Well, those who celebrate Christmas do not celebrate Nimrod, they celebrate the birth of Christ. Yes, it is possible that the Church in Her wisdom chose to use a date used by pagans to celebrate Nimrod or indeed any other god to mark the birth of Christ, a brilliant idea if you ask me.
