Breaking news guys as Cardi B has ended her marriage with Offset just a year after their marriage.
The rapper shared the sad news on her Instagram page on Tuesday, November 4, 2018. According to her, they had fallen out of love, hence the decision to call it quits.

”I have been trying to work things out with my baby father and we are really good friends and business partners and we’ve got a lot of love for each other…things haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault. I don’t know it might take time to get a divorce and I am always going to love him forever because he is my daughter’s father,” she said.

Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017 and have a daughter together.

Back in October 2017, Cardi B got engaged by boyfriend and rapper, Offset. The rapper popped the question to Bodak Yellow rapper during the Power 99’s Powerhouse event in Philadelphia.

the audience went wild watching Offset go down on his knee before showing Cardi the enormous diamond ring. The rapper said yes and hugged her boyfriend before going on to dance excitedly.

Cardi and Offset secretly got married back in September 2017. The private ceremony took place in the couple’s bedroom in Atlanta. After months of speculation, she officially confirmed her pregnancy in April during a performance on Saturday Night Live.

Shortly after she confirmed her pregnancy, she performed at Coachella but had to cancel several summer tour dates due to her pregnancy. According to a report by TMZ, Offset was at the hospital with his wife when she first gave birth.

In June, the rapper hosted a Bronx fairytale-themed baby shower for her baby girl. Kulture Kiari Cephus is Cardi B’s first child and Offset’s fourth.

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has reacted to the ''re-emergence'' of the leader of the proscribed secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

In an interview with AIT earlier today, the Minister said no government would waste its energy on a man like Nnamdi Kanu.

Reacting to the Live broadcast Kanu had on Sunday in which he said he is fully back and has brought hell with him, Lai Mohammed said Kanu is not something to “dwell too much on”.

“This is the same man that was claimed to be held by the military and I remember at the height of this saga, so many people wanted to hold the federal government responsible for the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu. The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) says it has set up a team to commence investigation of abandoned government projects across the country.

Acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, stated this in an interview with newsmen in Gombe today saying this would help the anti-graft agency to know the level of completion of the projects, as well as the funds being spent on them.

“The move is to ensure that the contractors complete the projects for the benefit of the people and the development of the country,’’ he said.

Magu said the agency was ready to fight corruption, but with the support of all stakeholders in the country. “This is where you can help us, if there is any abundant project we will go after them, because most people collect money and they don’t execute the contract,” he said.

According to him, some contracts were awarded without the intention to execute them.

Dennis Hof, the popular Nevada brothel owner whose business, Love Ranch, was at the center of the HBO series "Cathouse," has been found dead at the age of 72.

At about midnight on Tuesday, Hof went back to his private suite with Dasha Dare, who is one of the brothel’s sex workers, Ron Jeremy, his best friend, recalled. Hof and Dare had a two-hour romp in the suite.

A Lawyer, Lukman Esq, was allegedly stripped off his clothings by some policemen at A-Division in Olorin, Kwara state while attempting to secure the release of his client who was in their custody.

The Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation has lashed out at the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari, over attacks launched against the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku, a former vice president, was elected the PDP’s candidate at the party’s national convention in Port Hatcourt on Sunday, October 7, 2018, beating Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, to the ticket.

In the wake of his emergence, the APC and the Buhari Campaign Organisation have publicly described Atiku as an opponent with questionable wealth and track record in governance.

Atiku’s campaign organisation has now fired back at the jibes, touting the former vice president as a job creator who would boost Nigeria’s economy if elected president.

In a statement signed by the organisation on Tuesday, October 9, it listed Atiku’s track record to include superintending over the GSM revolution that saw Nigeria go from 50,000 to 100 million GSM lines, adding over 500,000 direct jobs to the Nigerian economy, and attracting $27 billion to the nation’s gross domestic product (GDP).

He’s also credited with initiating, starting and completing several road projects all over Nigeria including roads in Katsina, President Buhari’s home state.

Unlike Buhari, the statement stated, Atiku is an expert job creator who has founded many successful and thriving businesses.

The statement read, “We wish to remind APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, that Atiku Abubakar is not like President Buhari who has never run a successful private business throughout his life.

“Unlike Muhammadu Buhari, Atiku Abubakar is an expert job creator who has founded many successful and thriving businesses including the American University of Nigeria, Yola, a Microfinance Bank that has moved 45,000 families out of poverty and Rica Gado, a livestock feed company that has significantly reduced instances of herdsmen/farmers clashes by providing a business-friendly solution instead of asking Nigerians to give up their lands for cattle ranching or face death, as the Buhari government did.

