal ground isn’t very serious then get someone who is sound to apply for the administrative review

Seen several cases as well of it being approved. It actually made me assume the date of biometrics is deemed your application date.

In any case better to be safe than sorry.

Please this is wrong. It boldly written on their website. The day you pay for visa is your application date. Not biometric

No. Those who submitted from last week are been handled by UKVI Pretoria while those of you who submitted last month are going through the previous process. Things have changed now. Just be patient

Mimilyrics, you have talked about this before and I think it was corrected then and you agreed with the correction.

The ECO wants to see that you have held your funds in the account for atleast 28days and the statement of account should not be older than 31days before you submit your application.

Meaning if you printed your 28days statement of account on the 1st of July, it’s is still valid to be submitted until 31st July

You only have to reprint if you are submitting the statement after 31st July

I employ us to read the rules carefully. I strongly support this statement. There was even an illustration to this on the site. Let me go and screen shot and share. You 28days must cover up to when your application is submitted. Good luck all

There's no express booking on TLS.

Which ever centre is closer to you and that you can get a booking. It is the same process in all centre (Abuja or Lagos)

Please note according to UKVi is it shouldn’t be more than 31 days on the you submitted your application which which when you pay for your visa. And not from your biometrics date. All these are clearly stated on their websites.
