This is the problem with Nigeria

Serious position are filled up with friends and family of politicians

Now tell me how do we excel as a nation

And the funny thing be say we ourselves the common masses on the street go do worse once we get that opportunity
If those appointed merits the position by experience and education, there's no harm in giving such friends appointments when in position

SmartPolician:
I don't expect anyone to buy my idea because the idea has been sold to the world and everyone bought it. Listen, you can achieve with regular training whatever you do with friendly matches.

A coach can have more than 24 players in two teams and have them play against each other instead of wasting money and time playing with other countries in a neutral continent.
You have a point
I don't know the reason behind playing in a different country when it's just friendly match
It's waste of resources

gentlegiant95:
there's nothing for nwabali to solidify again. His place in the side is secure. These matches should be an opportunity for us to reintegrate maduka okoye into the fold. He has been seeing regular minutes for his club in Serie A. Play him in the two matches.
I disagree. Instead we try the other local goalkeeper who has not proven himself

Maduka can continue his successful career, let Nigeria show others to the world, especially those playing in the local league

Iwobi allow others to play na...
This is friendly and can be a good opportunity to see talented players

SmartPolician:
Friendly matches....

A complete waste of time, resources and efforts.

I don't know why FIFA bought the idea of friendly matches.

You can beat a country 5 - 0 in friendly matches but in a real tournament, they won't allow you to score one goal.
It is not really a waste of time if only hidden talents are featured.
For example, it is necessary for Nwabali to come and solidify his position.
It is also necessary to try out other midfield players since that os the area Nigeria is lacking
But some players like Iwobi, Osimhen and Troost should not come, or even if they come, they should not play.
Meanwhile Iwobi should retire. Moses was doing great and retired at an earlier age to create chance for upcoming players

Who really owns the party?

NLC or politicians?
Good question !

I think Obi using the party to contest brought a lot of divisions in a party that would struggle to win elections at both state and federal government levels.

With these draggings up and down, if Obi is interested to contest in the future, then he should consider a merger to form a new party

Who will rebuild those house burnt by soldiers if eventually the owners are innocent?

The act of killing soldiers is bad. Many government officials will /are promising to compensate the families, and the military should of course do the same

GistMedia0:
Venezuelan drug trafficker Reinaldo Fuentes, 68, was brutally murdered by his kidnappers who bound and gagged him before tying him to an anchor and throwing him into the sea. Fuentes, a middleman for the Venezuelan Clan del Cartel, had attempted to steal £7.9 million worth of cocaine from the gang. He tried to cover up the theft by fabricating a story about a coast guard pursuit, but his bosses became suspicious.

The cartel, angered by his actions, responded by killing him in a ruthless manner. Fuentes, who had tried to collect and move the cocaine, was also known to be dating a prominent lawyer and caring for her daughter. The chilling footage of his death shows him struggling as he is tied to an anchor and thrown overboard, with no efforts made to save him. Authorities have not yet made any arrests in connection with Fuentes' death.

Are Rectors politically appointed?

I'd suggest allowing the Institutes to be electing their leaders. Government Houses should not make the leadership of educational institutions political. They can appoint Commissioners for Education, but not Vice Chancellors and Rectors