“Unlike President Buhari, Atiku Abubakar does not believe Nigerian youths are lazy. How could, when 25,000 out of his 50,000 employees are youths?

“Nigerians should note that we have just listed only a few of the many booming commercial enterprises founded by Atiku Abubakar.

“Now we urge the Buhari Presidency and the APC to mention even one successful private endeavour that the President has successfully run. And by private enterprises, we are not referring to 150 cows that never increase in number, year in year out.”

The organisation further challenged President Buhari and the APC to mention three projects initiated, started and completed by the current administration in the last three years.

The organisation concluded that no other candidate is as motivated as Atiku to make the country work for everyone.

The 2019 presidential election is expected to be keenly-contested between Atiku and Buhari, a man he lost the APC’s presidential ticket to in 2015 before he dumped the party in 2017 to return to the PDP.

Adel Amrouche has quit his role as coach of Libya four days before they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

The Mediterranean Knights of Libya are top of the group E AFCON qualification group ahead of the double header against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The 50-year-old Amrouche had already released a 22- man squad for the home and away clash but according to latest developments he will not play any part in the encounter.


According to a report by Libyan newspaper outlet The Libyan Observer, Amrouche has quit his role as head coach over unpaid wages for the last six months despite the progress of the team.

Th report states aside from the dispute with the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) over wages, some senior players of the team have not been impressed with the tactics employed by the Algerian-Belgium manager and requested that he was laid off.


The report also states that Amrouche is not impressed with way the LFF treated his own assistants compared to the indigenous ones as they expected him to pay for their salaries.

Libya are unbeaten in the qualification series after a draw away to South Africa and their preparation has now suffered a dent.


The report states that Libyan manager Omar Al-Miryami is expected to take up the coaching lead after Amrouche’s departure as they are expected to arrive Nigeria a day before the first leg clash scheduled for Saturday, October 13.

Nigerian striker Victor Anichebe has reported his club Beijing Enterprises to world football governing body FIFA for match-fixing.
The 30-year-old has stated that he asked been asked by his employers not to put too much effort in two separate games.



Anichebe who made a name for himself in the Premier League for Everton and West Bromwich Albion now plays for Beijing Enterprises in the lower division of Chinese football.

The match-fixing allegations by Anichebe have been ongoing since last October before the took legal advice to defend his claims.

His legal team headed by Manchester-based sports lawyer Chris Farnell had an interaction with his clubs general manager but there has been no significant development on the issue.

He has not played for the Chinese side since he brought up the allegations which he feels could have cost him a place in Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles team to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

When questioned by Anichebe a teammate said, “This is China, we do as we’re told.”

Match fixing is not new to football in China as in 2003 Shanghai Shenhua were stripped of the Chinese Super League (CSL) while 58 officials players and referees were banned after a thorough investigation for three years.

Christians in China are facing more persecution as authorities reveal plans to change the Bible.

Reportedly, this is part of the government’s proposed five-year plan to force Christianity to “adapt to socialist society.”

More persecution against Chinese Christians

A prominent religious freedom activist shared details of this plan to the Congress saying that it will include a “rewrite” of the Bible and making Christians replace church hymns with communist anthems.

According to the Rev. Bob Fu, a former Chinese house church leader who started the persecution watchdog organization China Aid after immigrating to the United States in 1997, things are getting worse, not better for Christians in China.

He told members of the House Foreign Affairs’ Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights, and International Organizations: “Religious freedom in China has really reached to the worst level that has not been seen since the beginning of the Cultural Revolution by Chairman Mao [Zedong] in the 1960s.”

In his testimony, Fu said that the authorities are proposing to ‘re-translate the Bible or re-write biblical commentaries'” in order to make the Chinese culture look better.

“The plan made it clear that ‘Sinicization of Christianity’ means to change ‘Christianity in China’ into ‘Chinese Christianity,'” he explained.

“There are outlines that the new Bible should not look westernized and [should look] Chinese and reflect Chinese ethics of Confucianism and socialism,” he noted. “The Old Testament will be messed up. The New Testament will have new commentaries to interpret it.”

Fu also said that Chinese elements will be implemented “into church worship services, hymns and songs, clergy attire, and the architectural style of church buildings.”

