if you have already learnt the basics, then the next step is to practice what you know by building projects that's how you will get better! not by waiting.

I'll suggest that you download project videos from YouTube and code along to build the projects. I'll recommend Brad Traversy and DevEd YouTube channels, they have great content for web development.
