senatordave1:
A big blow to pdp and obaseki that was expecting Barr akpata to step down.
Obi will not turn back on his party's candidate

He did the same for Imo election, despite people for Imo knew the candidate is not knowledgeable and has some dirty past records.

The Edo candidate just finished his term as Nigerian Bar Association's president and may be credible enough to fly fly flag. However, some people are criticising his candidature due to the zoning principle
Unfortunately, Obi's wave will not make much impact, unless the candidate himself is loved by the people

Sports › Super Eagles: Must Every Player Invited Play? by Cmanforall(op): 9:04am On Mar 28, 2024
Must all the players invited to the Suoer Eagkes camp play in the match?

This is not possible.
Players invited should not put pressure on the coa h to get a playing time.
If you don't want to honor the invitation, stay back so other players can take the slot

They want to construct good roads in your community, another problem.

If these projects are not executed, problem. The government is neglecting us!

This kind of protest should be in front of government House or their representatives at the National Assembly

Marjoribanks:
Nigeria has the most players playing for top teams. Many didn't come due to injuries. Mali played its first team. We need to relax. All the players that played today are better than any home-based players . Are you saying Iheanacho/Ndidi/Onyedika etc aren't good enough to start in Nigeria league?
You can't conclude on this !
Man to man... ? Note others get noticed because of the leagues they play in and the exposure they receive.
NFF should organise a friendly between homebased and the foreignbased players. Such friendlies will also showcase talents at home

And can you tell which Nigerian players are playing for top teams?

Marjoribanks:
Is Mali using homebased players? Which homebased players would stay in the league for more than one season after getting exposure?
NIGERIA does not need to do what other African countries are doing.
How many homebased players are in the English team, if you want to sound this way?
That's even not the point here. If the players leave the league, they will be invited if they are in a team in the top 5 or so of their league, and are regular starters.
If Nigeria has players in Man City, for example, the player will be invited. But picking lower division players or players who rarely play in their clubs to come represent SE should be reconsidered

If we continue like this, for a long time, Super Eagles will never go anywhere!

Every opponent always plays better and fascinating football.

Truth be told,
We have continued to maintain poor football.
We only change coach, but the poor play continues. Seems the day we get it right politically, then the glory of super eagles will come back.

Who knows!??
Nigeria needs to be strict on players, and those they invite.
Yes, there could be foreign-based players of Nigerian origin. Nigeria should maybe invite only those who play regularly for their clubs and their clubs are in top 5 of their respective leagues. Anything less than that,
Nigeria should just develop their homebased players for international football. They may lose at initial times, but with time they will understand each other. So friendlies should be reserved to build the teamand play well

Google and see where he was asked to implicate Saraki so that he would be set free.

You speak like a leaner in NIGERIA politics.
There's no smoke without fire

Did you also Google to see him alongside Saraki ?
He was also present at Saraki's daughter's wedding?

You think he's a common man without political associates?

Mind you, Saraki may not send him to rob a bank, but if such a criminal had need for 'godfather' contacts, he got connections

So to the point initially raised, these Bandits likey have political connections and they are being used during election times

With the boys using toilet paper to create a trail across the room, removing the TV set from its stand and relocating it to a different spot, and even hanging a towel from the bathroom across the room's door.