“This includes ‘editing and publishing worship songs with Chinese characteristics and promoting the Sinicization of worship music,’ using uniquely Chinese art forms, such as Chinese painting, calligraphy, inscription, and paper-cutting to express the Christian faith,'” he said. “[It’s also] encouraging churches to blend in style with Chinese architecture to local architectural style.”

Sadly, this is not all as the activist says that churches will also be forced to “put up pictures of Chairman Mao and Chairman Xi [Jinping] on both sides of the cross.”


This is all after over 4,000 to 6,000 crosses have been torn down and Christians including children have been banned from going to church.

The highest grossing Nigerian film, “The Wedding Party” represents the flamboyant Nigerian wedding culture. Except for the absence of the fundamental Nigerian Jollof rice – I mean, who holds a Nigerian wedding without Jollof rice? – the movie does its best to capture a typical Nigerian wedding.

It is a representation of all the drama that could occur pre and post a wedding party. A typical Nigerian wedding party is fun, dramatic, tedious, but definitely entertaining.

A typical Nigerian wedding has that relative who turns up for the food or souvenirs, friends who turn up for the ‘gram’ and even an envious ex who is just there to witness and gloat over the inadequacies of the ceremony.

“The Wedding Party” captures the energy, music, colourfulness, culture and fashion that makes a Nigerian wedding party fun to attend.



2. “A Soldier’s Story”

If there’s any film that attempts to celebrate and encourage heroic soldiers and their contributions to the country, it is “A Soldier’s Story.”

The movie follows a soldier on a peacekeeping mission, who is left for dead by some rebel soldiers. The movie depicts various emotions such as the heartbreak and anguish that accompanies the news of the demise of a loved one in battle.

This story is such that ensures we remember the labours of these heroes past; heroes such as the Lt. Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali and other gallant officers who died in service during the war against Boko Haram.

3. “A Place in the Stars“



Inspired by the tenure of the late Director General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Professor Dora Akunyili, the 2014 Steve Gukas film tells the story of Dakim, a young lawyer who is in possession of vital information about the trafficking of counterfeit drugs that can save many lives if he passes it on, but make millions of dollars if he doesn’t.

Late Professor Dora Akunyili, during her tenure as the Head of NAFDAC, tirelessly fought to halt the sale and use of fake drugs, even at the expense of her life. She would go on to become the Federal Minister of Information & Communication in 2008, and spear-headed a rebranding campaign for Nigeria with the slogan: “Good People, Great Nation”.

The film acknowledges the dogged and honest spirit of several Nigerians out there who have been consistent in being good and portraying Nigeria as a great nation.

4. “Saworoide”



Nigeria is a country with several cultural practices that define us. We have the Sharo ceremony in Fulani Land; traditional baby naming ceremony in Yoruba land; the fattening room in Efik land; and Omugwo in Igbo land.

But if we are talking about one of the films that encapsulates an interesting culture of a tribe in Nigeria, it’s “Saworide,” which means talking drum or brass bell in English Language.

The Tunde Kelani film follows the setting of an old Yoruba norm in the town of Jogbo, where a person can not be crowned king without the Saworoide being played by the right person.

Drumming is a key part of the cultural heritage of the Yoruba people. They are several drums such as Gangan (Talking Drum), Bata, Saworide, Omela Ako; all used for different occasions.

The film celebrates the charm of African art, and the beauty of tradition and folklore.

Most importantly the movie speaks on Nigeria and how it has dealt with civil rule and military dictatorship.

5. “93 Days

“93 Days” celebrates the sacrifices of the late Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh and all who risked their lives to make sure the Ebola virus was contained in Nigeria.

On July 20, 2014, Liberian, Patrick Sawyer, arrived Lagos. He became severely ill upon arrival and died five days later of the Ebola disease. Almost 93 days later, on 20 October 2014, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared Nigeria to be Ebola free.

The method used to contain the virus brought positive recognition from around the world for the country. In WHO’s Ebola Situation Assessment report, it was commended with lessons for countries such as the United States. Nigeria had become that exemplary kid in class for a good behavior.

Ebola was controlled as a result of the quick thinking, resilience and selflessness of the late Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh and other medical personnel. Ameyo is credited for curbing a wider spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria by placing Patrick Sawyer in quarantine despite pressures from some quarters to have him released.

Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh died on 19 August 2014, few weeks after testing positive for the Ebola virus disease.

Apart from recording a significant period in Nigeria, the movie “93 Days” depicts the strength, selflessness and sacrificial nature of Nigerians.
